Look at my post on the other thread you opened. The Intel something looks like integrated graphics and those aren't usually good for gaming.

The info I wound about it through quick googling didn't say anything about graphics card so I presume that it's some kind of integrated system (pages by bestbuy). If so it might struggle quite badly. For gaming you want something with proper graphics card. It has enough memory and the processor is apparently little faster than in my current computer that runs the game in satisfactory level.

Indeed sounds strange as I have a computer of lower range than your's and the game runs fine. Only problem being my low ram causing uneven performance (30-90 FPS usually). You might already have done all this but I would also check that the case is clean and the fans are running fine (my CPU fan is wailing when running the game) and also check what processes are running in the background. Good luck...

While that does help I'm afraid that people are reluctant to reroll their characters even though it means waiting for hours. About US player playing in EU servers and other way around, During beta I played in US servers without any major lag (I live in Finland). The latency can be too much but it also might not, so you might want to try it out. Having characters on different servers can be a pain though for those active in guilds or just liking to concentrate on a single character at a time so that won't help everyone either... Hard problem for BW to solve for sure.

It's early morning in Europe now and many people are still sleeping. I myself have just woken up (GMT+2 here) and I'm early because of my kids... Edit: I'm contemplating on making characters in US servers for those times when EU servers are crowded. Haven't had queues yet but I think the rp server I rolled in was brand new. Might be different story tonight.

If they enjoy powerleveling then i'm genuinely happy for them. Congratulations! In lotro the powerlevelers were usually the guys who when our guild (kin) was doing instances would go: "We need a healer? Wait i log in with my alt" so they are actually handy and can contribute to the community. While i don't do it myself i really like these guys (well some of them atleast).

Just roll a new character on his account. If it becomes an issue it can be deleted and your man doesn't lose anything while you get to atleast scout out what you are going to do when you finally get in with your own account.

When i can finally be bothered to log in i'll propably choose my server based on server load. Have heard horror stories about the EU server loads...

Nice! It seems I get to play the coming weekend and the kids will be at grandparent's too(5:th here). Was hoping for saturday but expecting last day entry so I'm happy.

I'm expecting next monday (19:th) so I can be only positively surprised. Also no way of knowing if they come up with some serious problem and the process gets delayed, after all that is why they are keeping the entry order so vague. I wouldn't complain if I would gain access for saturday though...

I know that i'm not pissed off as everything is going the way they said it would. 4. I think the last ones were to get in 19:th of december. With the 2 day headstart it might have been moved. 5. Has there been problems with the actual EGA? All i see is forum rage but it seems the EGA itself is going smoothly.

The one game magazine i have read actually liked the idea of staggered entry...

I just don't buy games that I don't know much about. Preordered in early december after trying out the beta. I'm not really worried about how many days i get to play before the launch date as it won't matter in the long run.
