  1. Yep because he'll still playing in 5-10 years if it lasts that long and he'll have actual proof as he'll be actually the only person on the game.
  2. LOL Friends List is bugged and your "popularity" actually has zero to do with the game being dead. New players join all the time. They're not your friends. You could try making friends with them. I'm not totally disagreeing wth you. But I thought numbers have been steadily increasing for the past year or so....
  3. I don't agree with your whole point, but I do agree on one thing. #1 Kind of odd, but who cares? It doesn't change anything. #2 Another one that doesn't matter. Companion usefulness was trivial to begin with. Why should I have to worry about their gear? Their only purpose is to make things easier for you. #3 I've leveled all but sage and vanguard. What's wrong with skipping the boring grind? #4 I don't know what you're referring to. They look about the same. Even more has been added actually. Though I do miss the customization of the old days. So I agree with you on this. #5 Honestly just not sure what you mean. Not gonna argue. #6 Yea bolster is stupid, but this isn't new. These changes are normal in MMOs. WoW did the same thing. The casual player is their best customer. Dumbification happened with the implementation of pvp gear with expertise and bolster in warzones. This makes skill less important. WoW is getting rid of pvp gear altogether next xpac and I can't wait. I hope swtor does the same in the future.
  4. Bioware...why didn't you just say "we're just going to give you a recolored version of what many people have undeservedly because we're lazy" to begin with? Why be coy with garbage rewards? Take some pride your freaking job or go work at McDonalds.
  5. At first I thought "hell no". But I think I would at least try it. I love Star Wars and developers will take advantage of that. If WoW followed the exact same path as SWTOR has so far, it would have failed so much faster. The love of the SW universe keeps fans playing for the most part. I will say this: if the same pvp devs and the people I see on the official twitch streams are involved in any future game I'm pretty sure I won't play as long as I have this game. Those guys are a joke and clearly have no idea what they're doing and/or don't take their jobs seriously with no repercussions for being terrible in the field they went to college for.
  6. Hey everyone This is a link to my new YouTube pvp video. It's mostly just a crit montage. I make videos because I like messing with Vegas and I will soon be starting school and then a career in digital media. So this is kind of like practice. Back in my wow days (before WOTLK) I was mesmerized by the editing and music with some of the more ****** pvp videos people made. That is why I do this. Not trying to showcase skills. I know I'm not elite, but I think I'm pretty decent. Any feedback besides your opinion on the music (because your taste differs from mine) or flaming me for "not playing right" is much appreciated. I just hope at leas someone enjoys the actual movie making aspect of it. Thanks for watching -Mitts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tg8Cz03xy7o
  7. Am I missing something here? Both of your screenshots show a bag full of hypercrates. That's like 25 grand worth of cartel coins because there's no way you bought that many on the GTN. Just curious.
  8. I'm sorry, but I'm a little confused. I rarely play my sniper and I haven't at all since 3.0. But the roll ability states that it purges slowing effects. What am I missing here? Was there a merc/commando on the other team?
  9. Whether they invited PVE players or not, the only thing that really got tested was PVP. Good job, Bioware. Your closed beta worked out great.
  10. Look, the whole F2P/Prefered status credit limit issue is negligible. As of right now everyone gets the option to somehow acquire a legacy cargo hold with no credit storage for their stronghold right? Just implement an "upgraded" legacy cargo for subscribers that has the credit option. Maybe something like a guild bank clone, but smaller. Heck I would be satisfied even if this was something I had to purchase from the cartel market (Here's a free of charge genius idea for you here Bioware ) Or add a limit on standard credit storage for non-subscribers. I don't feel this is thinking that far outside the box. One last thing: Someone in this thread stated that logging on different characters and depositing money into your legacy storage is as much of a hassle as logging onto different characters and mailing the credits to one character. What??? Sure it might be the same the first time, but you deposit it all once, and then it's always there. From then on whenever you decide you want to play a different character you can just make quick deposits whenever. The credits are always there for you to grab from when needed. It is nowhere close to the hassle of having to log on eight alts to mail credits to one alt just to buy something. Not to mention how awesome legacy credit storage would be when it comes to repairs or the fact that we still have to spend six figures just to re-mod a set of gear.
  11. And I want to clarify I did not purchase the CE.
  12. These responses baffle me and prove either the writer's ignorance, stupidity, illiteracy, or all three. When a would-be SWTOR player is browsing the different editions they see something under the collector's edition that states something like "regular updates" to the vendor. <--------THAT is part of the reason they spent the money in the first place. Because Bioware has not even come close to providing this, everyone who purchased the CE should have 75% of their money refunded to them. It's very simple really. I don't see why people are arguing. It's technically false-advertising and shouldn't be ignored.
  13. I don't think he's asking if anyone has ever been blown up like this. We all know what two ops/scoundrels can do to you. I think the point is to watch more closely for the timing/spazticity/oddness of it. I'm not implying anything though. This game is wierd sometimes.
  14. Why not just give a warning when someone requests a faction change that all of their previous class' specific things like story and companion missions will be reset? Let them start at chapter 1 with their new faction. I know there are countless complications to faction changes, but I think the class specific story line argument is a weak one.
