  1. I realize that... I'm just saying.. why waste time trying to get that gear now and pvp so much just to get it (for those that don't have it already), when you can get it easier in 1.2
  2. From what I see, a better trade in for warzone comms and such, which makes it easier for people to get Battlemaster Gear (and not need a valor rank to wear it!) Is it even worth trying to get this gear now or should I just stop pvp'ing until 1.2?
  3. Best answers can be found here http://dulfy.net/2012/03/22/pvp-gearing-in-1-2/
  4. I always say this about the game "People are not satisified because a lightsaber is not coming out through their screen for real and cutting stuff up around in their house. Maybe if that were to happen, they might get interested cause that's clearly what they EXPECT" LOL But yes, so much to do. For the most part, I am able to play 4 hours a night. I work a 8-10 hour job, play ice hockey and just have a good social real life but still find time to play this game casually.Every once in a while, I can play this game for 8 hours in a day and to be honest, find it tiresome! Can't understand how some can do it 12+ hours a day! By the way, with my level 50, I also have a level 25 and 14 level 5-10 characters! Definitely no lack of content in this game!
  5. No problem! I had to read twice at what you said but then saw you were corrected. Apologize for the wall of text. I tried to seperate them every 2-3 sentences so people can read...
  6. You have all companions maxed out?! Through all EIGHT classes? I find it hard to believe.
  7. Hardly! Been playing MMOs since 2006... while only two of them (both SWG and WoW), this is my third one. Now, be gone troll...
  8. So after about a month and a half, I hit level 50 on one of my characters. Yes, it took me a month in a half. If I did not focus on other characters, I might have done it within a month but this is all with what I consider "casual" gameplay (aka, play when I have free time). When I hit 50, I was at the previous planet before the last one for my class quest and have already been diverted for a bonus series on another planet. But after looking at this forum, I have to ask just how in the HECK are people "bored" and say there is "nothing to do" after they reach 50? There is soooo much to do, even after you hit 50. Let me give you guys some ideas: 1.) Did you even finish your class quest at 50 or did you finish it before 50? If you finished it before 50, go ahead and finish up the story. Don't just stop at 50 and say "Oh great, I'm 50.. now what do I do? I don't want to keep questing". Even do the side bonus quests for each quest you have. It will help you gain Legacy XP for later on! 2.) How about all the quests you have left in your quest journal? Maybe you should consider clearing them out before you say your "bored" and there is "nothing to do". Even some of the easier quests... you never know what they may offer in a reward. 3.) Do you seriously have ALL the high end gear for end game? Probably not. How about start grinding up those high end comms to get the gear. This will surely take a while to do with PvP and Dailies. 4.) How about your companions? They ALL have stories too, you know? It's almost literally impossible that you have reached 50 and did ALL your companions stories to max level affection! I'm interested in their stories too, you know! 5.) What's your social level? Mine is 1. I really would like to eventually get to IV or V but I know that's not going to happen over night... So go ahead and farm a Flashpoint with a full group or help others out on Heroics. More than likely, you are Social level III.. unless of course, you leveled with 4 different players at the same time from 12am-12am EVERY day since the game came out. There is some really cool High Level Social Gear, you know! 6.) What do your guildies need? Help with Flashpoints? Heroics? How about getting any level 50s in your guild and do the end game Operations together? Or even just lending a guildie a helping hand on one of their quests at later levels, so they can catch up quicker. Heck, even at earlier levels. They may take a hit on xp but they will get there sooner or later to level 50. Maybe there is even a Flashoinbt you forgot to do! 7.) Did you find EVERY datacron on EVERY planet you can visit? If not, go back and do this! Lots of them are frustrating to retrieve, so it may take a couple hours out of your gameplay time to figure out the strategy to retrieve these! 8.) Space! While space isn't the best in this game, there are lots of space missions. Go ahead, and do them. You may actually find them fun to do and may get into a whole different game in SWTOR. 9.) Alts: You're bored? Did you start an alt? Go ahead and do so! There are EIGHT different stories in this game (actually, there might be sixteen different stories, depending if you go light side or dark side for each class.. I'm not even so sure myself). Get all your alts to 50, finish their stories, finish their companion's stories, have them readily available for their needs to your guildies and friends! Do this for both Republic and Empire! It will surely take you longer than that 2 weeks it took you to get "bored". 10.) Crew skills: If you have alts, get yourself all the various crew skills for each alt. I believe, you can do so with 6 different alts and there also looks to be some random crew skills that are not "needed" towards the main ones. Do these, and max them all out! It may cost you a few credits to do it, but it will be worth it (despite people saying crew skills are worthless now, have them maxed out for later on when they matter). Heck, you may even find yourself more interested in taking that toon towards the story. 11.) Codex: Have you discovered everything in the Codex?! Maybe it's time you go back to planets and discover all you can in the Codex. For me, personally, I would be very interested in the exploring. Finding Lore Objects, getting the beast entries, doing all the datacrons, getting whatever titles I can, etc. 12.) World Bosses: How about the World Bosses? Even if you decided to take them down "as you went along" with your class quests, maybe you can go back and get a group together or become part of a random group and try them again! They could possibly drop different/random rewards that you have not seen yet! 13.) Companion Gear: If you have all the high end gear for yourself, then great! You're already ahead of the game then! But what about your companions? I'm not even sure what use they have for end game, but I think it would be quite cool if you showed them some love and geared them up as high as possible! After all, you and your companion may have been through a lot during your class quest. They deserve that end game gear too! (please note: I am *not* suggesting that you roll "Need" on group quests for your companions) 14.) Valor: Not everyone was fortunate enough to gain max level Valor during that period where people were able to farm Valor due to an Illum bug. Go out there, PvP as much as you can, get your Valor points and max it out! Do this, for each of your characters! 15.) Dailies/Weekly: Finally, but definitely not last, go and do your Dailies and Weekly missions. Do the Flashpoints, HM Flashpoints, PvP Warzones, Illum PvP Zone and Operations! Plus whatever else is offered! This alone will definitely keep you busy! There ya have it, my guide to the 15 things you can do to cure your boredom in this game. (Waiting on forum trolls to come in with some retort now) P.S. If you're a DD Edition or CE, check out all the call things you can also get for end game or save up to buy yourself!
