  1. Yeah, I think it's time to upgrade mate, I usually say ignore the people saying that but in this case it's just not going to happen. My third rig has a very cheap Sparkle (I know right! Who? lol.) GT440 in it and a dual core 2.3 celeron and the game runs very well at 1360x768. Might be time for a quick upgrade, for cheap but super fast aim for the 5670, it's like Thrust SSC but cheap as chips.
  2. Simple, elegant and would make 90% of the people complaining happy until a major change is made. I don't understand why this hasn't happened yet.
  3. I think you're doing a fantastic job and wanted to pop in and add my two cents. Here is the setup I am currently using in SWTOR for Raiding. Using Xpadder with a wired 360 controller. Standard Mode (nothing held) I use the Left and Right Bumper for mouse controls as you do, it is a simple solution that works remarkably well once you've given it a few hours practice. The left stick is my forward, backward, strafe left and strafe right Right Stick is mouse. Left stick clicked as a button is jump Right stick clicked as a button is sit Buttons- A = 1 X = 2 Y = 3 B = 4 Dpad- left = 5 down = 6 right = 7 up = next quickslot bar Others- Back = Esc Start = M, Map Triggers- Left = select set 2 while held (see advanced in button selection mode in Xpadder) Right = Shift Left trigger mode 'Targetting Mode' (while left trigger is held) Buttons- A = Nearest Enemy X = Tab Y = Acquire target's target B = Next Friend Left stick clicked as button = Target Self Right Stick clicked as button = Target Companion Dpad- Left = Camera Zoom in Right = Camera Zoom out Down = Autorun Up = Take Cover or Companion Attack or Sheath unsheath weapon whatever makes your life easier. Others- Start = I, Inventory Right trigger mode 'Secondary Mode' (with right trigger held) Left stick clicked as button = 8 Right Stick Clicked as button = 9 Buttons- A = Shift-1 X = Shift-2 Y = Shift-3 B = Shift-4 Dpad- Left = Shift-5 Down = Shift-6 Right = Shift-7 Up = Previous Quickslot bar Others- Start - Character screen Helpful UI changes- When setting up your bars have the right bar and the bottom center on, have the left bar off with your companions bar set to left hand side when expanded. This will give you the incredibly helpful option of using UP on your Dpad to switch between two quickslots giving you a larger selection of abilities. You have 1-9 on the pad quickly pressing up will give your 1-9 secondary functions without the need to hold another key. Try it, once you memorise the placements you'll become lightning fast at the change. In addition I use the shift+1-9 keys for the bottom center bars keybinds Chained buttons.... I am not currently using Xpadders button sequence as I'm not sure how Bioware feels on the matter but in other MMO's that aren't against it Xpadder is able to set sequence's of buttons to a single key with chosen intervals, when using a pad this can be useful in creating your own Buff button using buffs you commonly use together with a single press. I frequently place in top 100 teams on various MMO's using setup's like this and have no problem raiding to the highest standards. It can be done if you put the time into it. I realise my setup is incredibly complex on first glance but nowhere near as complex once you've tried it for a while.
  4. I'm in the same bucket, CE owners get screwed for ordering where Bioware told us to on day one.
