  1. Yes, the cursor is still the same pixel size at 1080p, regardless of any system scaling settings I can think of (I *think* I've tried everything). I have just installed the game. The 'repair' option in the launcher is unavailable, meaning it hasn't detected any patching errors. None of my other software exhibits this kind of behaviour.
  2. The cursor's ridiculously small size and its yellow color make it extremely easy to lose track of. I want to play at 4k, but even at 1080p the cursor is just too tiny. It is roughly a quarter of the size of the default Windows cursor, roughly 4 pixels long. I've played this game at launch and I don't recall ever having trouble with the cursor size. So this is probably a bug. Please fix and/or advise on workarounds. Windows 10, 4k screen, no desktop scaling, Nvidia 1080 Ti with latest drivers. https://www.dropbox.com/s/te5duuvo3uwzjyg/cursor.png?dl=0 ^ Screenshot https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ds9brb8gsbovd5/DxDiag.txt?dl=0 ^ DxDiag
  3. Who was the genius that made the cursor 5 pixels across at 4k anyway? Even at plain old 1080p that's much too small. It's a quarter of the size of the default windows cursor for crying out loud! This makes the game unplayable!
  4. ... okay. Thank you for clearing that up. Also thanks Bioware, for wasting hours of my time, making me chase a red herring. Now I'm just curious: why did they do this? Did they conclude it would somehow be more fun to suffer through 15 minutes of running around and waiting for loading screens every time you want to sell or buy an item? Are there plans to get the kiosks back on the planets? Edit: wait, it still doesn't make sense, the messages in that thread are all dated Yesterday. Did they really remove the kiosks just now?
  5. I know there is one on the fleet, I'm asking about the one on Balmorra. In game knowledge base says the kiosks are scattered everywhere. There's even a handy map marker for it. And this thread says there is one. But even with those directions, I can't find it. It would be nice if someone posted the coords.
  6. Where is the Galactic Trade Network kiosk on Balmorra? I've spent hours searching every nook and cranny, but i can't find it
  7. Wait, there's an auction house? Where is it?
  8. If somebody has some stats I'd still be interested, I'm wondering how long my mobile's 1gb data cap would last in case of an (omg-my-internet-is-down-i-gotta-play-swtor-NAO-!!@!) emergency.
  9. Dear Bioware, When Graham Bell invented voice chat in 1876, he must have considered MMOs a major application. Why is it we don't have integrated voice communications in 2011 and must resort to the likes of Ventrilo or TeamSpeak? Yes, bandwidth is expensive, but we'd be more than happy to provide that ourselves: use peer to peer tech. Consider implementing it!
  10. They're probably still sending them out. I already got mine. I wouldn't bother contacting support just yet.
  11. Oh. That makes sense. I assumed it was 2 per level because that's how many I initially got when choosing the advanced class. But because I upgraded at 11, one of them was simply leftover from lv10. Thanks for clearing that up!
  12. Is it possible to lose skill points in the game? Assuming 2 skill points per level (the game never actually tells you, that's how many i got when I first chose the advanced class), at lv12, a character should have: lv10: 2sp lv11: 2sp lv12: 2sp =6 sp. Even assuming I lost 2 points by only choosing an advanced class at lv11, it's still strange that my lv12 character somehow only has 3 total skill points. Am I simply wrong about the skill point mechanics, or is this a bug and I should file a ticket?
  13. Oh, yeah, I was of course assuming you have vsync turned off.
  14. The game is obviously CPU constrained. You can either get nicer CPU or just wait until Bioware optimizes the game some more.
  15. Of course it is!! The objective is to get your initial queue level as high as possible, and keep the combo up as long as you can. If you fail, you drop into that stupid Star Wars-themed multiplayer thingy with the characters and plot and combat as punishment.
