  1. Hey Mar'ek! Yes I will def hit you up as soon as I can. Also, thanks everyone for the info, I think I like this server ^_-
  2. So I ask, what does the server scene/community look like? I used to be a part of a high profile raiding guild on The Swiftsure before 1.2 hit and I ended up quitting until now. What's PvE look like? Whose got more going on Pubs or Imps? Same with PvP, is the server balanced? Does one side dominate the other? Is there a ranked WZ scene here? I would like to stay here since my legacy is here but I don't know anything about the server. Thanks!

    cross server WZ

They already said cross server WZ is coming for rated. Normal ques will never be cross server.
  4. OP is clearly a PvE carebare. That is the only way I can explain the OPs post.
  5. There is a lot of really bad logic in this post. For one, assuming PvP players want ridiculous gateways into PvP (grinding out gear against already geared players) is just insane. Any real PvPer would rather have everyone in the same gear so the skilled players actually stand out because of their skill and not their shiny gear advantage. Secondly, you assume BioWare is changing the way gear is obtained because of whining on the forums about how hard it is to get gear. This is silly, BioWare had planned this implementation before release, the current state of PvP isn't what they wanted in the first place, 1.2 is much closer to their goal. Also, no one was complaining about how hard gear was to obtain because it required any kind of skill, effort, or time. They complained because it was based off a bag system that was 100% random, which is an awful way of doing gear. BioWare has been steadily addressing the problem since release and in 1.2 is eliminating any sort of randomness to gearing in PvP. Thirdly, the only gear available for credits is a starter set that will allow people to be competitive once they hit 50 against other level 50s. It's a huge problem right now, in order to get PvP gear you need to PvP however if you que up with 12k HP people get extremely upset at you and you can't compete against other level 50s because you get royally stomped due to lack of gear. It only makes sense to give people a readily available option to bring themselves up to acceptable levels in order to obtain the higher end gear. And lastly, your last nugget of wisdom, removing expertise. Expertise at least allows BioWare to differentiate PvE and PvP gear. You complain in the entire post about people jumping into PvP without having to PvP and than you drop this little bomb. Whats to stop my full Rakata sentinel from never stepping into PvP, getting full Rakata, and than stomping everyone because I have the best gear possible? Expertise is the answer to that question right now, removing expertise will just make PvE the easiest gear progression for PvP. It makes literally 0 sense.

    Battlemaster Bag

The solution already exists, 1.2 will be removing the bag system entirely. I can understand people quitting over it, it's utterly frustrating and completely moronic (sometimes BW just makes me facepalm with what they thought was acceptable) but at least they realize this and have communicated out how they are planning on changing it. That's enough to make me tough it out for now at least.
  7. Arenas are the worst thing that could ever be implemented in to this game.
  8. You really need to re-think your idea of good DPS. Any GOOD DPS can kill a healer or at least make the completely ineffective without help from their team with peels. Any 2 GOOD DPS can destroy a healer in under 10 seconds. The only thing I see in this thread is "Whine whine whine, I'm really bad and don't know how to coordinate with my team to take down healers so I'm going to cry about it on the forums". Get some perspective, learn how to handle healers, and you'll be fine.
  9. I want prestige, that's what PvP has ALWAYS been about. Gear means nothing, gear has meant nothing for a long time. Back when gear mattered it was HARD to get and only came with a lot of time AND skill. That was YEARS upon YEARS ago. Gear is a PvE achievement. For PvP it's all about people knowing who you are, how good you are, and respecing that. That's what it has always been about, not gear. People can know how good I am based on my very visual rating and TITLE. That is good enough and will be good enough. I don't need an advantage over everyone I play just so I can GET the title, in fact that doesn't even make sense. Why would I want people to say that I only got where I am because I have a lot of time on my hands, or talk about how much it doesn't matter because it requires not skill to get where I am. TL;DR PvP is about prestige, not about gear. People have just gotten confused over time and forgotten that and turned Gear into prestige. Give people a way to have that prestige without gear (IE Titles/Rating) and the gear won't matter anymore.
  10. As long as the 1 handed lazy man doesn't have the same title as me I'm cool with it. I'm still going to destroy him in PvP.
  11. Actually PvE gear has more HP. Also, your argument is awful. If the difference between BM gear and Centurion gear was 2% hp and only 2% hp this thread wouldn't even exist.
  12. This is exactly the truth. Anyone who disagrees with this is clearly a crybaby.
  13. I've seen no conclusive evidence anywhere that this ability is being used offensively. In fact the design around the ability makes it incredibly silly to use offensively. It's designed, and is uses, to be a defensive cooldown when you are at very low health to keep from dying for a few seconds. If you use it at full health you are just gimping yourself...in fact here is no point. The reason Paladin Bubble was nerfed wasn't because they could do damage while bubbled but because they couldn't be CC'd and that is what made it OP. This does not translate AT ALL to this game. In this game you can still be CC'd.
  14. Was there a reason that you need a separate better set of gear than everyone else to win? Oh...I get it.
  15. Well, I wish my Nightmare run last night had dropped some than....oh wait.
