  1. OEM-37 & RPM-13: Too many required and too restricted availability.
  2. The subject of this thread is that Supreme Decurion isn't always better, although it should be, given that it's supposedly blue quality. Frequently it seems, from the Supreme Decurion 324 / 326 armour items I've managed to get so far that they're worse in terms of mastery & defense.
  3. Skill and Effort are not the same thing; my ideal would be a system that allows skilled players to get the highest level gear quicker by doing the hardest content but also allows everyone else to get to the same gear level slower (maybe much slower) by doing more content (maybe much more content) than a skilled player needs to. Locking gear (anything) away behind walls is just elitist kak and I'm sad to see it's return to this game.
  4. Managed to get the first Supreme (Blue) 324 armour drops (middle group of 7 on Char sheet) for my Shadow Kinetic Combat Tank and overall found the stats to be worse than the Elite (Green) 324 I'm currently wearing... 324 Green Duelist Legs & Chest stats: 1037 Mast, 1257 End, 521 Shld, 760 Def 324 Blue Duelist Legs & Chest stats: 980 Mast, 1367 End, 521 Shld, 684 Def 326 Blue Duelist Legs & Chest stats: 1011 Mast, 1396 End, 532 Shld, 699 Def ... higher level armours now have worse Mastery & Defense, a marginal Shield increase at rating 326, and only increased endurance over green 326 armours, which just isn't right.
  5. If I delete certain characters from my account will I lose knowledge of any datacrons or once earned does it stay with the account no matter which or how many characters are deleted? Thanks
  6. Have to agree, with the OP, about PvP whiners driving the changes to PvE, personally I'd be over the moon if you got PvP specific servers with your own rule set where you could whine, balance and nerf yourselves into non-existence without bothering the rest of us!
  7. Agreed, bugged this when the Yavin 4 SH came out, simple fix you'd think to change 4 to 5 or now 6, possibly too simple though.
  8. Having got back to Iokath have to say I was / am really disappointed that the story line offered only the same old bi-polar choices of Empire or Republic, failing to offer a third choice and choosing to ignore the role I felt the previous chapter gave the alliance i.e. that of peace-keeper.
  9. But maybe, inadvertently, he's hinted at a possible way to get them to listen, that word LICENSE. BW / EA obviously think they can weather all the bad press about their handling of this game, but who hands out the license, is it Disney now? If it is then maybe we're posting our dissatisfaction with BW's / EA's customer focus in the wrong place, maybe we should be posting it on a Disney Star Wars forum, because they will surely not want their product tarred with the incompetence shown here.
  10. The card I use to pay my sub has to be updated at the end of January. I don't do GSF or PvP so as far as GC levelling is concerned I'm screwed because of the reward imbalances. The guilds I'm in on Red Eclipse and Progenitor are evaporating and OPS are nearly impossible to get people for. The reward system for GC needs major, life saving, game saving, surgery and the tweaks announced for 5.1 aren't it, percentage unassembled token drops on preceding bosses aren't it and the missed opportunity to bring in legacy wide GC isn't it. I've already re-sub'd for both LotRO and ESO, so unless there's a change of heart from the top of this game and preferably management, most likely, I won't be updating my card details.
  11. I don't buy them anymore because of the current situation in the game, if the RNG system goes or is sorted to people's satisfaction and the game becomes more active I'll think about it, until then I see little point in throwing good money after bad.
  12. A pure RNG system surely means that there is a chance of never getting any set pieces, never getting 6 set pieces, or never getting set pieces within the tolerance of the player. So... Have BW made an assessment of how many command crates the average player will open without finding a set piece before quitting the game? Similarly have they made an assessment of how long a partially geared player will wait to complete a set? If they have, are there mitigation processes in place that will ensure set pieces are included in a command crate before these assessed limit are reached? If the answer to these questions is no, then I fear for the game's future as tanks, healers and DPS all have a chance of never getting geared or never getting fully geared before their tolerance level is reached and they leave. Additionally, in the game, are there any hidden character stats that deal with luck that would affect crate content? If there are these can’t now remain hidden from players and must be opened to inspection.
