I'd say he's just an idiot, has to be some sort of physical pain associated with these people being as ignorant as they are. Would be slightly unfair if it didn't hurt.

I'll give you that is a non issue for some people, however, my main point is this; A lot of people claim the "true pvper" title, and admittedly I'm not one of them. I play frequently but keep my happy *** on a pve server where I can **** tab all day with no risk. It just seems from a theoretical and principal stance that if I were one of those hardcore pvpers I would want someone to look at me and either underestimate me so I could roll them or be impressed that I'm an exceptional player. The current system just lends itself to knowing someone spends more time grinding than you do. I'll keep my casual self in huttball where the environment hazards are my expertise and level equalizers. Smart play with the acid and fire pits beats any stat any day of the week. I

They're able to normalize stats at the top end, why not do it at the bottom so gear ultimately has little to no purpose. Sure it removes one part of an incentive, but as much as everyone wants to deny it a large part of an mmorpg is playing dress up with your digital doll. Reward the players who play well with access to the higher tier items which won't subsidize their ability but let everyone know around them that this is one ****** who is not to be ****ed with.

I level a toon with my girlfriend and we don't always keep the same schedule, it's a lot of fun going through the world story archs with someone, the current exp system makes it so I have to abandon that character when she isn't online and wanting to quest or push her to pvp when I'm not on which really isn't her thing.

As far as I can see, my bank account is the same other than $5 that I spent on a reservation of a product at my choice. If I haven't paid for it then I don't see any reason I should be entitled to it. Pretty sure that's called stealing out here in the real world. Now, if bw wants to lend me their product before I buy it then i'll gladly accept, but since it's not mine I don't get to dictate the borrowing terms.

Okay, I see a whole lot of rage and crying over this staggered system, let's break this down and try to be intelligent about this. Let's say the flood gates were opened and everyone got to log on. The possibility exists that everyone gets in on their instanced zones and we all walk off into the sunset with our lazer swords. Sounds pretty sweet huh? Okay, now look at what could happen if Bioware didn't play it safe on this. Servers might start crashing left and right and even the instancing can't handle the load. All of a sudden the forums and every game media outlet is on fire with cries about a failed launch. The people who have never played an mmo or are on the fence see this and a large potential customer base is cut before it can form. A week from now people will forget about their frustration in waiting for their place in line, a failed launch would live on a lot longer than that. I'm an adult and have had to wait for something I've wanted before this and will have to again after this. Personally; I would much rather wait a while in line and preserve the reputation and future of a game i'm planning on dedicating quite a bit of my time to, than get instant gratification and be on an empty server months from now.
