Given BWs track record, every time they change the mechanics of the game, it's been simplified and dumbed down. I would be shocked if they made it where each of your toons had a unique play style; kind of like how when the game first came out. Of course, this won't kill the game as some people may think but will cause some people like myself to leave. I've been playing since beta and I'm tired of learning new game changing mechanics.

From what I've read, it sounds like as long as the digipass maintains power during the battery swap it should be fine.

I sure the devs won't read this and if they do, I'm sure they won't care but you don't know unless you try. Please make pvp match making based on skill, for both ranked and unranked. It's so annoying being match with people that have no idea what they are doing, or getting matched with people way better then me.

I was just about to go on a rant about how full of it Chris is but I think you summed it up pretty well. I really hate how he keeps putting out post about how he cares about our opinion but then does the complete opposite.

Couldn't agree with you more. First the stupid new intro music, by the way, I mute before starting up the game so I don't have to listen to that garbage and now this. They love taking stuff that has worked for years and making it worse. It's reasons like this that I have to take breaks from the game; love the game, hate the devs.

When trying to use the /ginvite command it says "Player is not online or doesn't exist". This happens every time, even when I copy and paste their name. The only way I can invite someone to a guild is when they stand right next to me.

That will be the day.

Can't wait for 6.2.1 tomorrow. These devs are the worst, I'm not saying I would or could do better but if I was managing this team; I would be hiring some new devs. It would be one thing if it happened once or twice but every patch they have to apply a fix the very next day. Does anyone remember the last time they didn't have to do that?

Recently Chris Schmidt released plans for how to obtain the mats for the up coming augments but received overwhelming negative response, to include myself. However, Instead of bashing the devs ideas, I would like to provide a solution to the the problem. Chris stated that group ranked player base was/is lacking and it's their goal to boost the population by forcing players into ranked/ops to gather mats needed for the new augments. No person or animal for that matter likes to be forced or feel like they're being forced to do something. With that, I think that the devs are looking at this in the wrong way. There's nothing wrong with ranked pvp or its rewards, it's the community. They're very hostile towards new players or players that don't preform to their standards. When you create a point system for winning, people tend to get competitive and want the highest score. However, when you take away those points people get upset and takeout their frustration on those that didn't do as well as they did. That's why you don't really see as much hostility in unranked but you do in ranked because you have something to lose. That's also one of the reasons why people tend to avoid ranked because that don't want to deal with the negativity. My solution is simple, remove losing points from losses in ranked matches and increase the points required to obtain the next tier. I believe that will help remove some of the negativity of plays and still keep ranked competitive. As someone who plays ranked I would welcome new players if I didn't have to worry about losing points from a loss.

I hope the devs read this. As a ranked player, once these new augments come out I'm not going to play ranked anymore. I'm not going to try to get the mats for these augs and knowing GTN it will be stupidly overpriced. I will be under-geared next to ranked players that do get them, thus I'm not playing ranked anymore. Whoever came up with this stupid idea should be fired or at the least, given a job that's not important, like take out the trash or stare at the wall. Oh one last thing, we're not friends. You continuously try to force us to do things we don't want to do and take away stuff that we liked. No friend of mine would do that.

Fixed it, if this happens to you, leave the planet and restart the game. Oh Bioware and its many "features" so many "features", makes me feel like I'm playing a game in early beta.

Can't complete No Escape main planet mission on Taris. I deactivate the force field in the space port and it tells me to locate Thana but the force field is still up. I tried resetting the phase, the mission, and abandoned the mission; nothing works.

That's what that was. I never did the swoop event, looked dumb but I saw those makers and had no idea what it was.

Yes, but what I was hoping for was something more manageable like your gen, pvp, and trade chat. You can click the chat icon next to where you type to switch to any of them. Plus, the most important part, you can go into your settings to turn off any of them. That's what I'm getting at, is being able to turn off all chat but looking for group chat. I just don't want to hear anything more about Biden or Trump. I watch the news enough in real life, I don't want to turn on a video game to have to wade through all that just to find an ops or fp group. I wouldn't think it would be hard to do, the chat channel code should be almost identical. Just change some names around and where it points to and bam, you got yourself a lfg channel but then again I'm a network specialist not a coder.

I returned about 2 months ago to another server merge, which has its positives and negatives. One negative, is the general chat on fleet, it is full of political trolling, normal trolling, and guild recruitment spamming just to name some of the things I've seen. The only reason I don't close general chat is because I look out for looking for group (LFG) posts. That is why I'm asking to make a channel for LFG, there's already one for pvp and trade. Also, with so many people typing in general chat it is easy to miss someone trying to create a group or ops. I don't play video games so I can talk or read about politics and in the past this wouldn't have been necessary but if there was a LFG chat I wouldn't have to have general open. Finally, I challenge any dev to sit in fleet general chat for a day and read all the garbage posted and tell me you wouldn't want to close it out too.

Today I purchased the Holoshield Trooper's Armor set from the Cartel Market and the armor plates on the pants are missing when I put them on my merc. I submitted a ticket asking for a refund for the broken gear I just got but I was told no. It's really annoying when you buy something to find out it's broken so you try to return it and are told no.

Thanks for the info, Iv'e been gone for a couple of years so I haven't been up on what's been going on. When I came back, I kinda got the impression that the devs / community managers aren't really communicating well. I guess I'll create a Tweeter account because I really feel strongly about which theme to hear when you open up the game. I personally don't like the new one because it starts off really loud and it doesn't have that Star Wars feel to me. Also, the original was the theme of the game. To me it would be like if they change the opening crawler theme of the movies. But I understand some people like the change and that's why I hope they at least give us the option. My current fix is to mute the in game music and play the original on YouTube, but I'm tired of doing that so I guess I'm off to Tweeter.

I've recently come back to SWTOR to hear a new title theme... it's horrible to say the least. It would be like if Disney changed the opening theme of the movies. I know this isn't new, I've seen plenty of post about how people hate this new theme while I was searching on how to change it back to the old. I'm just hoping that devs see this and at least give us the option of choosing between the old and the new theme. But with all the bugs I'm seeing since I came back, I just don't think they care anymore.
