  1. Exactly. But you don't see me crying over the other items I have lost to Greed/Need roles, nor do you see me telling other folks to pass on things they need or want. It is simple. You and others believe you deserve items which YOU declare are yours because of some arbitrary numbers. I believe if some takes part in the fight they have an equal claim to the loot. Call it what ya like but please keep your QQ's.
  2. Maybe in YOUR groups... But in mine I don't get bent when people roll on loot items EVER! For ME... Every has the right to roll on an item regardless of class. Especially if it is an upgrade! I would hope folks would be courteous to other people's needs, but it isn't mandatory.
  3. Yep & I ripped out the enhancement put into my companions armor too! It is people like YOU that don't understand this is a game. You're getting mad over pixels! This is why I don't do random groups because of people like you. I'm not playing to farm for your characters' items. If someone can use it let them roll and stop QQ.
  4. 1. Swap his combat stance. One of them reduces aggro. 2. Don't start your lift until he actually hits a mob (or just before). 3. Slow down on your DPS output a bit to mitigate your aggro generation. *Eventually you'll get a power to reduce your aggro, USE it. *Be sure he has the best weapon possible. You want him to generate a lot of aggro thru DPS. *BTW he will get an AoE EMP burst. You want to Right-Click it in the little green box to turn it off. His other AoE is off by default. It will turn back on each time your screen loads or you summon him. This will stop him from breaking your lifts with damage. You can still click on it to make him use it when it is safe.
  5. I agree I'd rather have a force storm, like the one used in the trailer, than the sand blaster effect.
  6. If it is an upgrade then the answer is: YES I'd go farther to say if it is an upgrade for your companion ROLL TOO. Unless the group establishes specific loot rules, you as a member of the group, have just as much right to the loot as anyone else. This entitlement attitude of "it's mine" because of a couple of stats is ridiculous. I had a similar incident over a saber. Because of one stat a Jedi Knight claimed it was "his". Unfortunately for him the ROLL said it was mine.
  7. Based the idea that you are purchasing items from fellow players & not off static in game vendors. When players buy gold/coin/credits in game they have the ability to buy things that they normally would not be able to. This devalues the play time of others who work to get their gold/coin/credits. In essence, they work a week to buy a special item, but can not afford it, as gold/coin/credit buyers are able to push the cost of items up. The prices of these items are artificially higher. Artificial in the sense, that it is outside of game factors that are causing prices to go up. If you want specific examples, then go explore the economies of all the games before SWtOR. (EQ anyone?)
  8. I have to agree, that chat bubbles are needed. I only purchased this game to play with old friends from SWG. My friends are playing on a RP server. I do enjoy a bit of RP, but having to watch a ridiculous chat window and try to figure out who is talking kills the immersion of the mmoRPG. I thought I was going to be playing a "new" game. Chat windows/tabs are as old as the original text based adventure games.
