I do agree with you there for the first time, however what the OP is doing is not what I and apparently many others think is constructive critisism. It is taking what he is used to and wanting to bring it over to a new game. That way of thinking has to stop. Let BW find their own way of doing things just like Blizzard found their way.

Genius you mentioned that there are only 10-20 people your level. Basically your exactly the reason people where saying dont rush through content. You cant find a group because your too high level for the server. give it a month and then whine some more if its still a problem.

I dont hate Blizzard or Wow, But I dont want this game to have addons or dungeon finder simply because it makes the game ever easier then it is now and takes away from the community feel, just like Blizzard did. Addons will make the developers have to cater to the people with addons, and people without addons will be forced to go and download them to be competitive. Why not just keep it as it is now? that way everyone is even. Maybe resizing UI etc and stuff that wont make a difference is fine, but DPS meters/Boss mods etc, I and many others im sure will quit my subscription as soon as they announce the introduction of such things, not saying they wont do it though.

I rerolled for now to see what happens and if I can join my guild at a later date when queues are stable. Dont have time to sit in queue all day when i get home from work.

youd also have to change the dynamic of the dropped loot. Cuz idiots would still just press NEED to get the item and give it to their pet.

This is an interesting topic, Its quite hard to answer acctually. Although i do agree that it would be nice to have a system in place whereby people cant be idiots it also means that idiots dont get weeded out. For anyone who played EQ youll know what I mean, if you where a ****** then very fast the community found out about it and say good bye to grouping. However this was also possible because leveling was 100x harder than it is in this game. My opinion is that due to the casual approach this game has and how easy it is to level a system must be put in place to avoid people doing what OP posted. Perhaps allow people to always Greed items for their companions, but only NEED stuff they can use.

DPS = is from way before wows time, and DD is Direct damage which would confuse people if you used ii in place of dps.
