That can be agreed upon. Instead of looking at it as a bridge between KOTOR 2 and SWTOR, it can be seen as KOTOR 3. But I know a lot of us would like a game instead. But I agree it could be KOTOR 3

Haha yes I'm well aware of other people in star wars than Jedi and Sith. However....It is called "KNIGHTS" Of the Old Republic for a reason. Its just hard to believe the 8 IC stories were meant for KOTOR 3, thus them deciding it to be SWTOR, a mmo. KOTOR 1 & 2 were based around Revan and the Exile, and the mystery shrouding the two, as well of other characters of course. I could understand why JK would be considered KOTOR 3, because it's the only IC story that has anything to do with the KOTOR time period just because of the Novel that connected the two together. But JK story is just one storyline, justifying why people would've preferred a KOTOR 3, a single player story. Instead of 1 story out of 8 that actually kinda connects to the past KOTOR franchises. All the other stories are great, but they are in the SWTOR era, not the KOTOR era. If that makes sense.

I'm looking forward to be looking forward all year to be looking forward to 2015...when all the SW games come out.

We can only hope, however, with what SWTOR showed and the novel, It will be very hard to fit a KOTOR 3 in there now. Unless they somehow drastically erase the story they made, or make a game about the novel? Unless they do it based on another character that isn't Revan or the Exile, which may be odd.

So you're saying KOTOR 3 could've revolved around a BH or a Smuggler? Guys I'm talking about KOTOR, which remember is set 300 years before the setting we are currently in. So the eight stories we have couldn't have been really tied to the KOTOR plot, except for JK, maybe JC or SW. I believe KOTOR back 300 years ago was a time of Revan, then the Exile. Unless they planned on making KOTOR 3 a ways away chronologically from KOTOR 2, before deciding to make SWTOR

Hey Guys, just a speculation that I produced in my head. I know its opinionated, leave your comments and own opinions below. We can all agree...KOTOR and KOTOR 2 were two great games. The storyline was supreme, the characters, the overall feel was great. We can also agree that TOR era was based around the character of Revan. A hero redeemed, blah blah blah. Ive played KOTOR 1 & 2 and I read "Revan" by my boi Drew. (Big fan of his books after Bane trilogy.) So I have some insight on the whole saga of TOR, like a lot of us do. Now, Being a great fan of TOR, Revan, and Drew, also I have enjoyed most of the Bioware games (Mass Effect series), Id have to say the course of action they took was disappointing to me. The two-punch hitter with KOTOR 1 & 2 were argued to be the best SW game out there, if not the best Story in a rpg. But what I do not understand is why not go for the third? Where's the strike 3? Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing SWTOR, im not bashing on this game at all. I enjoyed all of these storylines, yes even the counselor. However, in my opinion, the skipping of KOTOR 3 made all the possibilities of the franchise go into the dirt, maybe to be picked up again but not likely. Why? Well..the main character...Revan. After reading the book "Revan", SPOLIERS!, We can now agree that the book itself was a ploy to somehow get Revan into the MMO. EA move? or not. That probably wasn't a good choice. Why again? Well, just guess how much success a KOTOR 3 would've had, the closure, the finale, the last battle. Its like the last novel to a series of books, all the girls want it! TAKE MAH MONEY! Ahem. Instead, we get...well I'm not sure what they call it at Bioware. A open ended trilogy? Maybe. It just felt like the story was rushed into the MMO, severing the nice flow the original two set forth. There was no real finale. NOW don't get me wrong, I loved the novel "Revan". I liked how Drew continued the story of the Hero turned bad then turned good again. I loved it up to the point of.....*drumroll* The last 2 chapters. The Exile died, I wasn't to rocked by it into a rage, A good plot twist, A good shocker, I commend you Drew. T3 was destroyed, okay every book needs a tear jerker, I commend you Drew. Revan is defeated and put into prison. Okay, perfect turn of events that could lead to an awesome conclusion, Bastila and their son save the day? HK-47 saves the day? Where the hell is trust-issue Carth at? Mandalore the Preserver come save the day?.....Nice transition Drew! Now, lets schedule KOTOR 3 and get the conclusion. After that? THEN we hit the audience with an MMO, the new generation, 300 years after Revans conclusion. Leaving room for future KOTOR spin offs. SWTOR, continuing what happened after Revan. But..we didn't get that. We got a unfamiliar route, not used a lot when it comes to these vast sagas. The facts Obsidian released about the possible KOTOR 3 I thought were perfect, I thought the novel was great until it revealed its purpose of keeping Revan alive 300 years later...Another flaw, slightly, Revan is out of his time and no one can really fit Revan into the story of SWTOR, He now feels overused, and a lot of people want him dead, which is a shame, considering the legacy of the character. Enough of my rant, it will not change anything, however I wish to be a story director for video games in the future, and its just a flaw I saw, however SWTOR is a great game...The order IMO should've went KOTOR 1, KOTOR 2, KOTOR 3, then SWTOR. then IC stories would be considered SWTOR 2 SWTOR 3 SWTOR 4...so on. Instead of it being considered KOTOR 3 4 5 6 7 8. Because in my opinion SWTOR is not KOTOR..Why? lol because it is a MMO, and KOTOR wasn't an MMO. How am I dealing with this? I literally cut out the last chapter of the novel, and am currently waiting for KOTOR 3...lol...I can be patient. Im done!

