  1. One other thing... Operative is NOT a Melee class.
  2. I'm not sure about NEVER criting on F2p/Preferred (really, the wrong names for what the status are...) but the chances are A LOT lower!
  3. Yes, only you can use Reusables if you have the required Biochem. Other people can use them too IF they have the required level. Everything else is fare game for anyone to use.
  4. Yet if you look in the Codex entry for Armstech, it no longer suggests you take Investigation, only suggests Scavenging and Slicing. Armstech isn't the only Crafting skill that has had their codex entry changed to no longer list the required Mission Skill. Armormech and Synthweaving no longer list Underworld Trading as the recommended Mission Skill, just lists Scavenging/Archeology and Slicing.
  5. Agreed, but.... not gonna hold my breath.
  6. 100% agreed! We all know how stupid it was for them to make the barber shop a CC only thing, but the "discount" for subs SHOULD be that it is a in game credit transaction only. Ignored Stat... I mean, Preferred Status can pay CC for it, but the amounts should be reduced (AT LEAST) to the current subscriber "discount."
  7. I got news for you OP, the PERFERED status has Uber limitations as is!
  8. I totally agree! Its stupid that SOME ships have only a SINGLE SEAT (aside form on the bridge) that can be "used" yet there is room for 4+ people by the looks of it... I can't see that taking much time to code, but customization of the ships would....
  9. I'd just like Dark Side Corruption to not turn my Sith Pureblood pink!
  10. As long as its the same server, then yes it carries over. I bought the Chiss racial unlock and have Chiss Smuggler myself.
  11. Depending on how you play it, both are true. It takes a lot of credits to perform crafting, specially if your like me and have bad luck. Namely cause to get the blue/purple schematics you have to create the previous 'version' (green and blue respectively) and reverse engineer it for a 20% chance (to clarify, that is 20% chance on each piece you create) to get the next 'level' in the chain. Plus, having to use the gathering skill to get the blue mat and having to critical in order to get he purple. However, that is how you can make 'millions' by crafting: by crafting and selling the blue/purple products on the GTN. From what I've seen, this applies mostly to the 11 (lowest creditable mods) to 50(ish) levels. Sometimes, people do not want to wait to farm the Planetary Comms (or just don't have enough to do so) to upgrade themselves and their Companions in new mods (note, this applies to Cybertech, Artifice and to a lesser extent Armstech). Same thing applies to Armormech/Synthweaving. You can make decent money, if priced right, selling 'lower level' equipment on the GTN. Namely blue/purple gear. Empty shell modable gear can also help make some profits, as everyone is looking for the right look for them and their chosen companion. Biochem can be good, as they do make Implants, Stims and Medpacks. But the purples are only good for people WITH Biochem. But, the higher level Stims and such can still make some money. Armstech is widely considered the least profitable crew skill (least as far as I know). Most of its modable craftings look horrible form what I've seen. Which leaves only Barrels to even attempt to make money with. A real gamble imho. If you have the time and credits to spare, you CAN make money using the GTN for crafting skills. But, it just comes down to luck and what you put up for how much. It is VERY server dependent.
  12. Yes! For the love of god yes! RP Servers NEED naming enforcement! I don't think it is that difficult or costly for ERA to implement...
  13. Amber, you mention quite often in your post that a lot of the issues that people are complaining about - and have been since 2.0 - will be addressed and fixed in 2.1 That's all well and good, except 2.1 has no release date as of yet AND the problems continue to plague the game; costing players (in more then a few cases, paying customers) time and effort. Further more, can you say with any certainty that these issues will be addressed in the next patch? To be honest, such promises have been made on the forums by Moderators such as yourself before only to be partially, often completely, ignored by the patchers.
  14. A droid may be able to do a lot of things better then a 'human,' but are a lot more expensive. Both the initial cost and upkeep.
  15. It'd also be nice if they had auto-complete names for toons in our legacy like the do for guildmates....
