  1. Bounty hunters are not a part of the Empire, and thus are not a part of the Imperial ranking system, which means, they work after a agreement between two people 'You do that, you get this' Note how everyone in the empire do uphold their part of the agreement, scaredy cats. Bounty hunters are being hired to get a job done, does not make them a part of the whole society, which makes them very lethal, you never know where their loyalty lies. Some do follow a code though, others do not. Bounty Hunters only work for the Empire, because the Empire are the only ones who tend to put on a bounty on someone elses head, and a bounty hunters speciality is simply to kill, Jedi, Sith anyone. They are a lethal weapon that can be used against the Empire, against the Republic, against the common man, hired by the Empire, hired by the Republic or hired by the common man. That bioware decides to make the Bounty Hunter empire exclusive, does not change the fact above. The Bounty Hunter is working for the Sith, the Empire, anyone who offers money to get rid of people. So dude, you work for the Sith and the Empire... and the darned Republic if they ever hire you
  2. Well, there is Guild Wars 2 aswell you know. The game is too far into development to just be cancelled like that. There is also Tera and that Secret World. SWTOR is not the 'big thing' seriously Anyway, it will succeed, just not with me being around in it. I paid for the game, a preorder, so EA and Bioware can keep those money, but I cancelled my sub, as I got a very deep interest in Guild Wars 2, when I found out Jeremy Soule was going to add music to it. And that man is a genius when it comes to music for fantasy games. SWTOR is great, and Bioware just needs a little time to fix the bugs and become a little more experienced with MMO's as a whole. It was a fun week, but it did not please me as I did hope it would.
  3. The game is where it should be It has challenges at some points, and are easy at others, it is fair.
  4. The lightning did not directly kill Vader. The Lightning destroyed what was keeping Vader alive, and thus Vader was killed as his suit malfunctionated.
  5. It was stated that Bioware disabled chat bubbles in the beta because they wanted to work on them so it could get in at LAUNCH. Launch means 20th December... Tomorrow people, tomorrow we will see, and then you can complain
  6. I am actually experiencing the same problem. I do not feel completely entertained. Sure it was fun for two days, but then I kinda got tired of it. The only thing that keeps me entertained, are the class stories, but I need to get higher levels to experience those, which means I have to go through a ton of other quests with not as interesting stories. I like the flashpoints, but the community as a whole is just too slow about it. I don't mind having them listen to conversations, peace with that. But seriously, finding their way to the flashpoint, taking 10-20 minutes before they can meet up at the flashpoint, not knowing where the hell to go within the flashpoint. And the boss fights. They are challenging, but not something hardcore, seriously it cannot be hard to figure out, that you do not stand in the enemies AoE cast, it is obiviously something very dangerous, check your health. The two first days I was excited, I gathering four men for every flashpoint I did, for every group quest, even those that only required 2, just because I loved it. I slowly noticed that more and more slow thinkin people got in, and I started to get annoyed, it was painful and it shreds me inside, but I held the posture and hushed at them in a friendly tone of course But I will not blame the game at all. The game itself is outstanding, the questing ARE linear, there is no run around this, but that is not a bad thing, most games have it one way or another "You gotta be between this and this level to quest here, you can still travel here, but we do recommend you not to before reaching these levels" Anyway, I may just be tired of gaming as a whole, there is a time where we all may have to admit this fact. Games doesn't keep me entertained, and I am easier annoyed by communities in MMORPG's. Yup, I gotta be a "retiring" gamer.
  7. There is PvE and PvP servers where there are no quenues at all, but we have long quenues on RP servers. It is a shame indeed, and it may be that huge amount of people with no interest in RP at all, but who just wants to hang around in a "nicer" community, that causes these quenues, or it is maybe just that many more people got interested in RP because of Biowares style - we wouldn't know. If it is the very first option is rather disrespectful, as there seem to be a lot more RP'ers who are very interested in getting on the server. But we gotta welcome people with open arms
  8. This mindset is still terrible you know. "I paid more for the game, I should get more, because I am a better customer" You paid for a few extra items, you knew this, you should accept this. It does not scale, it wasn't promised, so there is nothing to complain about, the rest of these items? You only have yourself to blame. Digital can be useful for others. The collectors editioner people didn't pay more than the rest of us for the game, they paid more to get a statue and a few other vanity items. Nothing is useless, you just thought you would get more
