I find this is super annoying too. I main healer so I want to queue for PvP/FPs as a healer; but I also want to do Heroics & Dailies whilst I wait for the group finder queue. With the current system that means having to do Heroics & Dailies in heal spec which is much slower than running them as DPS. It would be great If the system would automatically switch me to an appropriate spec or loadout, based on what I queued as, on entering the instance, then I can choose whatever spec appropriate loadout I want to use when I'm loaded in.

This It works, as with many speed boosts it does not apply outside of combat or at least not if you have sprint on. One thing I'd suggest is to heal from cover whenever possible (something that not many people seem to do) it makes you immune to leaps(and the annoying 1s interrupt associated with it) and pulls. Also you don't have the cover buff or the visible cover like a GS/Sniper so whilst in a casting animation it's impossible to tell you are actually in cover, it usually takes a second or two for them to realise why their leap/pull does't work . This also applies to any cap attempts on novare/voidstar/civil war. Be sure to go for the expertise buff often, especially on civil war where you can grab them easily as soon as they respawn if you;re fighting at the middle point. For ability use mostly what others have said, that it's very situational and over time and with practice you should start to pick up a natural feeling on what to use and when. Keep Slow Release Medpac with 2 stacks up on many people to provide the upperhand procs. Try to be aware of where people are and if possible use Kolto Cloud with an aim to hit multiple people. If possible I will run through the middle of my teammates and cast it on myself giving heals to myself and giving me more control over who receives the healing. Overall I would say to learn from the guides and threads on here and other sites but don't be afraid to try other things that you think may work, sometimes the optimal stats and strategies for other's playstyle may not fit yours. It's pointless for people to be saying "oh but they're useful for alts" and all the other excuses presented, the simple fact is there is no good reason for why there are not rewards usable by every class. It should not have been difficult for Bioware to see common sense and realise that if they ever give away unique items they should be available to all classes because as others have said not everyone has or is interested in rolling every different class. Personally I have purchased 4 of the bowcasters, 2 for my sniper and 2 for my vanguard, however my main is a scoundrel which I have spent a lot of time on and these weapons are no use to the character I care the most about. There is no excuse for why the event does not benefit every class equally.

I know what data mining is and how it works, the items were found which means they do exist, if they are obtainable however is a different thing. Like the whole white crystal thing, it existed but was unobtainable for a time.

I'm looking for some clarification on mastercrafted items. It's the middle of a Sunday, after an event that has made people want to play the game again. Of course you will have queues. That said it's currently 5:30PM and I have a 15 minute queue, that is nothing. You obviously weren't on the server for launch when we had queues in excess of 5 hours. Use your 15 minutes to do something constructive, check your e-mails, read some news, make a drink or some food. Hell the only reason i'm in this thread is to kill time during the queue.

Just had a look at the codex myself and realised that you're right, I got loathesome at Dark V but the codex says it should be for Dark IV. Either a bug or someone forgot to edit the codex. Either way i'm gonna put in a bug report about it, pretty much all you can do. I don't have diplomacy and never have so it's not that.
