  1. As I was looking through the legacy vendor I noticed something odd. Every non-force user class has a weapon from this event EXCEPT commandos. Why didn't commandos get a new weapon; when snipers, operatives, mercenaries, powertechs, scoundrels, gunslingers and vanguards all got a piece? Was there a specific reason why we were excluded?
  2. The butt and crotch flaps ruin the entire outfit. Their art department isn't producing gear that players want as far as I understand. They need to have cosmetics that players like. The endgame gear is just one example of Bioware saying screw you here's some ugly armor that we want you to wear. If they got rid of those flaps on this I'd buy 4 sets for my characters
  3. I don't like the current look, if only the weird skirt was gone and it looked more like the imperial trooper armor I'd use it
  4. 1. How do you think your Vanguard spec is perceived by other classes? Assault is OP for top tier PvE, great all around PvP. Tactics is interesting and has a unique playstyle 2. How do you perceive your own spec? Assault is pretty amazing for vanguards compared to the commando equivalent. The 100% proc from Ion Pulse is amazing and I find my vanguard to be incredibly fun and powerful. Having a short interrupt is crazy useful, and harpoon being available as DPS spec as well is great. Love the burst dps and sustained on assault. Tactics looks cool but is the equivalent of commando assault, completely useless as of now (aside from some low tier tree choices to fill the rest of your points).

Amazing, love playing DPS as Assassin. Tanking tree looks good as well but I've already got 2 tanks. Nothing needs tweaking for DPS at least
  6. 1. How do you think your Gunslinger spec is perceived by other classes? Utility, burst damage, one of highest sustained damage classes, lots of choice in skill trees 2. How do you perceive your own spec? My gunslinger is too good. Compared to my commando in campaign, my gunslinger SS in rakata can out dps him by a moderate amount, even when I'm in saboteur I get the same dps as SS (slight decrease in 1v1 for a big bonus to 1vMany DPS). It's fun to play but a lot about him seems OP, which makes me kind of regret playing my other characters. They aren't penalized enough for all their benefits. We're given the best ranged dps sustained and burst (versus commandos, sages) the best utility (stun, aoe 8sec sleep, snare, high defense, moderate armor, low cooldown defensive abilities such as shield probe and dodge, and tons of options in our skill trees to increase our utility further) and the farthest range. The commando has 5% damage reduction and a full CC, other than that the gunslinger murders them in every other field. Sages have great longevity, good cooldowns, DPS, and good utility but still don't match gunslingers.
  7. 1. How do you think your Commando spec is perceived by other classes? Other classes look at commando's as the noob AC class, for healing it is least favourable, DPS assault is significantly worse than the vanguard DPS tree especially at the highest tier raiding, with the extra range being extremely useless in every boss fight I've seen, Gunnery is decent but lacks mobility or utility. It is seen as having the lowest skill level required to play, and is very unrewarding for players with the capability to handle more. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? I love both styles of Gunnery and Assault DPS, and the combat medic tree seems to be fun as well. But I believe our DPS specs particularly are significantly weakened for our supposed benefits. Being a 30m range class, I expect a small compensation to medium and short ranged dps classes. But that's not quite the problem, they also have mobility AND utility. Melee dps have almost no channeled abilities and no activation time abilities besides the shadow/assassin AC's. They also have tons of utility for control. The assault spec commando right now is really bad, after the updates Gunnery gets a 1600 on my parse where as assault is getting 1350. Prior 1.3 assault was my main spec and was parsing 1300, Gunnery 1190. The gear level for these two periods is different, but the massive decrease in assault was evident. Assault commandos are getting penalized for their mobility so much, that it is no longer a valid DPS tree PvE, and I would suggest against it even in PvP. Assault commando's need an increase in sustained dps, either by allowing incendiary round to stack twice, to increase the amount of Damage over Time, or a base increase to some abilities. Right now gunnery is fine in PvE, as most of the commandos utility is PvE focused (CC and knockback versus interrupts and snares) but PvP is terrible

  9. Are there any plans for being able to use joysticks and other devices rather than the mouse for space combat ? Also, is there any reasoning behind having the view during space missions locked in, where the ship spirals but your view doesn't? Flying in space to me means feeling the movements that my ship makes, and I'd like to see space combat where I can feel like I'm moving with my ship (not just playing a mini-game), dodging asteroids, as long as it's done right and not jerky and mind warping.

  11. Panda-like race that uses heavy mercenary/trooper armor and techstaves. They would have skills like knocking sith into the air, ground pummel aoe attack, and like a cyclone skill that is immune to interrupts and charges forward 10m over a few seconds swinging the staff around like crazy. Also, your allys can ride you into battle and feed you treats
