Stop wasting your time fighting against Macros.
MaGicBush replied to Chosenxeno's topic in General Discussion
Sadly this, hopefully one day developers will come up with a way to find out who is using one until then we should all have access. Yes it will allow them to do so. -
Why are all characters the same height???
MaGicBush replied to xhaiquan's topic in General Discussion
I wouldn't call a different body type a option for height adjustment obviously. He is talking about a slider for a specific body type which would be a big plus, not sure how you could argue against a new feature with no down side lmao. Also mostly all MMO's have a way to adjust height even games like EQ had one. -

He mentioned Rift, not WoW... a bit defensive are we? Goes to show the reality behind that game as well. -
Figures.

Agreed, it is very unpolished feeling having to go through all the loading screens anytime I want to travel.
-
Except it doesn't really add a grind or tediousness to the game if done right, like in Eve. But like others said, this would have had to be implemented at launch to lower gear prices and make mostly everything craftable.

Which is sad really, I loved that system in those games. Crafting really is pointless in these newer mmo's anymore after a period of time elapses.

I have been going the medical route with my operative to heal in fp's, and group quests. I have never played a healer in a MMO before so was wondering if this is normal. At level 18 I am struggling against same level(and sometimes even one lower) mobs. I can kill them if I have kaliyo run in first, but after a group I generally have to regenerate each battle. Is this normal? Would it be viable for me to put a few points into a damage tree to help out and still be able to heal in a group, then later maybe switch back to full medical around level 30ish?

Patch 1.1 May make me resub to game(Is it coming this Tuesday?)
MaGicBush replied to javatroyz's topic in General Discussion
That's what most people here are wanting, is a server LFG tool not cross-server from what I have seen... just something. To many people will LFG for a hour or so then move on to another zone, but would obviously be willing to go back if a group formed. I get sick of standing around for no reason spamming chat every 5 minutes, and not being able to accomplish anything else if I want to do a specific dungeon. Guilds and friends list helps a little, but the problem is most in guilds are not going to go back in progression to help you out(except for the few, and I don't expect them to either). IF you play DPS, you wait basically for a very long time normally. And the "Reroll" comments wont help, I should not have to reroll to a healer or tanks to play as that defeats the purpose of choices. -
I lol'd It would be nice to have one yes.

This game needs a random dungeon finder.

Well, then those are acquaintances not friends. -

Well good for you, I have about 20 in my list but as another stated most are not on when I am or they out level/under level me and don't want to do a flashpoint. So you must have a very large friends list which means you don't really know the people in it and thus are not really 100% sure if they are legit or not after one quest. Thus a LFG tool is no different than this, it lists people available and puts them in a group. Not seeing the difference here... It's like people on facebook that have over 200 friends, your not really friends with 80% or more of them as that's impossible. -
A LFG tool would also help this problem, as most looking for a group for a flashpoint wait a while then move on to other planets but they would be willing to go back if a group was found.

Yea, I am a DPS and we were looking for a healer. Why should I reroll to a class I don't want to play, that defeats the purpose of choices in a game. Also the only reason it ruined it in WoW was because of a cross-server finder instead of just having it in a single server. -

Not so sure about that, considering their response to the ability delay thread today. -
Lol, pretty sure he was being sarcastic the same guy comes in almost every thread saying that such and such reason is why he quit on the 4th changing it each time.

Well feelings and opinions can change, as well as development decisions if they realize most of their customers want something(as long as it's not game breaking obviously). I concur one would be nice, I sat around a few days ago lfg for 2 hours and could never find a 4th player. Very annoying, and honestly don't see how a LFG tool can effect the community(as long as it is only server based and not cross-server obviously). -
Please Nerf Covert OPs and Smugglers for the love of GOD
MaGicBush replied to Individual's topic in General Discussion
I am a sniper, which does classify as agent. But I seem to get away from them easily in a wz, just stun them with my 4 second debilitate and run . -

Here we go again, nerf crying time apparently. They are fine, some other classes could use tweaks but I really hope Bioware does not nerf any class.. just bring them all up to speed. Honestly though I have way more trouble against other classes than the smugglers, and neither really have that much CC at all compared to the other classes, which was one of your complaints. You appear to be a sadist, why would you want any game to fail that makes no sense at all? -
Yes you will be disappointed, they are patching in exploit issues such as the dup bug most likely which is why it was unannounced until now. Those fixes will come in a weekly update, and are not the highest priority as a majority of players are still less than 50. If those are not fixed by the end of the first month then I would worry.

WOW makes money for a reason (lets learn from it)

You also have to take into account over half of WoW's subs is from China and various countries where SWTOR does not even exist. -

Great post and mostly agree, though I do want a LFG tool honestly. I spend 2 hours yesterday looking for a group, very annoying.
