I played three betas for ToR and knew it was gonna be weak. I've played GW2 for a little bit and the combat alone is worth the buy.

You mean the guy that said a bunch of people beating on the same monster isn't heroic?

If they spent as much time and money on actual game play and a decent engine, the game would actually be good.

1. I had hoped they fixed the combat from over a year and a half ago. 2. Thought there would be another reason for "choice" other than consmetic 3. Its not Warcraft 4. Game play is the reason people play video games. And technically i'm not here.......i'm every where (other than subbed) while i wait for D3, Heart of the Swarm, and GW2

Ive had a ton of consoles since the intellivision. I've played most of the MMOs out today. I don't need to be an engineer to tell you that a ford festiva is crap. Your logic is an appeal to authority. Too bad it sucks. If you really REALLY think the story in this game is "good" then you don't know what a good story is. However, perhaps you are right, maybe i am "spoiled". I graduated with a folklore minor so maybe i am spoiled. But lets use your own logic.......the first super mario had maybe one paragraph of story narrative and i played that game for hours and hours. One quick question....guess why it didn't need a lot of "story"? Because it was a good game for its time and didn't need it. But with ToR, story is the focal point and everything else was an afterthought including combat responsiveness. The problem is, video games have a thing where combat responsiveness is required and the irony? Story sucks. Like i said, a bad WB show. (if there is such a thing as a good WB show. This is more like Disney star wars. Its a good game for people that don't read, baddies, and beginner MMO players.

Look at my join date. You can watch someone else' story or create your own. A dialogue wheel does NOT equal "good story". Its a cosmetic replacement for game play. And a tad bit more on the "story"...... Have you ever read a classic novel? Or how about someone who just writes exceptionally well...i.e. Christopher Hitchens? If you're going to advertise a game for its "great story" make sure you have "great writers". Standing around exchanging a dialogue for 30 seconds is NOT a "great story". That kind of story has no depth, character development, story archs, etc. This is worse than a WB show....for clarification..... The WB is to good stories like crunch berries are to fruit.

Rolling an alt does not equal end game content. Furthermore....most of the planets are boring and linear, going through them again is hardly an option.

Cooked numbers are cooked. Take a look around dude. Its a bad video game and as a result it's bleeding subs. All but two in my guild have quit. One of those people was in a 50+ guild imperial side and they have ALL quit. Reality is not so nice to ToR fanboys.

What if you join a guild, and everyone quits because they think the game is bad?

Sorry you're butthurt. Bad game is bad. Regardless of your fantasy, people just dont go from game to game complaining the whole time. Just the $60 bad ones. And no, its not all i have. I didn't invest emotionally into this like a lot of people have. Makes no difference to me, but i have the capability to live in reality.

I was finished with it a while ago. I long while ago actually. However with that being said, it has better game play than this. Now its just a waiting game for me. League of Legends until Heart of the Swarm, D3 (beta is fantastic), and GW2 comes out.

I finally got to play the D3 beta over the last couple days. And although i am a MMO fan, its refreshing to play a decent video game again.

You haven't played many MMOs or are simply not good enough to notice that the combat in this game plays like an over cooked noodle.

You weren't a very good WoW player i would bet. This is a good game to hide how bad people are.

Cooked numbers. All but three out of my guild have quit. One of the three that stayed has a imperial guild on another server and he said they have all quit. Any reviewer not receiving kick backs from either EA or Bioware gives bad reviews. Most of the folks here get their feelings all hurt and call trolls. I think its neat that gamers have a game they really enjoy. Great for you....hope you have fun. However, those of us that know games and or actually good at them, know this game isn't very good. In fact, its not good at all. I hope it does continue to have a good player base. This is a game for bads and beginners. I would bet money that anyone that had a hard time playing other MMOs (PvP specifically) just loves this game.

I love how you fanboys try and convince yourselves that this is a good game by first trying to boast the "story" thing and when it came out it's garbage, you try numbers to prove that sooooo many people just love the game. Serious gamers know its garbage.

Anyone who says software cannot kill your PC is dumb. Lets try this, go instal furmark, start it right before you go to work, then get back with me in a day or two to see how your PC is holding up.
