  1. 1.) Dead server gear progression. So...when Rated WZs start the groups from heavy pop servers will have gear advantage??? 1 hr to lose a wz on a dead server? GG BW. 2.) Faction imbalances: mirror abilities favor Imps. Why is this still an issue??? GG BW. 3.) Why haven't Warriors/Knights been nerfed yet? Trying to make people unsub??? GG BW. 4.) Why are there so many useless specs? Useless classes even? Is that meant to make people to re-roll??? GG BW. 5.) My biggest issue....end game pvp in this game is waiting on fleet for a wz to pop? BORING. This game needs 1 or 2 open pvp lvl 50 zones....with a common entrance and no safe zones. 4 warzones over and over and over ad nauseum??? GG BW. This game has potential to be epic win.....don't intentionally be epic fail. Its Friday primetime. My faction has 50 people logged in. WZs are a 2 hour wait. If I can't pvp in game....ima pvp on the forums.
  2. I didnt think it was over the top OP. 2 utilities, 2 boosts to survivability....1 of which is passive. But yeah, definately a talking point. If threads like this get enough productive conversation going...maybe the ivory tower will listen.
  3. Here's my 2 cents for fixing the Infiltration tree...quite simple too imo. (PVP perspective of course) 1.) Shadowy Veil: remove it. In PVP, this is virtually worthless. Replace with a new ability called "From The Shadows", which is a 'Charge' that has to be used while stealthed and either stuns the target for 2 seconds or roots the target for 4 seconds. CONCEPT: Shadow/Assassins are 'killers' last time I checked. The element of surprise is kewl. 2.) Vigor: increase to 50 instead of 10 and/or increase Resilience effect to 12 seconds. CONCEPT: Shadow/Assassin should be fast paced and lethal, waiting for Force is kinda silly. Especially since Sorcs and Sages can bump up too what....600? Increasing Resilience is just helping with the massive issue of survivablity in this tree. If OP, decrement in 2 second increments until deemed 'balanced'. 3.) Kinectic Field: add 25% ranged damage defense and 25% melee damage defense. CONCEPT: Umm...a smart 'Master of the Force' could channel energy into protection when he's getting his face kicked in. 4.) Situational Awareness: remove current effects. Instead speccing this would allow the new ability "From the Shadows" and Spinning Kick to be be used out of stealth. CONCEPT: as a master of death (Shadow/Assassin), if the situation requires it, charge/disable a target of opportunity when they're vulnerable. That's it. 4 quick-easy steps. I would think that would be enough to make Infiltration viable, while not increasing damage output. I would think instead of seeing 90% of Shadows/Sins running the same spec....Infiltration would be a ton more viable....and also fun. Get it done! Shoot, maybe in the short term just tinker with the passive abilities. Sage/Sorc has light armor too, but range is a part of their defense, that's huge....a clothie melee needs some sort of defense or just be flat-out the undisputed master of damage in the game. Snipers hit harder than infil Shadows? That don't even make sense...not 1 bit...not being this squishy as a melee AT. (IMO as it is now, KC is the most viable spec out there in group play as far as team-utility is concerned. I leveled strictly Infiltration. Lvl 50 PVP...couldn't hang....had to respec KC. Btw, I'm over Valor 70, so I have just a smidge of game time in SWTOR.)

  5. Thread title: "The devs really got out of hand nerfing sorceror's! " I don't see the word 'damage' there.....derp.....durp. As far as damage does, boo friggin hoo. Can't do 800K in a WZ anymore? Good. That was broke, they fixed it. Sorcs still do great damage. L2Kite.
  6. + Smugglers and Gunslingers need a buff imo. Shadow/Sin non-tank trees need a buff. - Sorc/Sage bubbles need a nerfin. BH rail shot is way OP. Sent/Mara need minor adjustments. Most of all, faction issues need to get fixed. Activation times, ability delays, etc. Give Sages something other than rocks! A big reason, imo, faction imbalances are bad is because the Pubs dont have enough Sages. Overall, balance could be a lot worse. Not complaining....much.
  7. Yall are way off. Sorcs are awesome in group play. Show me an Imp team with 1 or no Sorcs....and that team loses. Sorcs still can heal for 500K easily. L2P imo.