  9. Not sure if this has ever been brought up, but myself and a lot of guildies of mine are always confused as to what Flashpoint each Flashpoint Courier gives you a mission for. It's a great idea, especially since they are off planet and near a Republic Fleet Shuttle Term... but having them tell you which you are taking the quest for OR giving you an option of which one to take, is better. I do realize once you click it and get the quest, you know what it is but definitely would be easier to have it displayed on the NPC so you know BEFOREHAND
  10. Created a bunch of alts in the beginning and started to mail them items that I wanted to use for them later on. About 3-4 of these alts, I have not logged on with since I created them. Now.. instead of the items just sitting in their mailbox for later, they have mailed me back the items!! WHAT?! WHY?!
  11. Doesn't matter if it's a known bug.. it should be addressed and fixed
  12. What's up with this one?! I'm invited to a group by someone on another planet. I go to my ship, go to try and help them and I can't travel from my ship unless I disband the group. By the way, this does not just happen to me. Happening to everyone in my guild and everyone else I know in game.
  13. Also, once you get an NPC down.. the one of them ALWAYS disappears through the floor and then when you go to attack what looks like the loan one... the one that fell through the floor ATTACKS YOU!! FIX THIS NOW!!!!
  14. After you defeate them, after a couple of fail of attempts to get the others down... they keep respawning. Please fix this... myself and others have reported this many times in game and I am posting about it once AGAIN on the forums. This needs to be addressed, as people have spent 2 days trying to advance their class quest and can't because of these respawns
  15. Did they detain my companion in customs or something? Quite annoying to have to recall your companion again. What's the reason for this?! Yet another annoyance that should be fixed.
  16. And let me add to this list... One of these "strong" mobs (Sith Reaver I believe) has an area attack. If you watch the ground, it's easy to get away from the targetted area. Unfortunately, the area attack spreads out a very very good distance outside of the targetted area. If I am outside of the targetted area, I should not be getting attacked by his AOE
  17. Also, in this particular class quest.. there is a station you click on that helps reduce the damage you take from the NPCs. I seriously do NOT think this portion is working. Unfortunately, without a combat log, I cannot verify this.
  18. Title says it all! What is up with both of these? Before anyone else asks.. I am NOT using an AOE and the enemy is still breaking the CC (strong mob in class quest) Ironically enough, same strong mob... after defeating just one of the mobs in a strong mob of 3.. seems to repawn itself after about 10 minutes. BTW these class quests are more like Heroic 2+ in later levels
  19. I was NEVER disconnected prior to the last patch. All of the sudden, after the last patch, I get disconnected once a day.
  20. Before a week and a half ago, I never got this much lag. I have not changed ANYTHING on my settings or my hardware. PC is completly untouched other than running SWTOR every day. So, what... has BW put in the background to cause this? Also noticed I get a disconeected every day from this game... hmm... and before anyone asks, it is NOT my ISP. The connections have been fine.
  21. Seems like an issue. Let's say I am in a group of 3 and call out my companion to serve as a 4th member. My inventory is full, so I want to send him (or her or it) on their merry way to sell my trash items in inventory. Well, I select sell trash items, timer goes down and... NOTHING. Companion just stands there and looks at me like I'm speaking Jawa.
  22. Extracting the Scientist on Quesh -- Trying to take down Captain Jesh as a Counslar is hard enough. However, his Imperial Assembly Droids tend to respawn in the story area around him after a couple of failed attempt taking him down (when I already took down his droids). Is this intended? If not, it needs to be addresed. I shouldn't have to destroy droids in my story area that I already destroyed. I don't mind the challenge but this difficulty is getting out of hand now because of this respawn and it is making this quest a LOT longer than it needs to be....
  23. 6 accounts?! That right there, is the kind of reason WHY they should either allow it or tell us how to do it if it's an option (whether it's modding a config file or what have you). I am sure you are not the only one.
  24. You know.. you buy a second copy of the game and have a second account, that is paid for. You want to play the game with your main account and second account at the same time (level at the same time). Has anyone tried to do this and know how to do this? I remember in SWG days, you just had to modify a file and it will launch two instances of the game. Is that possible with SWTOR?
  25. Interesting.. thanks for explaination. First time I ever heard that term and I've played through TWO MMOs (SWG & LOTRO). GO figure.
