Imps have the highs and the lows, and the Pubs have the **** subs who think Tionese gear is the pinnacle of PvP gear and is better than recruit gear. I left around 1.2 and came back twice, after they put in legacy perks and then again right before 1.7. TOR is pretty forgiving if you wanna get back into the game honestly. Just find a good imp or pub guild to pvp with and take the week to grind out WH gear or grind PVE weeklies to get BH gear, you can be full 61 in no time and start doing HM EC and TFBs within the month. GL finding a guild to really progress with the Expac on the horizon. At this point I'm just farming creds and WZ comms for 2.0. If you can't find what you want in live roll a toon in PTS til you find one you like, then spend the last months of 1.x grinding alts. As for what faction, I'd honestly say Imps for real progression due to their overwhelming majority population wise. Pubs are cool, but there are so many bad subs. Guilds like <Jeejee> who are "pvp" guilds and suck harder than an overclocked hoover.

All of the rep gear from all the rep vendors is BoL. People don't really give a **** about the Pub and Imp fleets though. I mean, I do the heroic space missions, it's real easy BH comms and rep, and I think the gear is sweet. 1 week and I get my DBZ scouter.

Not really that popular. I expected it to be a big deal since you only needed friend to get it, but apparently not. I don't expect the new cartel Gold set to be a big seller if this is the trend. I mean, the champion set does look really good, and I definitely prefer it to the black and blue/red, but honestly it's just another set of gear everyone's gonna grind for, and I'd rather stand out. Anyone really into the Gree gear?

TL;DR, but I did manage to see something about "gkick." Nope. I left. Some troll from <The Elite> kept spamming the GM with tells about how I'm a noob and I noob the noob or something. Now i'm the top rated solo queue PvP guild on the server. Come at me bro.

The A team is actually pretty good. PK alone is a train without tracks, I've seen him squash people.

Not the greatest time to get geared since the Expac is not only right on the horizon (zordon willing), but the PTS is up and running and HM S&V is almost doable. You might be better off looking for people to raid in 2.0 and spending time learning the ins/outs of new crafting and PVE content. Not to discourage you or anything.
