  1. While we shadows/assassins have gotten some cool alternative options such as the Beskar Spear, various Saberpikes, among other tech blades, it feels like we haven't had any new double-bladed lightsabers in quite a while--at least none that that weren't back holstered. I know there are people who like the black holster for their sabers but I know there are quite a few people who don't, yet it feels like that's all we've gotten since Ossus dropped. As much as I would love to see some new designs introduced, I would even be happy just to see some of the more recent back-mounted modules re-released as hip-mounted versions. I imagine it would be a relatively simple adjustment to make, and would easily pull coin in, and it's not all that different from the various armour sets that get minor tweaks or adjustments before being re-released. Also, some new Miraluka coverings would be nice... TL;DR: Re-release copies of the new double-bladed lightsabers (and any new sabers coming up) but with standard holstering options so that players have more choice.
  2. 100% Have quite a few of those early CM armours and it's quite frustrating that I can't reclaim them.
  3. I've also been playing since beta, following it since first announced, etc, etc... And I have to agree with you. It has been a busted game and underperforming ever since launch--I mean how long did it take them to get the legacy system working properly? Granted the game has had some ups, but it has been had a lot more downs. For a time, after watching players leave for greener pastures or just growing too tired of all the failings to keep putting time into it, I hoped the game would die and we could get something new that didn't start behind the 8 ball, but seeing the direction that not only the game itself has taken but also the general attitude of gaming over the past ten years, I don't really think that's likely. I've more or less moved past trying to play this as an MMO, especially after they started working Korean-styled grinding into general progression, and now just use it to fill the niche that is a multiplayer Star Wars game. It scratches the itch, and if I ever want to really sink time into MMO again, well there are alternative games. But there is no point in ever expecting or hoping that it will ever shift into a more content/player focused game.
  4. I've been attempting to download the fansite kit but am unable to get it to download. I fill in my details, accept the terms and conditions and click the save and download button and get the green update ribbon informing that the download should begin shortly but if not click here and all that but, that's it. No download begins, and clicking on the link doesn't work. I'm curious if this is a known issue, if the fansite kit is no longer available, if I'm missing a step, or if there is an alternative method to access the kit. Any information would be appreciated,
  5. I've only recently started getting back into group content and I've started to struggle with this. It has happened perhaps two or three separate times in different Flashpoints, but even with twin cloak, I keep getting tagged back into the fight about a second into rezzing the fallen player. The only reason I feel like something is off is that the first time around, I can stealth, approach the fallen player, and start to rez before being tagged again, but if I then re-stealth and start to rez immediately, I still get tagged at about a second into the cast. That it has happened so uniformly at drastically different times has made it feel less like random bad luck and more like they've added something to FP's to prevent stealth rezzing? Of course, it could be my teammates tagging me without me noticing, maybe I had a stray guard up, maybe there was a mechanic I missed, I've not properly tested it. I've just noticed the past few days whilst playing and when I saw this thread I thought it a good place to get some input. : Edit: I have, like a smart person, just read the previous comments made on this page of the thread and like a smart person, found my answer. The power of reading, kids!
  6. I notice I'm a bit late to the game but I've also just run into this issue today, three separate drops from two different FP's, two shadow shields, and pants. Has there been any word on a fix or work around?
