  1. You can always go back to leaving burning bags of poop on people's doorstep. I'm sure everyone who isn't scum is happy about the change.

    Knock back nerf

Stealth doesn't help much when you're in combat and people start throwing you around the room. Also AoE knockbacks affect people in stealth. How do I close up on anyone after I've been knocked back? Disappearing Act? That has a 3 min cooldown (2min with 2 points in a tier 6 talent) and is our only escape tool. And you can't be dotted, he knows you're coming and can aoe or aoe knockback, oh and I'm slowed i forgot.
  3. What are you doing? Logic has no place in a champ bag whine thread!
  4. You should keep in mind that some people just like to queue with their friends (simply to get into the same battleground) who don't necessarily have any more skill or coordination than your average random. Not everyone who queues up as anything but solo is a fully coordinated gank squad on ventrilo.
  5. I don't think he is actually. If it's so obvious as you claim that OPs/Scoundrels do too much burst, why don't you find a post 1.1 video that proves it? Also while you're at it, why don't you determine how much burst is too much for a class that does not have any other strengths than burst. That people don't like seeing big numbers pop up over their heads and their little reptilian brains kick in and go BIG NUMBAHS = OP!! is not a valid reason to nerf anything.
  6. While a like the bag lottery myself, you make some excellent points. Resolve is a mess and the number and cooldowns of CC abilities themselves is just completely out of whack to start with. Few abilities and only a short term immunity is how someone not terrible would design the system, but no you know best bioware, lets give everyone assloads of CC so it can be spammed all day and not do what it's supposed to 2/3rds of the time.
  7. I oppose this on the grounds that huttball sucks and it might lead to more huttball for republic. Just think of having to play huttball as your punishment for rolling imp
  8. The fix has been on test for a while but apparently didn't make it for Tuesday's patch. Hoping for next week.
  9. Just popped in to say that if you use two different relics, the second one only gets a 30 sec cooldown so you can alternate them. Also you get 48 more expertise. Otherwise I like the system as is. Its supposed to take a long time to get your final pieces and a short time to get decently geared. What else do you have to work towards (until you hit valor 60)? Every always assumes getting your pieces in a non-linear rate is all wrong and bad and totally sucks man. It's that way for a reason. And btw, PvE works the same way. If you only need 1 more PvE piece your chances of getting it are much lower than if you can use whatever drops.
  10. I'll have a very hard time believing that your server so special that this isn't going on. And nothing will be done about it. It's clear after 1.1 that cheaters are free to do whatever they like as long as there are enough of them.
  11. Warzones, 4/10. They're passable but I've seen much much better. Targetting is kinda hard and seeing the difference between classes is not that easy, leading to chaotic combat (this is not a good thing). I've seen other games do it much much better. Huttball, while I give props for trying new things, is extremely slanted towards certain classes, doesn't look very good, and is just not very fun (I'm a scoundrel). Ilum, 1.1/10 (the 0.1 is for the sky, which is the only nice feature of Ilum). And that's honestly not an exaggeration. - First of all it looks like ****. It's rock. Or crystal that looks like rock. Every square inch of Ilum is boring rock. Really, this seemed like a good idea to you? I've levelled to 50, I've seen that you can make planets that doesn't look like complete ****, did you save it up for the zone your're stuck in at 50? - Second. The combat there consists of two situations. Either I'm throwing grenades at a blob of players hoping one will die eventually so I'll get my daily, or I rove around on my bike in an Ops group, swarming the few people we occationally encounter, gaining a few kills. Both are boring as ****, I could be a pre-created NPC with 1 ability and do the same thing. There would be no difference. - Third. Since everything revolves around blob against blob, ranged is king and melee might as just not be there at all. I really and honestly think it would actually be an improvement if Ilum didn't exist. It is that terrible. I don't want to go there, but the completionist in me drags me there to complete my dailies. I want it gone so I don't have to bother.
  12. Did anything think SWTOR had the best PvP on the market even if stuff like that wouldn't happen? Warzones are worse than the competition and Ilum is just a joke. And by joke I mean disaster.
  13. The reason people feel that Scoundrels/Operatives are OP is because they don't like (yeah I actually mean HATE) getting all that burst to their back from stealth. Same things with rogues in wow and all similar classes in every mmo. It's the design of the class you don't like. It has nothing to do with whether the class is overall balanced or not. After the burst then what do we have? As has been mentioned, at high gear level where everyone will end up eventually I would actually say that Scoundrels/Operatives are UP. Burst won't kill anyone anymore, and it's pretty much all they have. In addition you rarely fight anyone one on one, which is their strong suite. They are almost exlusively 4m range, which is a pretty big disadvantage in a game where you spend half your pvp time CCed and with your access to the target controlled. When they blow all their abilites/energy on the burst sequence, then in the several seconds you need to finish someone off with normal dps abilies you'll get stunned and your target will get healed up. Basically any assisting player (one heal thrown, one aoe knockback fired etc) will make it impossible for your to kill your target. Assuming equally geared players. An operatives power increases exponentially the worse his targets gear is, which is another reason (poorly geared) people feel the class is OP. BioWare designed the class to burst. It's a design the other classes hate. But if you remove the burst the class is useless. It would have to be completely redesigned, which they can't do because they will have completely changed the core mechanic of a class people spent time and effort levelling.

    Update.. finally..

Exactly. This is a play to try to extinguish the rollback fire on the forums. They have certain amount of GMs "balanced" for doing the normal day to day support. Now they're gonna individually investigate hundreds of thousands of players? Sure. Maybe they'll do the few worst offenders by sorting by most valor gained, but this is an empty gesture and this announcement is nearly indistinguishable from a flat out lie. Thanks BioWare for your empty PR statements im sure they'll fix your game. Learn to think. They decide for themselves what "an unreasonable degree" means. They don't have the manpower to correct the amount of valor gain that the players consider unreasonable.

    no more heal medal?

Needed change. Maybe not tanks can't just top the lists without trying. Just kidding they still can That one medal (two in rare cases) won't change a thing.
