  1. I get higher personal DPS and overall damage from Pyro; however, my Ops group usually benefits from my playing arsenal. My overall damage drops, but most everyone else sees a boost, which results in a net gain.
  2. I'm still playing because of The Fatman.
  3. The only thing that will change at 50 is that I'll be undergeared, since I can't buy BM gear till I meet the requirements. Other than that, I doubt that it will change that much at all. After all, I'm playing versus level 49s now, and twice last night, I was top DPS in games with multiple level 40s on either team. I was level 36. Maybe they were just baddies, but remembering back from when I ding'd 50 on my Sage, there was no difference in level 49 and level 50 PvP. Oh yeah, and that was before level 50s were shorn off the top of the PvP bracket. Can someone specifically detail what happens to a Merc between level 49 and 50 that gimps them?
  4. I've heard this observation multiple times. I've played level 50 WZs. I didn't notice a change from 49 to 50 on my Sage. Since I've been playing v. level 49s from level 10ish forward, I can't imagine being on even footing negatively affecting my play. The only difference is that when I do ding 50, I'll be undergeared versus many of my peers. That will hurt for a little while, but that's a gearing issue, not a game play issue. Why is it "different"-- what changes?
  5. Seriously: Pyro Merc here. I walk out into a Warzone, and that old quote from the Bhagavad Gita comes to mind: "Now I am become Death, destroyer of worlds." My Merc was only mid-20s pre-1.2, but if anything, I am doing better now in my mid-30s than I was then with basically the same rotation for both PvE and PvP. The fact is, when you set people on *********** fire, they die. In droves.
  6. Level 36 Merc Pyro, and I am eating people in PvP. I'm regularly top three DPS if not first, and I have medals literally laid at my feet by lesser beings, upon whose necks I step so that my unsullied feet shant touch the undeserving ground beneath me. &c. &c. TL;DR? I'm loving it.
  7. I'm 93!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Fatman queues build anticipation, thereby enhancing my gameplay experience.
  8. Has anyone coined the term: "QueueQueue"? If not, I demand credit.
  9. Probably more users in this queue than the total active pop of my home server. Worth it.
  10. I want a t-shirt. I want that t-shirt to say, "I <3 The Fatman." Someone make this so.
  11. The Fatman is belong to us. All of Us.
  12. Dear The Fatman: Sorry for invading your server. My friends and I recently rerolled Empire on The Fatman, moving from Republic on Mandalore the Indomitable. Tonight, we first logged onto Mandalore to see if we were actually going to have our guild group together for Ops. After it was apparent that our guildies weren't going to log, we logged onto The Fatman (through a 30 minute queue). The second instance of The Fatman Imp Fleet had more people than the only instance of the Rep Fleet on Mandalore. I'm here to stay. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this is what we have to do to play the game for which we all pay.
  13. If you were part of the guild, when you select a server in game, it should have a flag next to the server where your guild was placed. On a side note, are you not concerned that you *forgot* which guild you were in? Since you don't seem to know anyone in it or remember it well enough to be able to find it, you'd probably be just as happy randomly choosing a server and asking for a guild invite from anyone.
