Bioware assaults my religion by preventing me from using the necessary consecutive capital letters to say "BEST CLAN" in all caps as PartyBoy meant it to be said. As such, I made an explanatory and somewhat rambly sentence with which to incorporate my message so as to circumvent their censoring.

bleh. barely played since this thread was made. all motivation lost... time to cancel the sub and put the money towards something better. It was a fun return to swtor and if they ever get their heads out of their asses and figure out cross server queues i might return.

i would be fine with this. JM pvp is about as dead as can be since the PvP FAQ.

And what if your main PvP character is also your main PvE character? So yeah... Full legacy transfer would do i guess.

Well since they are too lazy/cheap/disinterested in getting us actual cross server queues... I support this proposal as it might just be close enough.

getting votes is so random and bizarre sometimes. I'll get a huttball where I score 6 times and have 10k more objective points than anyone else and ill get 0 votes. or an arena where i do 3x more damage than anyone else and have most or all the killing blows and get 0 votes. or a voidstar where i save the day holding off 4 enemies by myself for a full minute or so before my team comes to help out and then plant all the bombs and do all the consoles and ill get 0 votes. or go win a 1v1 or 1v2 at an enemy turret in civil war or novarre and then cap it and ensuring victory for your team... 0 votes. other games i wont be very useful and ill get 4 votes. my personal favourite though is capping the enemy pylon 3-4 times and still BARELY winning because your team is getting totally destroyed in mid and getting no orbs and then still get no votes for it. but anyways. to get back onto the actual topic... I worry that if more medals are given out for defence you will see more matches where multiple people simply give up trying to win and go sit at an objective and rake in the defender medals.

It's not the solution we NEED (Cross server) but it might help at least. While you are it, let us get our dailies done with ranked matches.

I support your right to not queue for arenas... But I love arenas and think they are the best warzones by far and would have lost all interest in pvp in this game ages ago if not for the glory of all arena ranked warzones.

I support your thread. I made one myself not too long ago but hey, if we don't keep making a fuss about it then why would they ever change their minds? I haven't unsubbed yet but I've been thinking about it a lot since the PvP FAQ... I think I will be unsubbing pretty soon; I've hardly logged in since I saw that thread and since ranked pvp is what I spend most of my ingame time on and since it was already only popping 2-3 hours a day and is now popping even less... well yeah... I don't think they want me to stick around any longer. Me and my guildies are all looking for a new game so I suspect we will be gone pretty soon.

I really wish they could get the cross server queues going for PvP and for PvE as it would make this game infinitely better. Sitting around waiting to do **** is always what kills MMOs for me and cross server queues are the solution. I have 6 days left on my sub and I almost cancelled it immediately after reading this thread. I really love ranked pvp but since it is only possible to get a match during a 3 hour prime-time window it just isn't keeping my interest. I really wish that the feedback of paying customers would push them to work on cross server queues but it seems like the only way they might listen is to stop paying? or would they then just say they don't care about us since we aren't paying? Oh well. Perhaps BIRD CLAN will have to go on migration again.

It's been said before (by me and many many others) but Cross-Server pvp is absolutely necessary to the survival of PVP in this game. I really hope they finally cave in and do it cause the population is only getting worse on every server and pvp is slowly dying... with cross server people could get in there and test themselves against everyone else and get pops all the time... it just has to be done.

Honestly... I would probably lose all interest in ranked if it stopped being arena. Arena is by far the most interesting try-hard pvp for me. I get so bored when i do unranked now

correct me if im wrong but... only subscribers can do ranked pvp? keeping your paying customers happy is common sense for customer retention and continued revenue.

cross server pvp would drastically improve the ranked scene here which means more people doing it which would mean retaining more subscribers which means more moneys for EA! so maybe they will do it? But I don't think they really look for long term money gains >.>

Isn't it possible that if enough players ask for it they might listen? I mean how much effort did they put into GSF? pretty sure they coulda done cross-server pvp instead. though getting cross-server pvp for GSF would also be a huge boost for GSF.

Would that invalidate my belief in the necessity of cross-server pvp? though I am not technically new since I started up in open beta... but i did come back from a year break a couple months ago and have been playing tons of ranked since the season 1 end announcement brought it back to life (sorta) on Jung Ma

and absolutely essential to the survival and prosperity of ranked pvp in this game.

I know it's been talked about before and they keep saying it won't happen but seriously... I have been really loving the ranked pvp lately but I'm on Jung Ma and unless it's prime time then you will never get a match and even at prime time there is usually one match going at a time and there are so few pubs who do it that they can usually just put together a pre-made to go in and have solid odds against the imperials. The frequency of ranked queues popping has also been a lot slower lately. Many players get frustrated and stop queueing; especially when trolls are queueing who intentionally throw matches over and over again even though they get reported all the time for it. When you only have 1-2 matches going at a time then that one guy who is intentionally losing matches is going to ruin 50-100% of matches. If we can get cross-server ranked queues then there could be 10-50 matches at a time or something... the easier it is to get a match the more people will queue and the more matches! one troll can only ruin one game and if there are even more people seeing him and reporting him maybe he will get in trouble? maybe? Oh and group ranked? well yeah its almost impossible to get a match of that; you have to shout in general for hours and convince people to make a team to fight you and then you'll get one match and that will be that. So yes, Please PLEASE PLEASE give us cross server ranked pvp before the ranked scene on my server dies out completely. I will not spend money transferring one or more of my characters to another server just to enjoy a part of the game that should be available on all servers. The ranked scene is dying off on my server and though I love PvE I can't run ops 24/7 and wouldn't really want to... I want to just mess around having some fun in ranked pvp... if i can't do that then i just lose interest more and more. having to wait around 3-4 hours to get a match is just not cool.

i just want the daily to play 10 matches brought back... when i had a quest to "play 10" and a quest to "win 3" it was a lot less upsetting going on 5 game losing streaks with awful pug teams vs premades because at least i was progressing towards something, and i always got my 3 wins before playing 10 matches, so then i would just play a few more matches just for fun without getting upset if i lost. now i just get really mad whenever i lose cause i just want to get my 3 wins and go do something else.
