  1. Control the *bleep*ing mid! Wise words, but too often yelled by warzone heroes among their litany of insults aimed at their "inferior" teammates.
  2. The OP seems to find their play quite offensive. (Sorry about that) But WutsInAName is right ... if someone is sitting on the line waiting for a pass, get a few recently respawned teammates to move/kill him. Otherwise expect to lose quickly (which would probably happen anyway as from the description it sounded like an organized team.) Completely valid tactic.
  3. So to remove that character ... ctrl alt delete?
  4. http://db.darthhater.com/items/30980/czerka_crate_o_matic/ Doesn't port you anywhere, but does turn you in to a crate. Would be useful to get holocrons if another player could jump on top of you
  5. I will one up you ... why does it cut to me standing by the exit facing the door? I just got on my ship, odds are I want to move away from the door when I get inside.
  6. No matter how much you want to avoid it, there are three more letters in MMORPG. Not every update has to deal with your misconception that "massively multiplayer" demands that everything has to do with grouping. And others play how they want to play. Bioware is giving content to many play styles, don't pout because one part doesn't benefit yours. Edit: And to attempt to fend off the argument before it starts ... I group pretty much every time I play. But in my mind the "massively multiplayer" part means that at any given time there are many people playing. That's it. I don't have to group with them if I don't want to, but if I do I have the option. I understand there are others that don't share that view. But I don't attempt to belittle their view simply because I disagree. Maybe I just don't belong on the internet ....
  7. One thing I hadn't noticed mentioned, but in order for that pureblood sith jedi to show up in the Republic fleet that means that the player had to have come from playing on the Sith side. So while you see -1 lore, I see +1 faction balance. And in my opinion that trumps any possible lore issues.
  8. I tend to find that when developers aim to add a crap ton of anything they usually end up equal parts 'ton' and 'crap.'
  9. I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or have a faulty recollection, but in case it is the latter ... you most certainly did not. SWG planets were grids of land, not the entire planet. And they did not allow you to go off the left side and come back out on the right. If you set off in any direction you would eventually reach an impassable boundary. On Tatooine those boundaries were mountains, so if you started off in Mos Eisley and went anywhere for long enough you would hit a giant wall of rock, not the other end of Mos Eisley.
  10. Just watched from 7:50 (when he gets to the main station) on ... this is exactly how it was on day one of the EGA. You talk to the guy right up front, he sends you to talk to the two "specialists," and you go back to the 1st guy to choose.
  11. Eh, that's "you have to make a choice" to me. Not really speaking to it being a permanent one. The BH decision needs to be made clearer. There needs to be a line similar to the other video posted where it flat out says "there is no changing your mind" so there is no confusion.
  12. Watch the video a little earlier, he does go to tweedledum and tweedledee to get the descriptions. And even though I had thought they mentioned it being permanent as well, it seems that is incorrect.
  13. You don't need mod stations anymore. Just ctl-right click the item to modify it.
  14. To be fair, that video is not of the bounty hunter decision. Edit: And the bounty hunter one posted from beta is how I recall the conversation ... and it says nothing about it being permanent. Sadly it seems the OP might be correct on this one.
  15. In beta there were some people getting stuck with the debuff from carrying the ball in Huttball. But I think logging fixed that. I know that queuing for another warzone did.
  16. World LFG channel becomes World Chuck Norris channel all too quickly. Good intentions, but that is one very short road to chat hell.
  17. Oh, I know. But I also know that if the option was added there would be people that would want an option to keybind toggling the up/down state, particularly on RP servers. I admit, it would look kind of cool if it was animated
  18. If you could macro the ability to toggle the hood being up/down I am sure someone would stand around with that key pressed down I have the eyeball thing quite often. Pretty creepy, but not as bad as in a beta where all of the eyeballs were stuck in the low res form. Everyone looked like they had inch thick cataracts.
  19. I foresee seizure inducing combinations of those two options.
  20. I say old chap, excellent move! You do realize, however, that this requires that I extricate your arm from its socket? Please be mindful and contain your screams. I will be quick.
  21. Not on the official site / description. At least not that I ever noticed. Personally I knew the color from dev Q&A, forums posts, etc. But the pre-order page itself never said it was yellow/black.
  22. This part I am less inclined to disagree with I believe they had a good plan. I also believe that it could have been a lot better. I don't think they needed all of the servers in for the EGA, but they should have had more. I tend to think that they didn't count on two factors (or at least the degree of them): 1) People completely ignoring the "guild launch" server deployment 2) People making alts on multiple servers from day one Both of those caused the initial batch of EGA servers to fill up much more than they had anticipated. More servers from the start of the EGA would have helped that a lot, however since they didn't foresee the problem they didn't expect to need that many servers on the 17th. I could be wrong, but I give them the benefit of the doubt rather than think they are maliciously over-stuffing the servers
  23. I would have been amused had it crit'ed a discovery to some uber crystal of loathsome yellow/black disappointment
  24. You would be a terrible bookie. I know darn well that EVERYONE I personally know made no such assumption. I also know that there were several sites that listed it as the black/yellow color (although a couple had them reversed to be yellow core with black "glow") Sorry that you (and admittedly a number of others) were disappointed due to reading too much into a description.
