Basically I couldn't resist the following sentence... Games down set expectations, players do. End of discussion. No Game by default competes with any other game, unless the developers intended it that way... See Rift Vs WoW...

inference: the process of arriving at some conclusion that, though it is not logically derivable from the assumed premises, possesses some degree of probability relative to the premises. I inferred what I said, it does not tarnish my credibility in the slightest. However, I would like to say. Stop trolling.

If that's how you want to view it that's your choice, and I understand your point of view. I find the game worth its $15 a month. I view it as a Story-Based MMO. Not a Single Player Game with group features. That is because I knew what to expect going in, as well as the fact that I'm ready for the change from WoW's formula. You are not ready for the formula to change, you want to play WoW. Deep down inside you do, you just want it to not be WoW. You want it to be some other setting, some other skin, but you want to play WoW. That is not bad, it's not even meant to be a stab at you. It's simply the facts. Based on your posts, it is clear that you want a re-skinned version of WoW to play. I hope you find that, maybe in time you'll find that here.

The fact of the matter is that World of Warcraft and Star Wars: The Old Republic are both Massively Multiplayer Games... Which is 100% true, but they are fundamentally different sub-genres. MMO Grindfest Basically Any Perfect World Game Ever Made Competitive Player vs Player Only Guild Wars Ultima Online PVE/PVP/End-Game Competitive Scene Everquest World of Warcraft Story Based SW:ToR So... To use the car example thats used a lot, if you manufacture Cars... Your not going to attempt to get all the features of a SUV in it, because they aren't needed or take away from the features you NEED to have. The fact of the matter is that players who came to SW:ToR were not prepared to switch Sub-Genre's as well. They just wanted to play the next big PVE/PVP/End-Game Competitive Scene game, they weren't prepared to play a Story Based game, and in their ignorance of the fact they decided to yell about SW:ToR not meeting WoW's features. The flaw in the logic is assuming that it wasn't intentional, and that BioWare is incompetent. Which is simply not true, leaving out features from another sub-genre was intentional, this new sub-genre is NOT the next WoW. It's a game in a different sub-genre of MMO.

There isn't ANY information on the legacy system, that I can find. All I know that is Factual is... End of Act 1 you pick a name, all characters on that server share the same legacy and get experience in it.

Your opinion, while interesting, is irrelevant. -

Final Bump for Feedback, then I gotta go flesh out the story -
As far as I UNDERSTAND, your Mods determine ALL stats on Orange Gear. So as long as your mods are up to date, then you're gear is up to date.

Thanks for the feedback, you most definitely make some valid points, I will work on a way to make those make more sense. I'm glad the storyline isn't that retardedly farfetched. I will keep working at it to improve it further, thanks so much again for your input. I'd also accept any other input from anyone else willing to give it. More can't hurt. -

In SWTOR the "Real" Game starts at level 1
PerpetualGamer replied to Klarick's topic in General Discussion
I absolutely love the story and cut scenes... Pause for Effect... For Class Quests, and maybe some of the planet wide side quests. Everything else is tripe, garbage written to hold up te promise of a fully voiced MMO. They would lose NO Fans, or awesomeness by making side quests, EXACTLY like WoW. and Class Quests fully VO and Cutscenes. I dont want 5 minutes of dialogue to explain why I need to get 5 bombs and put them on 5 corpses. I dont give a flying ****, however you better damn believe I care why tarro blood wont just **** off! I'm looking right at you Tarro, you smug piece of crap.
