Bump I flashed the 6950 to the 6970

Antec high current gamer 620 watt power... m4n68t v2 asus mobo amd phenom x4 840 @ 3.2ghz hd 6950 2gb westen digital 500gb hdd (nothing special the hdd is around 4 years old)

What I mean by my gpu bein g held back is I read that 32bit can only support 4gb of ram (maybe less) and I read that the memory from the gpu is also incorporated in the 4gbwhole 32bit windows supports.

Not since before I got my 6950 (on xmas) ill do that when I get home from work. If my windows only recognizes less than 2 gb, could that be the reason my fps is suffering? Esp in wzs. Though in pve content I get 60+ usually around 100. Amd phenom ii x4 840 4gb ddr3 (possibly less due to 32bit) Hd 6950 asus m4n68t v2 mobo im positive my rigs compatible w 64bit. The only thing that's stock is the hp case. This is a completely separate issue, but im receiving master hard disk errors. Im about to purchase an oem version of win7 64. Should I see if that fixes my hdd errors or should I buy a new hdd? Edit* when checking my ram it says : 4gb (3gb usable) what does this mean?

So, I have a 32bit win7 os I know max 32bit can utilize 4gb of ram. I've been doing some research and... I have 4gb of ram in my system. I have the 2gb hd 6950 gpu. I get the feeling that my card isn't being used to its full potential as I read that 32bit can't recognize more than 4gb of ram across my RAM and my gpu. So is my card being held back?

Imo, the bh armor all looks like mandalorian armor just different colors and some slight variation. So to answer the question yes, all the time.

Bottom line, defensive stats are broken in pvp. I can't remember the post but there's a very good thread on the forums explaining why defensive stats in pvp are useless. I think the title of the post is something like "ops need a damage buff" (just to get peoples attn). But if you read it, you'll realize how crappy tanks are @ pvp. Tanks are *good* in huttball and one corridor on voidstar otherwise we suck. (Which is why I rolled a bh dps)

Post up here when you guys feel would be a *good* time for maintenance. I personally am a later player, my peak hours are between 10pm and 3-4am I would like server maintenance to be pushed back a couple of hours at the very least. 2am cst is way to early and i think everyone would agree. Think about the west coast people, midnight? MIDNIGHT? id shoot myself. im going to GUESS that theyre making 30-40% of their player base in the PST cut their night of swtor short. This has to stop. Push this crummy maintenance back two hours!

This is absurd. Don't waste your credits on purple gear for your companion. Whilst leveling I never geared vette, hell, im 44 and ill bet if I even pulled her out shed still be in her beginner gear. I never had one issue with leveling. Imo, don't try soloing 2 elites. If you're having problems with packs of mobs ie. 3 weaks, 1 strong and 1 weak, there's somthing amiss... maybe you're just not cut out for the jugg. You're rotation sounds good. I've been immortal since level 10. @ 42 I went vengeance and it was terrible, I would end combat @ 50% hp. While immortal I end every fight, even golds with 95% (using malavai). You need to be using scream on every cd, I never use assault, sunder is always up or a more useful ability is off cd. Make sure you're in your tanking stance as the dr is crazy. Just keep chuggin, don't try soloing heroics until you get quinn. Even then, don't touch the heroic 4s alone.

at that level you barely have any tanking abilities let alone the shields you get from talents. 42 jugg with my healing companion. You'll have no problem when you level a bit. Still cracks me up when people arent capped and think the class is broken. You're 17 you got a lot ahead of you buddy. All classes at different points in leveling are op/up depending on ac/level. Its pretty much a dance between op/up until cap. Which is where balance matters.

As did I. But, I have to say, my sw is an alt (tho about to surpass my 36 trooper to become my main), I skipped a lot of quests on tatooine and ald. So I may have gotten her early. To answer, its a class quest that happens to fall after alderran. She's sexy as hell.

I did see the difference in the trees, but it just seems to me that even the tank tree is a more dedicated dps tree than tanking. There's hardly any survivability talents. Idk granted im only level 11 im just a little...offput by the whole deal. Oh well.

This may sound crazy, but in the star wars universe, blasters are more prevalent than sword/lightsabres. That being said. You can tank upp close, bbut a majority of the time with trash, you're tanking from a slight distance. 9 out of 10 mobs use guns. So do you, semi ranged tanking is fun. Believe it.

Mortar is very effective. Grenades are amazing aoe. Ion/stock strike when close. Try to keep tabbing between targets (if they'll be ablive long enough) tab is a tanks best friend imo.

So, after picking my ac as vanguard as I love huge health pools, high armor, and going (ranged) toe to toe w the enemy I moused over all the talents. They are bad. All in all across all three, THREE trees, I saw a total of 3 to 4 actual survivability talents. Really? REALLY? I think the entire tree should be dedicated to surv. I don't need help holding agro... I've never had any issues holding agro. Why all the damage boosting/proc abilities to do damage? It doesn't make sense to me. please someone shine some light on as to why tanks need to have more damage talents than surv talents. I love tanking. Im not rerolling. If all you're going to pose is a couple of qs then don't waste your time. I want constructive, non patronizing posts please.
