  1. I think Bioware should really look into an Offline mode and sell the story chapters as a season pass. Sell each season for I don't know $25-$30. I love the story in this game from levels 1-50 and 60-70. The problem is this game went from being an MMORPG to a cooperative online RPG. There is little to no new group content. I would rather prefer to give them money for an expansion and just play the installments offline at my own leisure (rather than subbing to get all the little perks such as hotbars and hide helmet...), since there is no more group play in mind in development. I mean honestly whats the point in playing a MMO if the majority of it is solo. When this game launched it was so much fun playing stories with other people. The Flashpoints and the different dialogue options I loved the roll of the dice to see who got to talk and where it took us based off their or my decision. That's gone now. There have been no word on new raids and it seems there are no current plans to make them either. Please sign if you agree and would like an offline version to play the story for a purchase fee. Thanks.
  2. 50ish something days left between the removal of channeled skills like death from above and rng boxes. I have not even logged in since the 1st
  3. who cares about mobility.... this is not an action combat mmo. Its click rng. Ranged attacks will hit you the damn auto attacks the lasers follow you. there's the few instances where you need to get out of the stupid and that's it. They ruining amazing skills such as death from above, ravage, flamethrower. So something that was just not needed.
  4. A game is more than just numbers. Take away fun and interesting aspects why bother? I want to play a Sith/Jedi and feel epic not press 12345 on my keyboard. I want to fly into the air and lay waste to the ground below on my Bounty Hunter and enjoy the experience not just blinding pressing 12345.
  5. Hello Please sign if you would like the option to bring back channeled skills. Such as: Ravage Flamethower Death from Above 5.0 removed these skills with uninteresting poorly animated replacements. While the new skills are in fact a buff it removes a fun element to the game that made the classes feel unique and epic.
  6. I hate this change. I honestly don't even feel like playing the game anymore. The worst part is I don't even understand why. "It adds mobility" for what? Raids? Last time I checked there are no new raids nor are they planning on adding any. The loss of the channel abilities suck. They added an epic feel to the classes. Ravage, Flamethrower. Been subbed since launch I know it might seem silly and dumb to others but this actually makes me want to call it quits. I think I am done. The channel abilities were in the simplest of terms fun and added something unique to the classes. If the plan is to replace fun for a more simple approach as turning an ability such as Ravage into another boring swing I'm just done. Way to take a good thing after 5 years and ruin it.
  7. More Importantly out of the Paragraph. Repetition is what MMOs are. Doing the same thing, whether is dailies, raids, flashpoints(dungeons), and\or crafting. Player housing and guild ships are just one more cog in the endless grind of a MMO.
  8. The use of 'I' 'My' is being used far to much. Its a guild ship you should be using the word 'We' I honestly do not see a valid argument or complaint on the cost of these things. Were talking 5 million credits per guild member if you only have 10 members or even only ten members who want it. Assuming you only have 1 character the dailies alone will net you about 500k for 2 hours of play. Lets do math 1 week = 7 days 2 hours played each day = 14 hours played each week 500k + 2 hours of dailies + 7 days = 3,500,000 credits. So a little under 2 weeks of playing the game for each guildy. OR (if you don't have a lot of time) 2 hours of dailies = 500k Do dailies once a week = 2 million every month. They're not asking 1 player to give over 50 million credits there asking a guild of many players. So please tell me the argument? Is it that your being forced to play the game? Is it that your being forced to play to achieve something? Is it that your being forced to work together with your guild?
  9. So I for one am tired of stripping and re-modding outfits every other week just because I want a new look. For a game that adds new outfits every month it is growing tiresome. My Suggestion. Add Outfit tabs they also go by other names such as Vanity Slots, Cosmetic tabs, Outfit Slots, etc etc. The Idea behind it is to cover up the main stated gear. Example: You have the gear that has all the stats, mods, and enhancements slotted where they currently are now, however, the Cosmetic Tab where you have your dyed and personal look is what is showing on the character. How will or can this help the game? - Bioware can offer 1 free vanity slot to subscribers and charge for more. - Bioware can charge for the slots for a certain amount of Cartel Coins - Helps player economy. Players can have more than one outfit and can switch on the go and how they feel like looking. Leading into more Cartel Purchases also leading to more GTN purchases. - Helps Dye sales in the Cartel Market. - Gives the player more customization towards their character that doesn't effect game play.
  10. Okay lets put the Empire and Republic aside for a few moments, and lets ask ourselves the really important question. Kittens or Puppies? I choose Kittens
  11. I see a lot of that one class I don't remember the name off hand its the one with that weapon though
  12. The option to say "NO" to set quest givers do not exist in this game. In every Bioware game except this one we have had the option of saying no if we did not like or we disagreed with the quest. When saying no we got something else to do instead or just moved on entirely. This would effect the story in some way shape or form. If we say no to a quest in SWTOR the cut-scene exits and the quest is still there. This is biggest Issue with all of the planets in this game. When it comes to questing we should have more options.
  13. I vote for Revy Character Name: Lìara On the Ebon Hawk Server
  14. I agree. I personally find it funny that their reason for not allowing the use dye on these armors is because its lore. I find it funny because they make the outfits for both genders. If they were truly following lore it would be for the correct gender. So, they're sorta being hypocritical.
  15. Yeah, I can see them adding more advance classes to the already existing choices. That way they can change the play style with out having to add more voice actors and add to the worlds. For example: Sith inquisitor and Jedi Consular would be able to choose between 3 advance classes. Sith: Sorc (Dps/heals) | Assassin ( tank/dps) | Beast Controller (dps/protection?) Jedi Sage (Dps/heals) | Shadow (tank/dps) | Beast Master (dps/protection?) With that said I would really love new classes mostly for the story
  16. I find it funny when I see people complaining how undercutting is bad and how its ruining the "fixed market" which is worse than undercutting. I should not be surprised these are the same people who complain when a real company charges $10 for dlc or $60 for a game etc etc
  17. No Shame. I tend to choose gender based on a couple things: - What the armor on the class looks like. - Some games have different animations -etc etc Swtor, however, brought a new variable to the equation. Voices. I tended to pick gender in swtor based off what the voices sounded like. I can play the Female Agent all day. Love her voice
  18. Sorry my and others angry towards this upsets you. I personally find this patch insulting, I have been supporting this game since day 1. Not saying everything should be free but at least make a credit option for subscribers to change there hair this is literally one of the worst f2p issues I have seen that effect subscribers. They are literally nickel-and-diming us. It costs 40 cents to change a characters hair.
  19. yep I agree. Imagine you are subscribe to a magazine and turn the page and it asks for $2 to read the next article or You are subscribed to Netflix's, and want to stream a movie. You pick the movie you want and it asks you for $5 to watch it. These are just some analogies I can think of. Whats the point to subscribing to swtor?
  20. I am fine with them charging money. I have been subbed since the launch of the game. However this update is just one big slap in the face, its rather insulting. I should not have to spend Cartel Coins to change my hair. Until this is fixed to where they will accept credits to change hair style for subscribers, I am not giving them $15 a month anymore. Does anyone else feel the same way? /Signed
  21. I can list a few off the top of my head Rift Aion Global Agenda However, Thank you for your answer, I guess I am unsubbing... I mean why sub I no longer see any benefit.
  22. Please correct me if I am wrong. From what I have read it appears as a subscriber I need to pay cartel points to change my hair...? If this is true then that's very upsetting, since this feature is normally free in every mmo including f2p ones
