  1. Note to those looking for SDCC and Gamescon: You're too late, there is a time limit on all of these, and it has passed for everything but NYCC and PAX
  2. can't promise my PAX is still good but feel free to try: PAX http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/ama02 NYCC http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/ama03
  3. Gamescon: http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/ama01 SDCC: http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/ama00
  4. Don't really care about the venue, just sooo glad you're coming here at all. Can't say how much I'm looking forward to this! and p.s., great half-birthday present for me, you guys are so kind and generous
  5. I told you. Because you haven't taken damage, nor has the companion, nor have you told them to -- just like with every other companion. Try it with any other class -- don't attack, don't take damage, your companion will not protect your group mates. They're your companions, not your teammates'. They signed on to fight alongside you, not these other people you randomly met.
  6. It's an issue with the animation loop. Balloon goes * from pickup * to dropoff * to pickup * to dropoff * to pickup * to ... alllllllmost to the dropoff * and resets at the pickup. [not certain about how many full trips it makes before the reset, but from my observations, this seems right] Without hanging aorund Tatooine for quite a while, or having regular reports from others in the dune sea prior to your ride, I don't see any way of telling where you are in the cycle until the balloon ... you know ... "poof"s.
  7. Having played a sage, a sorcerer, and several others, ... I'm not sure what the problem is here. Khem and Qyzen's ai operates no differently than T7's or Vette's or even that lughead with the trigger-happy harpoon, Corso. Are we talking solo play, group, or are you having this problem in both? The basics are that by default your cpompanion does not attack unless you attack or are attacked. If you take damage, the companion will (unless on passive i.e. ctrl-2) attack the mb who attacked you [and then proceed to any/all mobs that subsequently attack you or the companion for engaging their 'group-mates'] This is true for all of them, in solo and groups. In groups, your companion does not attack mobs damaging your group mates by default; they must damage you, the companion, or have you issue an attack command [ctrl-1] Is your issue/experience something different than described? Because otherwise, that's just comapnion ai in general, not healer/khem/qyzen specific heh, I know the frustration. Seems so obvious to meI keep expecting it to be in the ai -- if you're in a targeted aoe spot ... move. ah well. for me not a biggie, nut I feel your pain.