Swtor is doing well....at least better than it was a year from now. I commend Bioware on an excellent 2013. There hasn't been any info for future expansions or plans.. So let's speculate! What do you think will come next??? I hope for some story content myself. I know personal stories aren't on their drawing board at all- however lets at least see some story and dialogue! Let's hear y'all's ideas!

So right to the point... I have finished reading the "Revan" novel by Drew something. And at the end of the story...to my dismay. (Spoilers) Lord Scourge kills the Exile, and betrays Revan becauseeee he saw a vision of another jedi knight killing the Emperor. So in SWTOR, the Hero of Tython, (the jedi knight class)..meets up with Lord Scourge. After completing all of the dialogue with Scourge...It was YOU who he saw in his vision that defeated the EMPORER. So at the end of Chp 3 the Knight kills the Voice of the Emperor who was thought to be the actual emperor, but it wasn't...as we learn at the end of the Warrior storyline..the Emperor is alive...Now many people think we will kill the emperor in a Ops or something but we cant....That wouldn't make sense...Bioware needs to solo it out between the Jedi Knight and the Emperor...that would make sense with Scourges vision and the novel...its the reason why Revan is the way he is because of the betrayal. REASON FOR NEW CLASS STORYLINES? I THINK SO! P.S- Unless they come out with another novel, or reason.

For RP and all that cool stuff, itd be awesome if we could interact with galaxy wide objects like chairs, couches, lifting weights, training droids...ALL DAY COOL STUFF!

Ive been with SWTOR since launch, without unsubbing.... Now...Ive noticed a lot about the updates and im afraid I took notice that SWTOR is revolving a lot around the Cartel Market now-a-days...They spend a lot of time on that dang market, but all I really wanted for a year and a half is new story for my character? like personal missions... Im starting to think maybe SWTOR is not going to deliver, I want them too...but im tired of all these CM benefits for casual players.... Ive been keeping track of MMOS lately, and I noticed The Elder Scrolls Online, which looks fantastic, but I always have stuck to Bioware for awesome story.... Can SWTOR leap out of this CM nonsense for its subscribers? Or do yall recommend I should unsub and head over to ESO when it comes out??? And what are yalls thoughts on how SWTOR will fight off other MMOS? Im not saying any MMO is going to kill one another, but there certainly will be some competition

