  1. Personally I blame EA, they do things like this to every game ther name is on that is multiplayer and online. They completely ruined SWG, I personally have hate for EA, they never listen to their players, they set ridiculous deadlines and force release product that isn't ready all the time. Which is clearly the case of this 5.0 update, IMHO. Lets just hope this game doesn't die like SWG did because of it.
  2. I was thinking the same thing, and it's not just her HP that is glitched.. all her stats are glitched. 200 dmg at lvl 68? I won't be using this companion anytime soon. Lol
  3. Well hopefully a dev or friend of a dev passes on some ideas then. That's all we can hope for really. But it's bad when there's content that just isn't even worth doing and the cube is pretty much worthless right now. *shrug* Plus, I posted it just for the idea to use "Scaling" so they could steal it and apply it to anything they wanted to really. hilts, mods, augs, etc. example on the legacy vendor item sets, and the world drop legacy-item vouchers for example would benefit much from effects that "scale" cause those are pretty useless at the moment too.

Yes that was the intention, as it used to be THE relic to have. And each character can make one, so you don't HAVE to pass it over, but you could. Your legacy tab idea is a good one too.

Heh, Like I said just an idea and to put to use useless grind ranks like social/alignment/etc right now they are just a grind for achievements and titles, not much use otherwise and the point I was trying to make is that these things could open up whole new customization avenues. Sorry I'm not always articulate and successful at relaying ideas. I suck at writing *laughs*
  7. It doesn't do all of that it does one or the other based on combat role. So you don't get the benefit of everything, only what your current role uses. Also, I get your point on presence, but even at 3k presence your companion isn't soloing anything like the so lets say a.25% per rank (these were just suggestions mind you). This whole thing is to make an item that used to be BiS back from being completely useless now. Who have you seen with a matrix cube since the first expansion. The answer is none. You're making it sound like all this is available with no effort. This is not the case at all. And all the values can be changed to something more suitable. But the idea is, to bring life back to it and keep it useful even with future updates and level cap increases. "+5 mastery and +3 endurance per level = +325 mastery and +195 endurance at level 65. Not that much compared to the few thousand points you'd have from leveling and that you'd have equipped from other gear, I suppose. I'm just surprised that you only said it that way instead of specifying that for non-tanks and the other way around for tanks." -- yes I did forget to say that but I intended to, thanks for pointing that out. And the percentage buffs would only buff what you've already built. So it amplifies your current role/stats (just like class buffs do now), it doesn't add to what you don't already have. If that clears that up. As far as the quests go, that is for someone else to redesign But the shard combinations don't matter anymore anyhow with the Mastery changes. So really they only need a 3 shard quest revamp. Thank for the constructive analysis. But none of this was something set in stone, just an idea. They can use it or don't. Also to maybe give idea for further implentations to make alignment/social rank etc matter more in game. Feel free to adjust the values with something you feel more comfortable with. And re-assess. And no you could make more than 1 (per legacy), but only equipt one (per character).
  8. I had idea for an updated Matrix Cube that utilizes, Legacy level and character level, alignment, and combat role, and social rank. Effectiveness scales to match your character lvl in item rating. Will grant normal ”relic bonus” once legendary player achievement is completed. At max valor rank, becomes fully usuable in PvP. At Legacy level 50 the cube may be augmented via an mk-kit. Legacy bound, only 1 per legacy (so you cannot equipt more than 1), Indestructible (no durability) BASE +5 Mastery per character level +3 Endurance per character level +2% Presence per legacy rank +2% Expertise per valor rank +2% Experience/Credits gained per social rank Class role modifiers TANK: +5% bonus to armor, shield, absorb, and defense ratings (adds a buff) DPS/Heal: +5% bonus to power, critical, accuracy, and alacrity ratings (adds a buff) Alignment modifiers Light/Dark: 1% Mastery per rank (adds a buff) - Legendary cube & relic bonus based on current combat role TANK: Taking damage triggers a temporary shield that absorbs the next source of damage completely. Also any damage that would reduce your health to 0 instead reduces it to 1 for 3 seconds. Can only occur once every 30 seconds. DPS/Heals: Healing an ally or Dealing damage to an enemy grants a 3X critical rating for 6 seconds. Can only occur once every 30 seconds. Once augment slot is capable (at legacy level 50) can be augmented just as any other relic can be. *If you do not have constructive criticism or suggestions, keep it to yourself please. This is only an idea I had that I thought would add some use to old content that has now been obsolete. Thanks and may the Force be with you, always.*

  11. Well, it's been down for more than a half hour now.. So all you idiots that tried to be cool with your mathematics failed epically. And now we're out a couple hours of double XP for a 'Restart'? If a restart takes this long. Maybe you should upgrade your hardware with all the money you're making from the Cartel Market and Subscriptions. JUST A SUGGESTION!
