  1. It doesnt seem so. From early development on, there was a general refusal to listen to the playerbase. I suspect the game might be in better shape now if some of the suggestions had not been ignored
  2. This is the kind of stuff I have come to expect from BW (sadly). Its no different than those lame Friday updates when the game was still* in development. I remember one was something like "this is what a hallway will look like". Its frustrating and lacks a genuine concern for the consumer. After reading all those questions I saw only one thing that I couldnt have answered myself. *- some would argue the game IS still in development
  3. This has been really frustrating for me. Last night I had 5 hardmode groups all fail before they started because we couldnt find dps... (I never thought I would see the day, but suspect it has to do with a lack of combat log/dps meter). The lead on one of our groups had 6 differnet healers wisp him and no one wanted to respec because it is such a pain (I guess). dual spec would fix a lot of grouping issues imo.
  4. while leveling my healing spec sorc I could solo star mobs as long as there was something to break LOS nearby, like a rock or a hut etc. The longest battle lasted 55 mins as my companion died while it was still at 85% health and the mob was 2 levels above mine. Gold mobs are pretty easy as long as it isnt a big group of them like in a 4 man heroic. Chain pulling silver mobs seems to give me the most trouble, some of them hit really hard and if there are 4+ I have a hard time kiting them all.
  5. On healing: Ui needs fixing as well, the raid frames are tiny and health doesnt seem to reflect reality. Debuffs are impossible to see. Its a good thing the game is so easy otherwise there would be a lot of groups breaking up due to "lack of heals". On macros: dont like em, then dont use em (same goes for addons).
  6. I have a 2 year old stock sony laptop with a crappy ATI card. I havent spent any time optimizing my setup. I loaded the game and it was unplayable so i turned off the shadows and the turned the grass to low, now the game never dips below 30fps. My only complaint is slow loading screens between planets, WZs, and zoning into the main level on fleet. I did play the beta and have seen definite performance improvements since then.
