  1. If you can't tell a difference between 30ms and a 150ms in PvP, that's you then. I can tell the difference it makes when a shadow or scoundrel vanishes and how quick my stealth scan activates after hitting it. Several guildmates and I could easily, as the server would spike to 200ms quite often for all of us. You chose to play on a east coast server, that's you. We chose west coast for the better performance and with the recent transfers, we are forced to play in either a ghost town or a something laggy.
  2. It has nothing to do with ISP, I was on Ajunta Pall and averaged 37ms. I'm running a 20m down, 5 up with comcast and I'm average 140ms with 200k spikes on Jung Ma. You're suggesting I go to 50m down just to play this game? That a bad joke? All it has to do with server location, all us west coast players got screwed by Biowares poor planning.
  3. You're right there, but it'd be nice if they allowed us to transfer to a west coast PvP server. I have no care for RP, only reason why I rolled on the server was because it was high population, even faction balance and on the west coast. I'm glad that everyone else is happy that they're on high population servers and the game is enjoyable, but I have to say in this case, Bioware really dropped the ball.
  4. Exactly, the only reason why I rolled on Ajunta Pall four months ago was because the faction balance was dead even, moreover the population was high. Now I'm given the choice of playing on a dead server or playing on something where the latency is so high it's frustrating. Now it really makes me wonder what is Bioware thinking? Self sabotage ftw?
  5. Ajunta Pall was a moderately populated server that normal fleet population peek would vary between 50-100. Today the transfers opened up, allowing Ajunta Pall players, a west coast server head to Jung Ma, an east coast server. The 170+ fleet population is great and all, but not when my ping is ranging from 150-200 at best. If I had stayed, I would've been on a server that has become a ghost town, so either way I'm screwed, and I'm not the only player that is frusterated by this. I very much enjoy the game, despite all the speed bumps bioware has encountered, but this was one decision that left me scratching my head, what were you guys thinking? I know the paid transfers will be out soon, but in all honesty it didn't have to come down to that.
  6. Telling me that explosive round is useful at 50, yes that's trolling. At level 12, you're given bolster which will increase your DR to somewhere 45-50%. And your base damage quite a bit to make up for the lack of talents, so yes running around in a warzone you can do quite a bit of damage playing team deathmatch in huttball or voidstar. I can use my own personal expierence and tell how my railshots have even been deflected by a sorc. Or when a tankassin uses force shrould I can't do anything to them, let alone saber ward and deflection negating my damage completely. Or firing off a railshot at a sniper and seeing "cover" pop up. All it is, is hearsay.
  7. Saying things that aren't true and blowing things out of context are trolling. I wasn't the only one that called you out on it. Yes, a level 12 vanguard is very easy to play, with that whole set of skills at your disposal.
  8. Never said they were OP, in fact Sage healing is going to be boosted according to developers. You make it seem that I can simply roll in and just blow everything up in a matter of seconds without any subject to game mechanics. Cause ranged weapon damage isn't subject to shields, defense, accuracy and cover, right? Moreover you make yourself seem so helpless on your gunslinger, which I find quite amusing. Pretty pathetic that you'll go as low as to report a post simply because your basis of having a level 12 vanguard and doing damage makes you the expert on pyro pvp.
  9. Uh yes many do for the root and mezz. All you lose is force surge and revification.
  10. We were talking about a sorc pillar humping and utilizing this CC. You don't understand a RANGED class can't shoot through a pillar?
  11. Yes, because I can get out of the overload root, shield break mezz and all other forms of CC. Obviously you don't understand what you call "basic game mechanics".
  12. Right, with that explosive round/missile blast spam right? Most Sorcs will force slow, then force speed around the pillar and pillar hump. Also with the sorc healer hybrid build, between the mezz from shield break, overload root which give very little resolve, they're almost impossible to kill.
  13. Dodge, given to you at level 24. Diversion, 9 seconds of -45% reduced target accuracy if youre sharpshooter. If you're dirty fighting, or whatever the lethality equivalent is, it should be even easier for you. We have a sniper on my server by the name of Dreyson that always matches my damage as pyro. Your cover negates a portion of railshot if not competley at times, and your 20 seconds of CC immunity prevents us from a CC gib, which you have on a 60 second cooldown.
  14. Saberward, Rebuke/Cloak of pain, Pacify/obfuscate, force shroud, deflection, dodge, want me to continue? No tank jugg, sentinel, tankassin or even a well played operative should lose to a pyro.