Hey guys, I wanted to share some neat stuff with you all. The following is a Roleplaying Story-arch that was thought up and created by The Crimson Order on the BC server...Few things here, we set a basic plot story, allowing everyone to get into the character they wanted, then we set out on a 4 chaptered story experience that turned out beyond awesome...It was fun, it was exciting, and it was interesting...This is the first story Arch the Crimson Order attempted, and will continue to do many more due to its success- Each chapter was a separate event, each chapter was on a sunday weekly, ex: Chapter 1-May 17th...Chapter 2- May 24th and so on for 4 chapters....So! Here it is! This is exactly how it turned out, start to finish. This idea could be used by other RP guilds Story-Arch: " The Artifact" Prologue- 100 years before SWTOR timeline....lived a grey Jedi, his name was Saikou. This grey jedi had fought in many conflicts, but after those conflicts, the grey jedi moved to a quiet world to raise a family and to meditate. However, disaster struck, as a plague reached all over the sparsely populated planet. The grey jedi used all of his power to protect his family..but it was too much to handle for the old jedi...in a last desperate move, the grey jedi used all of his force to create a artifact out of an old data cube he had in his household...using fluid from plants around him to create a sustaining force powered object. He used this object through the force to create a force-shield around him and his family, allowing the family to wait out the plague as it died in time...But however the artifact seemed to boost the living force within each of the family members body, allowing them to survive their bodies decay longer than the average living being...which added many years to their lives...However 20 years after the plague hit, a young smuggler named Lanorn scanned the unpopulated planet for any profitable finds to give him fast credits. He learned of the Jedi family's homestead, he landed and scouted the house out while the Jedi was away looking for plants. The smuggler found the artifact, and decided it would be a great pay-off, he grabbed it and left the planet quickly. When the Jedi returned he noticed the Artifacts disappearance, but decided it was time to move on in his life without it...to let the force take its cycle....The smuggler warped back into the core worlds region...but on his way to Ord Mantell, he had a major malfunction with his ship, and his crash landed on Tython, the jedi homeworld. As the smuggler escaped the wreckage, he could not find the artifact anywhere, not even on the ship...he figured it fell out during his crash, so he left, and snuck off world............As we look closer, we find that the artifact is buried in the dirt of Tython never to be touched....Until...100 years later later... Chapter 1- " The Tide of Darkness" (100 years after the Prologue) It was a normal day for The Crimson Order ( A separate order allied with the Jedi, but founded by Revan before he left for the Dark callings)... Until Cratoren Arcadia, who is the Jedi Knight that leads the Order's most valiant and brave soldiers, receives a call from the Jedi council on Tython. The Crimson Order assembles its best jedi, Including Cratoren, a young male Cathar named Odirez, and a bright, strong young woman named Reeseomari. The Crimson Order elite squad "Reaper Squad" led by Commander Avens provided military support as well. This group of heroes made their way to Tython, and were informed that the Council sensed a dark presence deep into Tython, the group is tasked with finding the source, and bringing it to the Council for study and to be disposed of. The group sets out into the grass fields and hills, searching...The dark calling however grows stronger, as the three jedi sense it, they believe they are getting closer. Reaper Squad's SGT. Jeorge receives a signal coming from a flesh raider camp, the group decides to split into two groups, Reaper goes into the enemy camp, while the three Jedi press on to find the source. Reaper Squad fights through the Flesh Raider camp, and they find a datapad...covered in a thick black ooze...The squad sets out of the camp to rendezvous with the three jedi, but as they are about to comm the jedi, they are ambushed by a group of flesh raiders, while fighting them off, Commander Avens is killed as a flesh raider stabs him in the back. The Squad is saved by a young jedi on her trials named Aura, as they kill the last flesh raider. They notice now that Avens had died, and the datapad was in his pouch, but the black ooze from the datapad begins to slither on the corpse... Sgt. Jeorge who now takes command of the squad grabs the datapad, and they set out to find the three jedi, who had ventured into the cave that led to the