  1. There's only a few things I liked from KOTFE. First, cutscene camera work. It actually moves! Well it did slightly with the beginning of SoR, but this was an improvement. Second, the Alliance. I felt this should have been aimed for the Republic or war vets, non-Imperial. Instead of Zakuul ever showing up, the Sith Empire should have surprised everyone, wiping out most of the Jedi and the Republic and taking full control of the galaxy. Isn't Star Wars about good vs evil? How could the great Sith Empire let this happen?
  2. I already play that, it's my main game Just wish Star Wars had a more sandboxy feel
  3. They did try a Clone Wars game, Clone Wars Adventures, but it was a browser MMO aimed for kids and didn't last long. I'd totally be down for a Clone Wars/Rebels style MMO, one where you can level everything on one character (Looking at you, SWTOR, and your one-character one-class system), but make the Force-user content or lightsabers hard to get. Seriously, unlock that path at 50 or something, I feel spoiled getting to be a Jedi/Sith right away here.
  4. It's making a lot of money because of the cartel market. Take that away and the income will surely drop. That's not a good sign. I love Star Wars, I love the game, but I hate how it's being handled.
  5. I noticed it too. Gonna take some time to get used to, but at least they look nicer than thick glowing blobs.
  6. If the game is relying on the cartel packs to survive? Yes, it's dying. It's on life support. Take the packs away, remove a lot of the F2P restrictions (specifically ability bar cap, credit cap, and small QoL features like Hide Helmet), keep the sub option and see what happens. If the devs can't afford to keep it running after that? Then something is clearly wrong and needs to change within the game.
  7. Gambling on cartel packs (I know it's not the right word but it sure as hell feels like it) is getting to a point where enough is enough. Each pack that comes out people are wasting more and more money to get even one item, why not just make things direct again? Sure, you can buy them on GTN for a hefty price, but someone has still spent all that money to be able to sell it in the first place. If the packs are what's keeping this game alive, just pull the plug. If you make everything purchasable directly, whether it's ingame credits or cartel coins, pretty sure you'd gain the trust back of customers and earn the same amount as you did before, maybe even more. Isn't this supposed to be a game? We want an item, we buy it or play for it. No one wants to throw money away at chances.
  8. They're not really as active as the main hubs though, I just mean will 60+s in the expansion, since they are in the future, get one for them? Unless we find out in the story that the fleets are still there in the story, it won't make sense mixing old and new content.
  9. It's probably been asked before but I'll give it a try, too. As the title says, will there be a new hub much like the Republic and Imperial fleets for the expansion? If they've both fallen and the Outlander needs to build an alliance, they're gonna need a base of operations, right? Some possible potential to have both factions in one fleet where we can still access pre-60 content such as mission boards. I mean it could work. We already have cross-faction accessible GTNs on Nar Shaddaa, Rishi and beyond are pretty much the same story for both factions. And with the time jump it wouldn't really make sense to unfreeze and fly back to the fleet (good question, what happens to our ships?). Just seeing a lot of possible potential.
  10. This. I liked SWTOR when it first came out, but after Rebels and the announcement of Battlefront I started to miss things from the trilogies. It's a more familiar world that we grew up with. Now when I look at SWTOR it's just army of Jedi vs army of Sith, everything being "oooh so dark". Besides I want to be able to shoot tie fighters from a turret while someone flies the ship, someone running around inside doing repairs, don't you?
  11. Well, I enjoyed it. I wasn't a big fan of the EU anyway apart from the games. People can whine and say "Starkiller lead the rebellion! That Jedi in the trailer is supposed to be dead!" Meh. We needed fresh faces. It felt like I was watching A New Hope for the first time again, and in a way it's a way of saying goodbye to the prequels and Clone Wars. I'm looking forward to more episodes either way.
  12. It says you need to refer a friend with the following form and they need to buy it etc for you to get the speeder. Well I referred him to one of the weekend trials a few weeks ago, he bought the game too. Does this mean I won't be able to get the new speeder or would it have to be from today? And would we both get the speeder? EDIT: If you can receive the speeder by doing the above, I haven't received mine, how long would it usually take?
  13. I heard a while ago they were announcing two Lucasarts games at E3 this year, one of them being the Wii-U MMO and the other unannounced. Though the project title does hint at Boba Fett, I hope it's BF3 or another Bounty Hunter game. But I have a bad feeling it's going to be Force Unleashed 3, since they shoved Boba in 2 and there's a chance he'll appear in a sequel.
  14. I just started playing it again, using the MovieBattles II mod. Though I did RP on it for 4 years, was thinking of starting another community but it's a dying game. Such a shame.
  15. Guys, just watch Plinkett''s review of the prequal trilogy. It'll open your eyes. DONT FOLLOW DOWN THE PREQUAL PATH!!
