  1. I fully realize all of those facts, I even agree with them. However, that doesn't stop me from wanting the event back They could even dress it up as something else, finding another reason to have the event return, and that would be fine with me; I simply wish they would return. Reoccurring events are excellent, and I'm glad they're adding more of them to the game. However, the fact that the were not originally slated to be reoccurring, nor the story reason for them not returning, stop me from wanting them to return
  2. I have this precise problem myself. I clicked the track button, immediately went and completed the achievement, and now it's stuck in my achievement tracker. No pop up, listed as completed, and completed date changing every time it's viewed, same as the OP. Submitted a bug report, received the standardized reply.
  3. Aren't the Black Green color crystals some reward for purchasing Razor products or something? Like the SWToR mouse? I too am curious about the recurring event, now that I have heard you mention it? Any other details, or just the date?
  4. I do not believe there was any mention anywhere about anyone at any time not understading what reoccurring does or does not mean I understand that the Gree event was designed to be an event that occurred at more than one time. I understand that the Rakghoul and the Chevin event were not designed with this specifically in mind, that is not to say that they were designed to happen only once. However, regardless of design intent, this thread is making a comment that I, and others, might like to see it again. Would you? Thank you for your thoughts on the matter
  5. True, it would be nice if they added some more things to the Chevin event vendor before they ran the event again. Something so everyone can get something from the event, like with the gree; how there is a weapon for pretty much every class, and a bunch of adaptable armor. Just a thought. They could perhaps also add a reputation vendor for the event. Then maybe the event wouldn't feel like such a waste of time.
  6. Bummers, I was really hoping for some kind of Dev response, like :" That sounds like an awesome idea, here, have some Rakghouls! " Probably not enough people clamoring for it along with me Such is life
  7. How would the data mined files from 2.2 tell us whether the Rakghoul event is coming back? Aren't those files already in the game from the previous event? Just curious
  8. Me too But given the choice of the events that are already in the game [Chevin, Rakghoul, Gree], I'd like to see the Rakghoul event again. Please
  9. It's not so much an obsession with Rakghouls, at least for me. It's more that I'd like to see different events than just the Gree one. Also, now that we have legacy achievements, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to get some of the achievements that pertain to the Rakghoul event. If I have an obsession with anything, its with achievements. Also, I'd hope that the event comes around more often than just at Halloween. at least a couple times a year would be nice.
  10. Here's a thought, perhaps they could add another reputation for the Rakghoul event. Perhaps something like the Containment and Treatment Division or something. It could be cross faction, and have some new armor pieces or something. That would add another element to the Rakghoul event, and perhaps make it more pleasant and fun for everyone.
  11. I'm all for still having the Gree event happen. There are lots of people who haven't managed to get the full rep, or the full number of Helix components they want. I just wish they alternated with some Rakghoul action. I missed about three-quarters of the rakghoul event the first time due to real life time restrictions, and I would really like another chance at it New events sound like an awesome idea as well.
  12. Steel Authority Guild from Guardian, Liberty, Protector and Pinnacle servers. We're pretty much all present here. We were playing this game a bit before those mongoloids at NCsoft kick is off our planet. Most of us like this game quite a bit, but I can tell ya, we're DYING for sidekicking/exemplarring in this game. I swear, this game would be near perfect if it wasn't so fracking hard to group up. Good to hear from all the CoX folks. Good memories
  13. lol, I agree, it was kind of an annoying event, but I would like to get another bowcaster from it. Perhaps they could add some new weapons or something to it and make it at least reward worthy, or something *shrug*. All in all, I would MUCH rather have the rakghoul event back, I liked that one. And I'd like another chance to get the rewards from it.
  14. So, am I the only one who is tired of the Gree event? What about the Rakghoul event?? This is what, the third Gree event? We had the Rakghoul event once, and haven't seen it since. I thought I should mention here that perhaps giving the other events a turn every now and then would be nice as well. If you agree, then post below and maybe we'll get to see the Rakghoul event again! Heck, I'd even like to see the Chevin event as well
  15. Make the "Dressing Room" window scalable in the interface editor Make the Operations window expand out from a center point, instead of pushing the window left as it expands. Example: 2 operations frames are center in a line between the two groups. When four groups are in the op, it expands an additional group to the right, and an additional group to the left, so the center stays in the same place Allow us to apply dyes to individual pieces in the "Dressing Room." I.E. I want to apply one dye to my gloves, and a different dye to my boots. This would probably be a complex change with the dressing room, but with the weird way dyes are actually visually represented, a single unify to chestpiece color system often doesn't work well. Make the focus target modifier work properly, it often targets me, even when I have the modifier button pressed down. And I do mean OFTEN. I usually have to release the modifier button and repress it to get the focus modifier to work properly. After every combat ends (the little red eye goes away), have a tiny report show up in the system (yellow) text, that shows your average DPS and HPS (Damage per second & Healing per second), for that combat sequence. Have your debuffs/buffs on enemies/players somehow separated from the swarm, so you can tell when they're down. Especially important in large groups and for attacks that rely on debuff effects, such as wounding shots Perhaps not a UI issue, but a hood up/down toggle would be downright FANTASTIC. Have an option for your helmet to show while in combat, but not show while not in combat. So when my bounty hunter is kicking behind, her helmet is on, but when she's running around not in combat, she has it off. Perhaps not UI related, but add some more Miraluka masks please. These don't unify to chest piece (there's an idea, make them unify to chest piece), so it's kind of important to have different options to go with the outfits. A global channel creation system, one that can be seen by both sides, please please please. Our guild plays both sides, and it would be easier to get groups together and communicate with our friends if this was possible.
