  2. If arenas are introduced, make it so that you have to queue for it separately and can only queue with a full group.
  3. Let's be honest guys, the only way someone would break out of the average 300k damage done barrier is if the other team has 4 healers 2 tanks and your team has at least 2 heals. Free for all DPS, anyone could break through that. Let's look at competitive game play for balance, not these silly pug matches.
  4. Your argument does not even make sense. If you read what i have posted then you would understand. Sure if X and Z are both pure DPS guys who can do nothing else but DPS then yes, you can say it's imbalanced. But let's say that X is a healer. X should not be able to fend off a pure DPS class themselves, because that would make Healing OP. So then you bring in Z a DPS or a tank to peel of Y. That's where team play kicks in. Balance should not be tailored by Pug warzones. It should be formed from team compositions and ranked warzones.
  5. If this game was solely based on one mechanic that everyone does DPS, then sure having to bring another player to deal with one player sure is not balanced. But this game is different, each classes does something different. Saying that a healer should be able to fend off for themselves is just a bag full of rubbish. Sure it's frustrating for pug play, but that doesn't mean it's broken.
  6. Sentinels are melee. Their main damaging abilities are within the 4 meter range. They are susceptible to taunts, slows, and most importantly kiting. Their main crowd control are: Root for 2 seconds if it hits, A self root channeled ability and a stun on the opponent, And an aoe stun for 6 seconds that breaks on hit. Now with that being said, if all of those are off cooldown, then sure a sentinel might be able to get to you if you're a competent player. But then again, where are your cooldowns? Where's your guard to peel off dps on you? Where's the rest of your team? Are they too busy getting supposedly owned too because they are not well geared or are not skilled? Maybe these people asking for nerfs on a melee class with defensive abilities that helps him survive kiting and being focused fire for just 5 seconds, need to realize that skilled players are able to handle Marauders. There's no way a Sentinel can 2 v 1 anyone unless they are in some form of recruit gear or are just unskilled.
  7. What these people don't understand is that we need the roots or slow, or else we will just be able to get kited by even the most brain dead player. A good player can get away from a sentinel if they wish to do so.
  8. People really need to get their facts right before they even talk about any abilities. Force Camo lasts for 4 seconds and can be specced very high up in the trees to be able to grant move speed buff and does not put you out of combat, therefore you can not really heal up to full HP unless you get healed by a healing buff or a healer. How is this better than Operative's or Assassins' in Combat cloak? Force leap is on a 15 seconds cool down. It can be specced down to 12 under the Watchman Tree. We can get a second leap under the Combat Tree. But it costs 3 rage to use and has a range of 10 meters. A good player who knows how to kite can destroy melees. Please stop standing in the same place and letting melee melt you in the face. It is very hard for a melee characters to get to a range character who knows how to move well. In every MMO range is King of PvP. Lastly, have you guys seen Powetech DPS or Operative burst?
  9. I heard "kiting" defeats melee's defensive cool downs. Their defensive cool-downs have a one minute or so timer on them other than force camo, which has around 30 seconds. But who cares about a 4 second camo that doesn't even break combat. Can Sentinels / Marauders really survive better than all the DPS classes out there? I've seen Operatives dodge everything with their bubble, I've seen Powertechs tank everything with their bubble. Tell me how much better are Sentinel / Marauder's odds of living. Not to mention, I have never ever been bursted down from 100 - 0 by a Sentinel / Marauder.
  10. Because he only unloaded damage and couldn't really kill anyone through the heals, thus padding his actual effectiveness with bloated numbers of nothing. l0l.
  11. You guys are missing the point here. These classes are meant to do damage. You don't see a sentinel carrying the hutt ball from one end to the other end like a Guardian do now do you? Each classes have different roles. These classes seem to do well because the score board highlights damage done. But to be honest, the only way that you can do obscene amounts of damage is if the team are somewhat on a stalemate and if the DPS has a pocket healer or two.

    Dear Developers.

    Please let me purchase battlemaster gear even though I am not close to level 50. That way when I roll into level 50 warzone I don't feel old printed documents from the office waiting to be shredded by the big mean shredding machine. Tyvm.
  14. You can only do that much damage if fights are total stale mates.
  15. I laugh at the people here complaining about how sorcs can dish out damage and healing at the same time while other classes have a way of putting up protection numbers, which is about the same as healing, except it's way easier because all you have to do is press one button.
