I'm a sentinel and i approve this...

A good player with a sentinel is dangerous, a bad player with a sentinel is bait. If you think sentinels are a broken class then you are the bait. Only thing that needs fixing is Master strike, pretty much stun yourself for 3 seconds when it misfires. Combat and focus will be useful with 1.2, which it should. I just hope they don't buff it and make it OP. I'm getting a bad taste in my mouth on how many people are rerolling to sentinel class because they think 1.2 is going to make them OP, that or they are not good enough to adapt to their class changes. I'll stick it out as watchman regards to the talent moves and FF nerf. Hard to play a rotation on a sent as you pretty much use all your abilities, such a situational class. Also, having to build focus in order to use abilities is more difficult than expending already available energy/focus/ammo and maintaining it. That's what makes it a difficult class to play in comparison to other classes. IMO.

I don't think it's going to be as bad as people make out if i'm honest with you Mikey boy. Get on the PTS, transfer your character over and trial it. You are raging too hard on too many threads, not enough focus on the positive outcome post 1.2

Combat spec is getting buffed slightly because at this point it is borderline useless. Whereas Watchman spec is getting slightly nerfed, by swapping the talents slightly and practically gimping Force fade. I think you are falling in line with the rest of the herd to be honest. Also, why did you reroll? did you honestly have fun spamming grav round and using Knockbacks in Huttball? I personally think you are an incredibly bad gamer who relies heavily on easy classes. the proof is in the pudding love. You are rolling a sent because your class is being corrected to make it slightly more challenging for you, you are theoretically choosing what people say is the next OP class. I assure you, you will be disappointed. Fyi, I'd gladly take a nerf to keep useless players like you away from our class. I would also trade DPS for a few more CC abilities. SO either way sunshine, i couldn't give two Siths if all you Bishes on here is going to bring a nerf our way. PS. I say this in a respectful manner towards you, despite the fact i believe you deserve a lot less.

I believe they are closing the area down for a revamp. Which is wise in my opinion, spend a few months getting it right.

I bet i do. On our server the best OP in my opinion is Blankwave, a good player will persist through slight nerfs and still come out good. As much as i hate to admit it, but he will, i have no doubts. The only person that truly gives me any problems on our server.

Helm of Graush- Pretty well balanced in terms of PvP, great guilds on both sides of the war and more importantly, the population balance isn't crazy out of portion. Try it, look around. takes no time to get to level 10, if you are not happy, try another server.

I noticed them try and smack you with their most powerful attacks whilst you had defensive buffs up. The class is so misunderstood. I know what most debuffs do on my hotbar during fights, and i know what buffs are on my enemy. I have no rotation because this class is purely situational and demands all 3 hotbars to be used. (for me at least) Play it on a wing and a prayer.

Every post you contributed to this thread is 100% correct. Patch 1.2 is primarily focused on spec balancing, but as you said, people are just not understanding this. Yes, there will be a lot of people rerolling Sents/Maras now, but that itself is frustrating. Because like you and i who rolled sents as our main during early access (you being longer) we'll still be dropped in the same stereotype as the guys who rolled the FOTM class due to not understanding the true nature of patch 1.2. No idea how the mechanics work whatsoever. I said earlier in Gchat, that i would gladly take a nerfbat to the face if it stops many people rolling these classes based on hearsay.