  16. I agree with the majority of the people posting in this thread. Restricting customization of your client's characters is asinine in the extreme. Every piece of gear, especially the orange or other custom gear that we can change the item modification slots on, in the game should be able to be dyed; as well as any other possible modifications that come into play in the future. There is absolutely no viable reason for this not to be so. The only way some absurd restriction like this happens is because some group of developers came up with some esoteric or purposeless cause to restrict our options for some opinion or bias of their own. I hate to break it to the developers of this game, but I do not care how you think my character should look. My characters are mine, and your opinion on their appearance (something that has no impact upon any game play or balance element within the game, and therefore is of no importance to anyone but me) should have absolute no bearing upon what I can and cannot do for my character's appearance. Customization of one's characters is an element that is of paramount importance to me, and a large number of people I know who play this game. It is how we as players make the character our own, seeing as we have very little if any input on the quests or story outcomes outside of rote responses. Without customization options, we might as well be playing characters with skills, talents, and appearances that you as developers just hand to us; cookie cutter paper dolls that you think would be fun, without even asking us what we want. Giving us new customization options and then restricting them for no purpose, most especially in an issue that you called Customization is insulting.
  17. I would like to see this as well. Customization of your character should be one of the primary quality of life issues in any game. While I like some of the armor styles in the game, often the color for that armor is unfortunately poor. An example of this would be the genteel dress recently acquired from the cartel packs. Its a nice shape, but the color (especially that vomit yellow color) are terrible.
  18. Are not a set of robes that look like that, with the pale yellow color, given as a reward for the Chasing the Shadow heroic in the Black Hole? It's been a while since I've done that mission with my consular, but I seem to remember the armor from there.
  19. Huh, I thought there would be more people that agree with my guild and I about a sidekick/padawan system. Does no one else find it annoyingly difficult to put a group together with your friends unless you only play when everyone is available? As an additional suggestion, and in support of those who have suggested similar, there should be a global friends list based off of peoples legacy names, and it should be viewable regardless of faction. That way it would be easier for guilds and friends who have characters on both sides of the faction divide (Imp/Pub) to actually socialize. There should also be the ability to set up a global channel that is also viewable by both sides, perhaps where the channel Leader (not unlike a guild leader) could be the moderator and invite people to the channel, and that would allow people to communicate regardless of which faction you are currently logged in on. While some people might think that this cross-faction communication could cause problems with cooperation across factions in pvp or even pve perhaps, anyone who is going to cause those kinds of problems already does so on voice chat. The benefits of being able to stay in contact with your friends (Yet again, socializing being the main point of MMO's in the first place), would far outweigh any negative considerations; especially as most of those negative considerations exist through voice chat servers outside of Bioware's monitoring or control.
  20. Padawan/Apprentice System (i.e. Sidekicking or whatever else you want to call it) I, and many of my guild mates, would like the capability to group with our other guild mates that aren't precisely in level range with us. While it is always possible to grab someone of much higher level and "help" them on their characters, for some people (myself included) beating the snot out of mobs that are hugely below level of our characters is boring as sin. The same can be said for being a low level character grouped with a bunch of higher-level characters and being drug along as an ineffectual member of the group, boring as sin again. A solution to this would be to implement a system where your level can be artificially raised or lowered to that of the group leader. If your level was raised, your combat statistics (damage, hp, etc) would be raised to that of the new level, and your equipment would be raised to an average for gear of that level as well (probably green-quality) though you would not gain any other benefits of being a higher level such as powers/skill points. If your level was artificially lowered, then you would lose access to skills/talents that you could not have at that lower level, and your combat statistics would be set for what they were at the lower level; perhaps your gear could be downgraded to gear of the lower level as well, but maintain its color quality at the new level (i.e. purple armorings would be still be purple quality, but of lower level). To deal with the question of experience gain; a character who's level was raised, would most likely be unable to gain story missions, but should surely be able to do heroics that are repeatable anyway ( though perhaps missions not of the main planetary story lines could be completed as well), and would gain experience for these completed missions and for kills as if they had completed a quest of their actual level. Higher level characters would gain experience as if they had killed mobs or completed quests of the level that they were lowered to (this prevents higher level characters from completing easier lower level quests instead of level appropriate ones as their main experience gain). If a character is already level 50, and would not gain experience, perhaps all of the experience they would have gained can be given to them as credits instead. This gives them some incentive for grouping with lower level team mates. Another game COH,/COV had a system almost exactly like this and it was exceedingly successful in promoting grouping, which after all is the main purpose of MMO's, to interact with other people.
