  1. That is how it worked in Beta. I had that exact look for most of my Beta experience.
  2. I worked in a 24 hour shop when I was active duty Air Force and we did not get holiday's off. We worked rotating 12 hour shifts. Basically, 1 year I would get Thanksgiving off, but work 12 hour shifts for 3 days on 3 days off at Christmas. The next year I would have Christmas off, but work 12 hour shifts for 3 days on 3 days off at Thanksgiving.
  3. I'm not one to point out issues with forum posts, but, for the love of all that is holy, PARAGRAPHS are your friend.
  4. I got 1000 bonus points for my CE... I don't know why you didn't.
  5. I submitted my ticket asking to have the ones that are unobtainable awarded to my character, as the are the only ones I am missing, as multiple types (Bug Report, Mission Issue, Item Issue, etc.) and they all got closed and told that I would not get any more response on the issue, due to the type of issue I submitted it as. What is the correct Sub-type to submit a ticket under to actually get a response from a CSR in-game?
  6. I would much rather see them fix the god damn codex.
  7. I think you are going to be in the minority in wanting Gungans, ewoks and jawas as playable races.
  8. But Nihilus didn't use the life force of the people he consumed to extend his own life. Also, Nihilus only consumed life force, not the force. That is the difference.
  9. I just wanted to point out 1 thing here. When Vitiate feeds on a planet, he devours the FORCE, not just the life force of the sentient being, but the actual FORCE ITSELF. So, yes, he needed a ritual, but what he did was more elaborate. Also, his devouring was a little different, as eating all that life force is what made him (semi)immortal.
  10. I think the entire point of the KotOR story line was to truly examine in-depth the ineptitude of the Jedi way of life. How choosing to wait instead of act in the face of adversity doesn't make for the right choice. How choices in war should fall into the grey area. What made Revan such an influential character was his choice to go against his teaching for the greater good. Any soldier has to make the hard choice between what is moral and what is right. Revan choose what was right. Now saying that, I believe, as I played the games, that what was said about him as a General and as a tactician was true. You call it character reference, but the people who made these statements were there. They saw what he was capable of and they were awed by it. Therefore, he was incredible in this respect. As for his power with the force. I agree, no one has ever mastered the force. Saying that, Revan was an incredibly powerful Sith and Jedi, which means he got closer than most. As for G-Canon. I disregard it usually, and not because I don't like what it did with Revan. I disregard it because I have read much of the EU and played many of the games. I determine my own canon. George Lucas lost all rights to tell me what was canon when he took credit for other people's writing (in regards to Episodes V and VI) and then released the abominations that were Episodes I-III and completely destroyed 2 of my favorite character back stories while doing so (Vader and Boba Fett). Also, even after being as big a Star Wars fan as I am, I will never believe that Palpatine is the most powerful Sith ever. He didn't do **** worth mentioning that makes me think he was a powerful force user. I don't consider essence transference to be that impressive. The Emperor during the TOR time period can devour the live and the force energy of an entire planet. The only other Sith to come close to that power was Nihilus, and Vitiate is more powerful because he did not lose himself in the hunger like Nihilus did. I will agree that Luke is, no contest, the most powerful force user ever to live. That is wholly obvious through EU.
  11. I wasn't trying to be an *** or anything. I was just letting you know how Bioware/EA will probably look at it. I personally have no problem with a shared account.
  12. I hate to be this guy, but their answer will probably be along the lines of, you aren't really supposed to share an account. You should have a seperate account for each person playing the game.
  13. I play both SWTOR and The Secret World and don't have any plans to leave either any time soon.
  14. You do realized that when you go to the unclaimed item list, you can return items for a full refund, right?
  15. Read the EULA. You did not purchase the game, you are leasing the software from Bioware/EA.
  16. You apparently don't know this, but it is a fairly well known belief by companies these days that you do not own a game when you pay for it. You are leasing the rights to use their software. Read the EULA. This is the reason game stores can't re-sell PC games.
  17. The problem is, the item in the Cartel Market specifically says it works for all characters in your legacy when you buy it. It doesn't. So, they need to either make it work for all characters. like it says, or change what the item says and refund my money, as I bought all 3 on my 50 who already had speeder I and II, just so I could unlock them on my other characters.
  18. The reasons for only humanoid races was given multiple times (these are paraphrased quotes from developers, as I am too lazy to find the original posts). The voice acting issue: Hearing someone speaking Shyriiwook in every cutscene would really grate on the nerves. The romance issue: No one wants to suck face with a Mon Cal.
  19. It's actually KotOR II she is thinking of. You have to collect the pieces of HK-47 to reactivate him.
  20. I believe that if the Jedi Order had allowed the Jedi to join the Mandalorian Wars, that the Jedi Civil War never would have happened. The Mandalorian Wars would have ended quicker and Revan and Malak would never have needed to resort to the extreme measures they took as a result of a lack of Jedi forces.
  21. Yeah, I was in closed beta from the beginning and was playing the game on the first day of EA and still had to change 3 of my characters names. I am alright with that. Get over it.
  22. There is also an unused texture in the game of Mandalore with his helmet off and it is Canderous with a beard. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Mandalorenohelmet.jpg
  23. The KotOR games are some of my favorite RPGs of all time, and I am very content with the direction they took and the end they chose for Revan's story. As stated previously, Revan's mind had been ravaged be the Emperor for 300 years, the strike team that attacked him was the best of best and he puts up a damn good fight. My only dissagreement with what was said in this thread is the idea that Revan was committing genocide out of insanity. After Revan's redemption, he was always considered more of a Grey Jedi than a pure light character. He understood the lengths that had to be taken in war. He was willing to do what needed to be done. I think he was totally in his right mind when he came up with that plan.
  24. Sadly, I didn't make up this back story. It is canon. It is in the Revan novel.