Forge... However, when the all of this was happening to Reaper Squad, The three jedi knights Cratoren, Odirez and Reese ventured deep into the cave connecting the Flesh Raider territory with the ancient jedi ruins called The Forge. They started feeling the darkness call to them...with this connection they used it to get and idea to where the artifact was...But Cratoren started fighting the calling..fearing it would consume him, and it clouded his mind as he fought it off....Odirez however...had started acting..strange, saying things to convince Cratoren to not fight the calling, to use it, to use it to gain more power. Reese helped Cratoren to recover his minds strength, as it recovered, they finally made it to the Forge, and contacted Reaper Squad to meet them at a place they cleared out.. When the two groups met, they decided to continue on, to finish the mission. Odirez demanded Jeorge give him the datapad, so the confused SGT. did. Reaper Squad began to push the flesh raiders back to give the jedi room to search for the source around the forge....But, Reese discovers a ancient dungeon that plummets deep underground, beneath the fighting... The three jedi submerge into the depths...and here is where the dark calling is the strongest...It affects the mind of Cratoren again, Odirez however, sense the artifact nearby and runs to it, leaving the two jedi behind...Reese once again uses her power to clear Cratorens mind....Cratoren..realizing now what has happened, and what was happening in front of him, rushes after Odirez. Reese Calls for Reaper squads backup as they track down Odirez in the dungeon...Cratoren reaches Odirez, but when he finds him he sees Odirez holding a square datacube...That had bonded with the dark side of the force..after being in decay for so long...it had become corrupted and was oozing out dark ooze...like the datapad was...its infected Odirez's mind....and turned the young Cathar Knight...to the dark side... Cratoren demanded Odirez give him the artifact...but Odirez wields his lightsaber and screams and shouts quotes of power, he tells Cratoren he wishes to embark the will of his ideals on the galaxy...Cratoren ignites his white lightsaber, demanding once again....In an act of hope Cratoren puts his weapon away, and walks slowly to Odirez trying to calm him down, but just as he reaches for Odirez, the corrupted Jedi slashes Cratoren in the chest! and rushes away, SGT. Jeorge also trys to stop him, but is fatally wounded by Odirez's lightsaber as well. The group races after Odirez, but he escapes.. As Cratoren and Jeorge lay on the ground fatally wounded....But, Jeorge slides a medpac to the jedi knight...Cratoren uses it, and uses every ounce of his force powers to heal what he can in Jeorges wound...He carries the wounded Soldier to the temple, where the rest of the group meets them....Cratoren reports to the council and then gives a speech to the beaten and battered group...but as he speaks, Jeorge falls to the floor with the black ooze flowing from his wound... END CHAPTER 1// So that was just the first chapter, it took about 2 1/2 hours to complete, being it was so long to explain, ill let yall see how you like it, if you want to see the rest of the story including CHP 2, CHP 3, AND CHP 4 please say so in the comments! Spoiler Alert- I agree, I think the Makeb story brought our Characters out of the interlude phase and correctly introduced us to the new section of the war...The Republic is winning, and the Empire is on the brink of defeat. The Makeb story for the Republic was more...of a..let's see...Im not sure, like a refreshment for your character to come back into the story, like your job was to deal with this Hutt threat, make some allies, so you could focus on the war again... However for the empire, it was more desperate...You HAD to succeed on Makeb for the Empire to gain some sort of hope to turn the tide of the war... Now after this is conclcuded for both sides...Marr and Sareesh tell the player the plans of the war... Empire plans to bleed it out, Republic plans to press on and strike the Empire at key points.... So Chapter 5! Theres so much they could do with this, because theres so many areas to explore, so many loop holes...for example- What about the Revan/Emporer conflict? That could seize the war itself... - Tons of Dark Spirits out their to cause trouble for both sides -More planets to introduce, I think Manaan would be interesting because of its neutrality, though voss kinda captured that feeling...Dantooine would be a great place to introduce Revan again...Rakata Prime.... -I hope too that they bring back storylines for each class, because without it I feel bored in the "shared" storylines...like insignificant....I know Bioware can come up with great stuff, so I guess we will have to wait and see

