  1. That is why there are heuristics and design guidelines to follow. The new UI frames are inconsistent with the game style, difficult to learn how to use, terrible to look at (even after a few days playing with it) and almost completely ignored accessibility. I do like changes that make sense and improve the product and the overall user experience of it. But if there is a reason for these new UI design I don't get it. I'm avoiding interact with the new UI frames as much as possible while playing since the "expansion" was released.
  2. The error is no longer happening after I arrived on the fleet.
  3. I've just created a new Smuggler and I can't change Corso's equipment or use the first customization.
  4. I haven't dared touch the new quest and choose a secondary combat style yet.
  5. I had the same problem with my new smuggler.
  6. This new UI is terrible to look at. There isn't any consistence with the game style anymore. Bad user experience design.
  7. The new UI is bad for the user experience - It doesn't match the game style, it's inconsistent, very uncomfortable to look at and difficult to see what is selected (example: the ability tree). I understand updates come with some bugs. I even understand little bits of story from now and them. But it's hard to justify a product to be delivered looking like an early beta version and a lot of already known bugs and problems. It's sad.
  8. I'm sure you would, but ... Which ways? What are you ideas? How would you implement these ideas with the resources available? Will everybody like and support your ideas? How much extra time, infrastructure, money, people will be needed? Can you have it?
  9. I agree that recycling old content as a end game solution is not ideal, it is not as much fun anymore and they should rethink and improve the current GC system. But, what would you do instead if you were running the show and you don't have enough resources to bring really new content as fast as your player base demands?
  10. I clearly remember reading the same think last expansion, but the doomsday weapon that would colapse the game for good was level sync. But we still here, still playing the game and still getting new content.
  11. Perhaps players are demanding much more content (in any format) than they can possibly provide with the available resources...
  12. The development team works with metrics and feedback, but mostly metrics I believe; and it is quite common metrics show a different scenario than people perceive. I see some people complaining in name of the entire player base but I've seen a lot of people just playing the game and enjoying. I can only talk for myself: I'm enjoying KotET, it works for my play-style and I'm looking forward where the story will take us. But no, I don't think it is all flowers, they have a lot of stuff to fix from vanilla to KotET.
