Fortunately this is a Sci-Fi game. For this Arena and ranked PVP cra.......er stuff they need to put you in a "Mech" in first person view with identical health armor and DPS abilities and let you run around and pretend its Call of Duky errrr Duty on your console of choice.....Also no heals or tanks cause COD does not have them...... violia PVP paradise and as an added bonus because everyone's mech is identical it will finally be balanced ....

Even though I knew better ......I had some saved up cc so I bought 5 or 6 packs looking for the primordial AC Besh it was mostly crap. So much crap in fact that all of it combined could not net me enough on the GTN to fork out the 400k for the primordial AC Besh from the GTN............so no more gambling packs for me and yes I know RNG is RNG my issue is the astronomically greater chance of finding worthless crap in those gambling packs than something of utility or value...... Like the Vegas casinos they are designed for the house to win....... I would happily fork out 1400+ cc to outright buy the primordial AC Besh off the CM or 2800+(3200+ even plus up to 75% of the cost for an unlock ) for the varactyl but the deal is only if its the item in question I want 2800-3200+ cc for a pack that is the super rare you want plus their random junk and how much would that be for an entire armor set if each piece is sold in an individual pack at that price point...........

Are you people saying my tank toons (sans BH) can have a healer companion at the start instead of slogging through 30-40 levels with out one that's not a ship droid? and that some of my healer toons can start with a tank? (looking at you Merc and Combat Medics)................

My IA is light side he is only level 20 so not too far into the story but still has decided the greatest threat to the Empire is not the Republic but the psychotic megalomaniacial "burn down the Empire for personal gain" Sith and that they must be removed from power at all costs........

Question: Why cant I equip my ship droid with a blaster pistol? Answer: Because he in a NON combat companion...... Comment: Non combat you say? Really? You sure? Would one define "combat" as running into melee range and punching something as "combat" ? I am pretty sure I see him do this all the smurfing time......but it must not be combat.... So if he is only a NON "combat" companion why does my portrait turn red and I look around to find him punching gray mobs to death? However amusing it is I would expect a NON "combat" companion to stand back and do nothing but heal my arse..........

dont forget you can buy orange pilot gear with fleet coms font know how any of it would look with the dancer outfit though

Its not your fp or your group nor your decision for other players. If you wish to have the ability to make decisions for other players I suggest you spam the fleet until you find three other people willing to consent to your decisions for them then queue up as a group..... Otherwise suck it up and accept its the random group finder where no one is going to give a womprats arse about letting you make decisions for them......or consent to it.

Actually before the game launched I do believe the idea was for companions to be able to fill roles in flash points and operations as well as have companion kits that allowed them to fill any role. I could probably play my Jedi Knight if the first companion was a healer and not you know a tank :/ Sadly for what ever reason the dev team coped out on something unique and refreshing that would have set TOR apart from other the other MMO's

15 % is somewhat close 25 % is on the outer edge. If the DPS has to be 10 % or less not even considering 5 % or less then again I ask why bother? There really is no point because the game/content was not designed to handle any thing other than the trinity and hybrids/utility class's are not part of that and any time/money/people spent on them is a waste or resources. Its just like PVP you know why PVP works so well in all those First Person Shooters? Its the simple spastic chicken dance game play. run around shoot people add more people and it works even better because everyone is exactly the same running around doing the exactly the same thing.... shooting people It just does not work well in an RPG where you have a diversity of class's and abilities with strengths and weaknesses just like hybrids/utility class's fall out side of the strict ridged structure of the trinity

Then why even have them? If any kind of diversity and utility are left at the front door to the raid if would have saved 10's of millions of dollars by having just three class's with one ability each. Tank that can only taunt Heal that can only heal DPS that only has one attack There no need to worry about class balance in raids or pvp or dps disparity of course every part of the game outside those would be pointless.........

Apparently it is and it is a perfect example of how the concept of "Raiding" is horribly broken. For 50 levels all the skills you mention as well as the non talented heals are useful that is until you step foot into a raid......

They could make the F2P the single player experience. Not have any restrictions except the following: Remove the ability to join a guild or join a WZ. Remove the ability to group which would automatically cut out the group finder and flash points and ops or simply restrict access to these areas all together including the H2+ and H4+ areas. Limit or restrict access to the GTN and restrict trading with other players. Limit access to email maybe even disallowing sending emails to alts. You have a reason for people to play your game and not feel frustrated and just quit. Maybe even buy stuff from the cartel store as they journey down each class quest not feeling frustrated from all the restrictions... Help them to decide to subscribe so they can try out all that content they keep seeing people talk about in general chat aka heroic areas and flash points.......

I installed the last preview of Win 8. The TOR installer prompted it did not support the OS and could not continue and asked if I wanted to continue It installed and seemed to run OK almost as good as it did on Win 7. If you do not like metro you can google for classic shell. Its a start menu replacement for Vista/7/8 on Win 8 it removes the metro menu and adds a Win 7 like searchable start menu and even boots directly to the desktop bypassing Metro completely. There are also other Metro removers/start menus popping up you can search for. Once Metro is disabled and a proper start menu is installed Win 8 is actually an improvement over Win 7.

I cant stand the look of the cannons So I have a commando (healing) using a rifle. I do keep a cannon handy just in case people get all butt hurt with me using a rifle on my combat medic if and when i decide to group.

are you using the apple provided bootcamp drivers for your video card? They are probably old You should be-able to use the latest from the AMD/ATI website. "Boot Camp" does not emulate or virtualize anything Windows is running on bare hardware just like it would on any other non apple EFI based motherboard.

Ever play a Prot Paladin in WoW then switch to Holy completely different game play and gear Druids are even more separated Tank Mele DPS ranged DPS or heals. by your logic I have not talked about two different class's but 5....... they really are the same class just different specs and I do believe they also share one talent tree that has the exact same talents....

I don't pay a subscription fee so I am allowed to play the game on your terms...... It would not fix the imbalance issue because it would only make paying customers into the nonpaying non customer type. I will choose canceling my subscription over being forced and or mandated by the development staff to play or make a faction gender or class I do not want to 100 percent of the time every time.
