  1. I think we already have many Stronghold Options, but what I'm missing so far is: - Hoth (still surprised this hasn't been an option yet with so many different locations already in the game) - As mentioned already: Tython / Korriban - As mentioned already: Zakuul - Hutta / Ord Mantell (Hutta might be more of a secret hideout though, who wants to really live there)
  2. Resurrecting this thread - is important still^^ Faction switching if done in full for all content, would probably be a huge challenge and costly (voice acting). Regarding all content happening prior the faction switch, we could argue that timeline wise they happened earlier. What would be important and added value to the game is that it should be avoided that we just merge into our mirror class (eg Sith becomes Jedi, Smuggler becomes Agent etc). An Imperial Trooper, a Republic Agent for example would be something many people wish. So from my point of view what could look feasible: Ingame community: You switch, you lose your old Guild, friends etc. You start "fresh" in the new faction. You can't read general chat of your old faction anymore etc. Obviously huge warning sign ingame required. This would give your decision also game play wise weight. Spacedock/Fleet: New Faction, your old fleet has you now on a kill-on-sight Planets: 1) Now able to visit Capital (Coruscant/Dromund Kaas) of your new faction, although no interaction with Quest NPC's possible. Your old capital you can still visit, story wise it's at an earlier state. Alternatively can cut access to old capital altogether - might be easier. 2) All other planets at the state "pre switch", so players can still do old content - that includes Balmorra/Taris. Old faction specific content and Heroics won't be able to Group up anymore with your old faction though. Only challenge if future content would lead you back to old planets - the Dev Team might need to use a different approach then. Flashpoints: Players would do the versions of their new factions as they are also game play wise part of the new community. Revan Arc, Tython, Korriban the voice acting is obviously missing. I hope the community would be forgivable though if the Developers will take shortcuts, even if it's immersion breaking. Like having no voice but subtitles instead etc. Armor appearances: Presumably this is tied to your class, it would remain as your old faction. With all the adaptive armor sets etc there are enough cosmetic options out there if you really desire to make your Jedi look like a Dark Sith Lord etc. PVP: I don't see any issues - you are part of your new faction now. Your former blue icon is now red and vise versa. Anything that I overlook?
  3. It's called Operative Healer wrong faction though^^
  4. Thanks, I will remind myself, respectively the group, if I end up running this again to try everyone to run to up the stairs to his 2nd spot.
  5. I recently started a Republic Character (on DM server) and yes, I got Hammer Station in GF but much less than in Imperial Side. On Imperial side it felt like 80% of the time lol Which faction were you playing on?
  6. Yesterday doing this FP and Group was giving up at the last boss Kilran. We wiped easily 5-6 times without any real progress. He bugged out being invincible at the start most of the time and one time at 45% (he somehow suddenly dropped to 45% actually).
  7. Oh yes - if there is a risk that SWTOR goes "woke" if the devs try something new, then please double down on rehashing please.
  8. After Wow Classic's success I feel like Necro this threat from the dead. So... would a vanilla SWTOR server (eg pre Rise of the Hutt Cartel?) be a good idea?
  9. 30 cxp levels - one set item. Is there any information available about the chances to get a set item? Are those chances increasing with command level etc.? And in case if not, why is Bioware keeping this information hidden?
  10. Hello everyone, I finished KOTET without any romance/flirt options for my character (Agent) with Lana during the whole story. I believe this to be a bug and I would like to know if there is a fix possible (replaying old chapters etc) or ticket, which is had very bad experiences in the past, would be the only "solution". - My agent romanced Kalyio during Class story but rejected to marry her. No romance with Ensign Temple. - Most flirt options taken with Lana during SoR chapters - Romance options available with Lana during KotFe (and most or all taken) - officially broke up with Kaliyo in Kotfe (yes, including pop up window and confirmation to do so) But now it comes... - I think I never got a "confirmation window" to initiate romance with Lana, albeit having selected to flirt with her in Chapter 9. At that time I of course didn't know that this is a bug and such a window should pop up. - Codex entry doesn't mention romance - No flirt options available with Lana during whole Kotet I have zero motivations to level another character again (finished all class stories, some more than once) and again go through the Command XP grind once more. Since 5.0 I intended to never touch any alts again and focus only on my Operative Healer as Main. Maybe sounds bit to extreme, but this bug would be the final nail into the coffin to bury this game for me (once more). Therefore it would be really awesome if a fix or work around could be found for this. Feedback from Support welcome as well of course.......
  11. Are you a Republic Guild (as the name might suggest) or Empire? or both? Apologies if its stated on your website somewhere and I overlooked it.
  12. Hey there! MadCast looks like a fun bunch. You stated that you have players from all over the World - does this also apply to SWTOR? Do you have any Aussies, Oceanic, APAC players? Hailing from Japan here and looking for a casual gild where I could might join some raids once in a while, contributing to conquest, some casual pvp and just having some fun with other content and events.
  13. Was running through it the first time an my main (Agent). As already stated, as an Agent it also makes a lot of sense. You are not able to wield the force, but still bring so much change to the Galaxy. The Agent is really ******.... and don't forget who the Lady of Sorrows is. Looking at the mission picture for the next chapter to be released shows again a familiar character. Former cipher nine always had the most interesting companions. Well ok I admit, Bug Boy is a bit... well.. strange. ^^ During the play through I was especially intrigued by the though decisions Valkorion gives you to accept his powers. You seriously need to consider it when facing Arcann alone, getting your butt kicked. Rejected him several times, but the last decision I just couldn't find a realistic reason not to accept it. I wonder how this all plays out in the end. As a powerful force user I would find it much easier to resist there. In my swtor head-canon Agent was always the "Last" chapter from all 8 class stories and the one which continues from there onward.
  14. Hello there First of all apologies lunzlunz for posting in your thread, but I hope its ok. @Wolf & Ternimatrix Silent council seems to be like the APAC guild I'm searching for. PvP and PvE content a like and not to big, so can help to build up something as well as being part of a smaller community. Searching for an ops group for my Medicine Operative but would also like to learn some PVP once in a while. Enjoyed heal operative pvp while leveling pretty much. Got extensive Swtor raiding experience pre 2.0 (Jugg tank and Merc healer), although those characters are on an EU server. Hence the operative is my only lv65 character on Harbinger (among some other characters lv40's and 50's, namely PT tank, Mara and Sorc). Will try to look for you or another Silent Council member to see if I would be a fit. cheers
