  1. Was there an announcement about it? If your over 60 it seems like a non issue, but why punish the leveling process.
  2. What was the logic behind level gating who can do veteran flash points,and changing it randomly. I hope more then anything this is a strange bug, as it states in the patch notes they still scale 1-80. But leveling a new toon and not having the option to hop into a FP now and then seems like a ridiculous system change with no explanation.
  3. the best chocies are slot 1 : 355 power proc Slot 2 : 224 kinetic damage proc from palace.
  4. we had our combat medic in mostly t1.0 and pvp meh loot tank heal through nightmare. You're one and only job, is to target the tank, and spam him. CM are amazingly powerful tank healers with some serious cool downs. Kolto bomb should be kept on CD on the tank at all times for the bonus healing. tank spike? SCC and drop kolto and advanced on the tank, now he's super man. Dont tab, dont multi heal, you have sages and smugs for that, find your tank, make him a god.

  8. Bumping to get this back up. On stacking crit becoming futile, I will continue to disagree, reaching 45% now im getting to the point that I rarely don't crit,also remember each crit is rolled on its own, not as a set, 33% means every attack as a 1/3 chance to crit. The biggest pain that I can see is that hit takes up so many gear slots, more so then any other MMO I've played, even in wow, you needed one or two really big hit items and you were pretty much set, here, I half or more of my gear has hit on it, still only 99.5% If our dps is ever truly going to start scaling in a meaningful way, they need to re-think how hit chance work and how much of the stat we actully need, I'v had to pass on alot of the T3 raid armor mods ect because if i put them any where, I lose to much crit or too much surge. I'd love to replace the crit/acc ones with power/crit, but its just not feasible.

  10. Cast speeds will never mater until alacrity effects ammo regen. The moment it changes how fast we regen ammo, then we'll stack the death out of it and never hammer again, until then, avoid it like its the plague.
  11. the wording seems to really confuse people. Armor pen is armor pen remember that. Over 100% acc converts into expertise if you were a wow player.
  12. alacrity is horrible for dpsing, spend the points in the stam/heals taken talents, your healers will thank you.
  13. I never said I don't hammer shot, my point is that once you start getting near 50% crit on everything, you really start to hammer shot much less.
  14. With every other or both of my Grav rounds being free cast, FA resupplying its self, energy cell, recharge, and slamming grav after grav with few to no hammer shots, yes, its hard to run out of ammo.

  16. Hey thanks for the thread bump, still work to be done. Right now, At 42% raid buffed crit and 85ish surge, I can tell you that gaining the 9% haste from those talents would **** up my regen and rotation horribly. At zero haste grav round at my level crit is basically free, unless its karga or gharj and i need to aoe heavily out side of normal, I can't spend ammo fast enough to even get close to the point of going low. Haste, would ruin that, as you'd be casting above the regen ticks, and you want to cast below them.
  17. So your argument, that AS is better PVE then Gunnery, because of how it preforms in PVP? I hope you understand how silly that sounds.
  18. The one and only glaring issues I see is your build has the points in alacrity, and you have a rotation listed. As gunnery, you need to avoid every single point of alacrity possible, you want 0. at 1.5 cast time grav round with a crit, becomes almost free. If you grav round durring a ammo tick and crit, you now didnt spend any ammo. Rotation. Because of above facts, and cell charger. Rotations are pointless, only priorities. 1. Full Auto with CoF proc. 2. Full Auto 3. Demo round at 5 debuff. 4. High Impact bolt with 5 stacks of charged barrel. 5. Grav round if the above are on CD, and above 7 ammo. 6. Hammer shot if at 7 ammo. As you're crit begins to climb, you will notice less and less ammo issues, eventually you will 100% of the time proc Cell charger when possible. When this becomes true, your ability to fill time with grav rounds increases, and your need to hammer shot decreases. TL:DR follow the chart for which button to push, as crit goes up the list becomes more important. Speaking from a raid perspective,my thoughts on Grav vs CB Grav round will keep up your debuff, keep your stacks, and follow the flow, in many fights that require build up time,switching, most things burn down so fast, rarely will you have time to build your debuff and stacks, use everything else, and still have time to swich. More importantly, untill we can parse this stuff or sim, we'll never really know which is better. Just my thoughts. *EDIT* I can't belive this skipped my mind, the big issue being, you can NOT stack barrel with charged barrel, so you will lose out the dps of the highest HIB crits.

We define where and when battle happens. And when all hope is lost, when the force abandons the jedi and the sith are moving in. Well... You're holding a 105mm howitzer in your hands, and you have a full box of ammo strapped to it. The force may have its plans, but with your gun YOU STRIKE LIKE THE FIST OF AN ANGRY GOD, and decide the fate of war your self,one shell at a time.

  21. Gunnery is the pve spec, there are a good many threads as to why. For heavy, sustained damage the hard casts of gunnery will demolish AS very quickly. Most of the time I hit a button a crit of 3400-5200 pops up, with my FA triple critting in the 8-10k range with all cd's/pots. AS will not keep up with that kind of damage output. BUT As will dominate in battle grounds due to multi dotting and on the move dps. TL:dR Gunnery: pve PVP: AS
  22. So after playing around with gear an upgrades, I've noticed two things. Using rak stims. at passive 38% crit and 86% surge. the 550 surge adreal, pushed me to 99.30 surge, with a max demo round crit for 4.6k, with the odd 5.2k every now and then. Now, using the 550 power one, I get the same 4.6k demo crit, with the same 5.2k extream high, but also, FA crits above the 2.7k, toping out at 2.9.
  23. Update in the next few days as it gets compiled. But looking at a vacuum of 100 base damage over 100 hits. It may appear that our stat priority will be Aim>Crit>power>surge.