  7. Greetings, While I have been loving the latest additions to the Double-bladed Lightsaber line up, especially with there being a rather sad selection to choose from in the base game, and the recent attempts to play around with holstering on all different types of weapons, I unfortunately can't help but feel like the back holstering for the Double-bladed lightsaber is bit of a swing and a miss. I am of course, aware that some people find this choice quite cool, and that's fine, I have no problem with that, and I might too have felt the same way were the hilts more tilted; however, between the height above the shoulder and the perfectly straight up angle at which they sit, I feel it looks too horribly unnatural when matched with any chest piece that isn't covered in enough, or appropriate, adornment to hide how out of place it looks on a bare back--most commonly found in your average robed attire. It's so disheartening to see these new and awesome designs come out only to realize I can't utilize them without losing the Jedi-like aesthetic I'm trying to maintain. Proposed Solution: Release new versions with the only difference being that their holstering position is the standard hip one. That way, those who enjoy the new holstered position maintain that aspect of their new favorite weapon, while people who love the aesthetic of the weapon but hate the positioning get a new weapon as well. And of course, SWTOR gets to basically make money twice off the same item without having to go to all the trouble of modeling and coding a new weapon from scratch. Regarding hairstyles: I've noticed over the past few releases, that females have been gaining access to most if not all of the new hairstyles offered too male characters, while males have not received the same options in return--this seems especially odd to me given that SWTOR has given several male NPC's scattered throughout some of the new areas, at least one these female hairstyles. Putting aside the rather lack-luster hair options that have been so far made available to male characters since the games launch, and the few good exceptions that either have existed or been introduced, it seems rather pointless to continue to bother segregating the styles this way--most games I've played over the last four to five years that have possessed some sort of character creation, have adopted this freedom of choice approach, and it seems that SWTOR itself has also to some degree--at least when it comes to designing their own background NPC's. Proposed Solution: At least open all cartel market hairstyles to both genders. At most, offer the full range of hairstyles to both genders--either as a Cartel Market purchase or just a retroactive reward for maxing out a character with said race, similar to how unlocking races uses to be (could still quite possibly be) by tying it to hitting max level with one. The appearance customization section in the Cartel Market has been looking rather sad and lonely for quite some time now, this could be a way to breath some life back into it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be willing to drop a reasonable amount of CC on this. And that's all for the most part. If you've reached the bottom, and if you're a dev, I hope you did, then thank you for taking the time to read and consider my thoughts. I would love to see either of these options implemented, I think they both have merit, would benefit everyone and offer a more enjoyable playing experience. TL;DR: Re-release a copies of the new double-bladed lightsabers (and any new sabers coming up) but with standard holstering options so that players have more choice, and also make hairstyles equally accessible to both genders. please and thank you.
  8. I don't really understand why there is a cap in this instance. I assume it's under the banner of not wanting to just hand out large sums of cash to players but given I put just as much effort into gathering crystals as I do credits, especially given that the process for grinding either is pretty much the same, it's hardly free money.
  9. Same, just encountered this myself after the latest patch.
  10. I have been impressed with the variety of worlds you have been introduced since the start of this whole Revan business. As a die hard fan of the original KOTOR games I was thrilled beyond reason to see Manaan return, it was just as pretty as I remember and the Selkath were just as awesome. Unfortunately I became extremely disappointed when it turned out to be nothing more than a flashy extended entrance to the flashpoint. The same happened with Odessen, a beautiful world with a lot of potential and it was reduced to just a mini hub to replace fleet; however, what has really disappointed me the most was Vandin. True it was a nothing Planet, just a backdrop for the story but I still would have liked to return… It would be a shame if the number of explorable planets just ceased to grow any further because all of the new planets we get are either pit stops on the way to a single instance or only accessible in one off instances and that’s how it feels like the game is progressing. One of the key elements to a good MMO is it’s explorable world and for a game like Star Wars this goes doubly, people who love the franchise will want to explore its galaxy to the fullest! I mean, if there isn’t a universe to get out and explore then what’s the point in playing beyond the hour or two it takes to complete each new chapter once a month? Tl;dr? Please either start introducing worlds that we can revisit and explore or start expanding upon the old worlds we already have in order to give us something to go out and adventure in, at the moment there are a few smaller worlds that could do with some new areas, hell some larger worlds too.
  11. I agree, lost access to a lot of nice weapons and armor that have been around since launch. I was sad to see them go and would be happy to see them come back.
  12. Starparse I was totally down for. Teamspeak? Of course. Doing my homework before the pull seemed logical to me. Arriving on time by which he means ten minutes beforehand, sure, why not. That fourth point, which I can't quite remember or be bothered writing out, absolutely! And conquest? Hell, I'd love to help out with conquest... But after seeing the illustrious raid leader to be, I can't say I'm down for regearing my toons in a random assortment of stats... Sorry Kiri, I'll pass.
  13. Given that I can't complete a run of Esseles without being booted from my server for 15 minutes that's not really a good option. Even if I was to run it just for the drop, their isn't a 100% chance that it will drop or that I will win it, unlike with the heroic to saving face where you're given one that suited for your AC. Further more, a single run of Esseles just to get up to the bosses that have the chance of dropping it, takes more time than doing a quick heroic. It's also often easier to get a heroic 2 then an Esseles run, from my experience. I understand what you're saying but it doesn't really chance the fact that it's much harder to get an Modifiable OH as a rep beginner.
  14. Assuming from this comment that you're not an rper or here for the rp... why be on an RP server?