Just a normal fp que...got a group... Then the commando...in Lvl 44 gear...in a Lvl 55 flashpoint..hard mode...started giving us role playing orders like " watch my flank" " keep me covered" and "Jedi get on my nerves" Funniest part though was on first boss of Hammer Station, the guy dies due to the explosion probes...we eventually kill the boss (over-geared)...after that he stated that he wouldn't let the Jedi lead him anymore and said he would be the tank...and the guy starts trying to tank the rest of the mobs...I taunt them to not allow him to die but he dies again...then he blames me for his death again and leaves...lol, that's when I saw my first Commando Tank!!

I have a few questions about the new Flashpoints coming in 2.3 hopefully on August 6th, Hopefully a developer can give some light on it? or not to avoid getting shot by the marketing crossbows mentioned in the live stream! 1st question- These will be Lvl 55 Flashpoints correct? 2nd question- How will the story be revolved around these Flashpoints? How are they themed? Are they revolved around the hutts and makeb like the expansion? Or will they be about something else....say maybe finding revan? Going back to some Kotor lore like T5/MP and BP/TF? Last Question- will one of these Flashpoints offer a 2 man mission? Like black talon and esseles? Also will the gear work the same as the other 55 fp's? Thanks in advance if anyone has answers or if one of the developers answer! Just a little hint is fine with me:)

Honestly, I think Nar Shadaa was a good atmosphere for all the stories...But after that, i mean it was like it degraded and the phases where you go to your story events after Alderaan and etc were all that were interesting. For jedi..i felt like Voss was a good planet! But... They should bring in Kashykk or Dantooine

I've just recently finished Makeb's Story, IMO it was a good ride, nice to see my character in story and narrative action again. But now that Makeb has concluded and grinding new gear and weeklys as well as operations have begun, I couldnt help but think of ideas of the next major story installment. Here some of my opinions and please leave your thoughts and ideas. SPOILERS AHEAD, DON'T LOOK.....UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SPOILED So, ROTHC introduced the Hutts as a major benefactor to the war between the Republic and Empire. It was a interesting story, what was most interesting to me though were the starting and finishing points of the story, that really showed how the Makeb conflict effected the war. The Republic side gained the Hutts wealth and power to help finish the Empire, who are now on their heels. So.....with this what can Bioware do to draw us in more? New Planet? certainly! New Class stories? Oh god yes!!! I know that SWTOR hit a slump earlier in its carrer, but reports show the F2P option has really helped it out, so im hoping this will result in advanced content like extensions to our story as classes. So with this in mind, ive thought up some ideas for my personal favorite, the Jedi Knight story. My personal belief for a great story is for Bioware to go back to what we all love the most, IT'S ROOTS!!! Go back to what we loved about the KOTOR 1 AND 2 stories, planets, and atmosphere. I have been seeing requests to what planet should come along next in the next major expansion. The following are the ones ive seen in great deals of requests. -Kashyyk(if i spelled it right) -Mustafar -Rakata Planet from KOTOR - Mandalore -Dantooine - And yes...a guy said Geonosis Personally, I think the ones i would like to see are Dantooine or Kashyyk.....But out of those too, i think Dantooine can support a place for all of our class stories, why? Because Dantooine has so many plots and lore to it, that im surprised its not in the original SWTOR game. What would bring our characters here?....You ready? here it is.... REVAN! yes i said his name....Why him? During the foundry, we see him dissapear, not die, there was no body and the writer of the novel states that they left him alive for a reason. So, heres my story...enjoy Revan, now defeated and hopeless to finish his goal has seen how delusional he has been. His wife is gone, his son, and now his companions have all but fallen. Revan returns to the place he was trained as a jedi, Dantooine. He returns to the very spot he had trained and redemed, and sits to rest and meditate. Meanwhile, as the Jedi Knight Cratoren( or what ever yalls names are) and the other Republics Heroes battle to finish the Empire, Master Satele Shan senses a presence on the Planet of Dantooine, one she believes would become a great factor in the war. ( Quick elaboration here, this may as well be the JK story) She sends Jedi Knight Cratoren alond with Lord Scourge and the rest of their group to investigate the tremor in the force on this scarcly populated planet that will soon spark a mysterious chapter of the next step Revan will take. What will the encounter be like between Scourge and Revan? will Revan take kindly to what The Jedi Knight character has done to the emporer? Claiming it is his destiny? Why not bring Bastile Shan's ghost back to talk to Revan? Revan can may as well become a companion? there's an idea.. Revan is closely tied to the story of the JK, because of their destinies. Thats all can really say, but listen i want to hear other ideas! Smug/ trooper/ consular/ warrior. inq/hunter/ agent all of their stories that could be tied to Dantooine! BRING US DANTOOINE AND PERSONAL STORIES, BRING US BACK REVAN!
