As a general rule, main and secondary stats are more important than Endurance, and in regards your particular situation, actually the most important thing for a tank is to a) mitigate incoming damage and b) hold aggro. You mitigate damage by stacking the appropriate tanking stats (defence, shield, absorb) and you hold aggro by building threat on your targets, and for that you will need to hit them as hard as you can, so you will definitely want that aim (more aim = more damage = more threat).
In reality, a larger health pool by itself it's not something that is worth going for: the situations where that little extra health actually makes a difference between being dead or alive are a rare exception rather than the rule. And even worse, if you dump your main stat (aim) in lieu of a minuscule amount of health means that you will have a harder time holding aggro, thus making you a sub-par tank.
So, in the end, don't worry too much about Endurance. You will get all the Endurance you need as you mod your Trooper.
Hope this makes things a little clearer for you.
tl;dr: go for your main stat (aim) and your secondary tank stats; Endurance will come by itself.