  9. I'm not a liar and am honest. This is confirmed with multiple Rep toons lvl 50. I could only confirm this problem didn't happen on < 50 Imps.

  12. Boo fricken hoo. Yeah...you got BM in a day from exploiting Ilum turrets. Yeah...you win 38 of 40 matches due to that major faction imbalances with gear....due to your cheating. Yeah...you whine that skill > gear. Now that gear may be a non-factor you cry? That is awesome and it makes me happy. LMAO!!!!

  14. Check for yourself, bro. Level 50 confirmed. < 50 not sure. Fraps would help. Watch and see your highest hit on bubble text. Say it was 5K. Look at your targets health. If you hit for 5K and your target only lost 2.5K, double check that with the mouse over at the end of the match on your damage. I'll bet it's 2.5K. Yeah....Pubs lack skill. /laughable Bet this was found in beta and not reported. Major bug!!!!
  15. Long story short....I quit. But....heard some funny stuff. Hey Pubs, ever seen you biggest hit in a WZ for like 4400? Then check you highest hit at the end of the match and saw 2400 instead of 4400? Guess what, this doesn't happen on the Imp side. Lol. Don't believe me? Check for yourself. Even funnier. They have better gear than you. Which isn't a 2% difference like the Imps claim. If you're full Champion gear, sure, it's like 7%. If you're half Champ and half Cent...it's more like a 25-30% difference. Suckers. Rofl. Rumor has it BW cant reproduce this on their end. Hmm. Why is that? Just like Cryptic Studios learned....their PTS configuration (set of files) was different that their Live server set. *blank stare* Too funny. LMAO!!!!!
  16. Calculated a wz. One of the 38 losses today. Imps did 2.2 million damage, Pubs did 700K. Moot point. Can delete thread. I uninstalled. Later gators. GL. HF.
  17. Dude...we killed it in the < 50 bracket. But there was a ton of kill trading and turret exploiting on my server by the lvl 50 Imps. Reps are so outmatched it isn't even funny just based on gear. These guys ain't good. They plant....don't move....laugh off damage....and dominate. /crap

  19. Have won 1 out of 23 warzones so far today. One. One lousy win. Bioware, do you understand what's going on here? Seriously. I don't think you do. Some of us are going to quit, and that's fine, such as life in a MMO. The others that stick around and narrow the gap are gonna get got. Cuz when they level the playing field and the Imps actually start losing....guess what....they'll quit. Then you'll have the PVE crowd to cater to...which is probably best for you'se guys anyways...since you don't get it. GG. March 22nd I'm out. I'm not paying to be farmed by people you ALLOWED to exploit Ilum and didn't have the stones to rollback. Cowards. I'd like a refund as well.....but I know that ain't gonna happen. Worst gaming purchase I've ever made? Maybe, maybe not. I dunno. I would put AOC, COH, COV, and WOW above this any day. (Although levels 1-49 were pretty awesome.) Sticky this. At least let us get a win on the forums.

  21. Ding level 50 today. Ding Valor 50 today. After one day of this mess....I ain't paying for it. Yep...playing Repub. It's a waste of time. Couldn't meet the dailies. Ilum was a bloodbath. Warzones were just watching terribad imps faceroll. Today was a joke. /unsub Yes, you can have my stuff. Infinity Gate server.
  22. So...lemme get this straight. Since launch, I've managed to get to level 46 and valor 46. Pvp...thats why Im here. Should ding 50 this week. From what I hear on my server, Repubs rarely win in the level 50 bracket. Due to major gear differences. I ding 50 and its gonna take me 5 months of getting beat down by lesser players to even out the playing field due to gear??? I like a challenge and all...but come on. They better lower the costs or something. Aint right for new 50s to spend 5 months doing something that took others 2-4 weeks to do. I aint going out like that. Not gonna bother if thats the case...
  23. Run a Warzone. Sort by damage and kills. Who's at the top? Sort by deaths. Who's at the bottom? Problem is either: survivability is too high or enemy melee doesn't have enough burst or sustained dps. (Imo, the melee force users need a break with force costs. A lot of times they can attack, just don't have the force to do it. Meanwhile in Sorc-land....I've never not been able to attack due to not having enough force. Minor tweaks may be needed, maybe full on nerfs, I dunno. Putting the bubble on a 4 minute cooldown could probably solve everything.)
