  1. Ok, yes free is always nice but I think the Free to play MMOR games need to shorten the Free Options and instead of charging $15, give tiered access at a cost of $5 per segment up to the $15 giving FULL access. Come on people, they need to make money or they don't keep going. Hell, people begging in SF get more than $5 per hour in the right areas. The games should start as Free to Play with Uber Limitations. Enough play to let you feel the game, experience the art, see if it does seem like something you can have fun with. Then perhaps for $5, limit the zones you can get into, or something else. Something on the line of 25% access for the first $5, 50% for the second, and 100% access for the third. Then perhaps for an additional $5 per month, special stuff. like Bases/buildings that we can customize the build. Or Personal ships that we can design. Etc. All games should go this direction. Additionally, if you loose your job or something, you should not loose your toons, BUT until you are paying again your limited in what you get to do. YOu don't LOOSE what you had, you just don't have access to it all. We need to pay to play so that the games continue giving great service. Great Art, and continually grow and develop.
  2. Hey Folks, I am not sure about you but I would LOVE to stop having my ship take off every time I enter it. Instead, how about the launch take place IF we go to the control deck and actually choose a destination. Then if you are doing something like dropping into the ship or showing your ship to someone, you don't have to go through the cut scene every time. It also does not make sense. Go to your ship and off you go? Every time? When you may not even be going somewhere. Heck, I used to like the idea of logging out in my ship when I could but I got tired of waiting for the cut scene to finish. So how about we change that and set the ship to take off IF a new location is chosen to go to? Thanks, and May the Force be with you.
  3. Hey Folks, I don't know about you but -- in my opinion--, the art for the opening image for Rise of the Hut Cartel is pretty bad. I am stunned at how badly it was done compared to the art throughout the game. The only reason I play any MMO in the first place is for the art. There are soooo many MMO's out there already that one can spend hours and hours on. So for me, if I am to spend some money monthly, the game better have good art as well as be a good fun game. The art for that opening is horrible. It looks like it was done too quickly. I am not an illustrator but I do enough art to know when a piece was done quickly and with little thought. Come on guys. This is the digital era. There is no way that piece could have not been reworked to be better. Please change that art. Put something that shows the game is worth the money you spent on it's design and the money I am spending monthly to play. Now, before anyone says something like, "Hey, perhaps they are trying to give someone a chance to get some experience", don't. There are TONS of ways to do that. Post your stuff on line. If that is the case then consider this, there are sooooo many artists out there that would LOVE the chance to get their work on that screen that are so much more talented and skilled than this posted persons skill (if this is the best they can do) that it is sad those other artists in the world are not given this spot. Please improve on the art. Because if this is an example of how much the game's art is going to start deteriorating, then don't be surprised to see articles showing up about how your popularity is slowly going down. Good art is a big variable in today's game market. The computers are getting better, lets have the art work do so as well. Thank you for letting me express my opinion. Have fun and may the force be with you.
