Just stopped by to support the idea of 12x. I've done most of the stories and I enjoyed them all. Of the few that I have left the only reason I don't run them is because I don't want to play all the non-story content again. I love the epic story and want to enjoy it. Maybe tie this legacy perk to having a 50 on both factions or something similar.

Been away from the game for a year, came back excited for the new content. Making a new char to level up with the xp boost. Crash. Now a queue even though standard pop level. Sigh.

Is this it for guilds? I was really optimistic when there was at least a guild page on your website and hopeful there would be some tools in game. Can we at least have an in game calendar?

I agree completely. I don't think its necessarily a bad thing either. With these double xp weekends I've been able to just focus on one story and not have to get side tracked by a million other things. Which is how the new Makeb arc is laid out. I think it keep people much more focused on what's going on. And enjoy the story being told. When I have 15 side missions the story gets muddled. My hope is that in the future these arcs will have some branches per class though. Keep the same story but come at it via goals/consequences in slightly different manners based on class. There is a lot of middle ground between 8 totally different stories and 1 universal story.

Any type of Guild functionality! Calendar and some way to mass email my guildmates would be wonderful! Any type of cross-fraction interaction would also be awesome.

Totally unrealistic to keep all of these classes running independently and expect any type of timely turn-around. I think it would be nice to see some middle ground where we have one large arcing story but it sometimes branches in different manners for each class. I don't just mean the language, which is what I suspect we'll see with this upcoming expansion, but also some different goals or consequences.

Has to be Tank. I love being in the front leading the charge. I like setting up the fights and I think the tank position is the easiest to troubleshoot the fight from if there is a problem.

I've seen a lot of really angry posts about the repair bills and other patch changes and I completely agree but I think the more we whine like children the less credence it carries. I don't think anyone agrees with the repair changes that have happened and it's caused a huge impact in my guild's (among most others) ability to run ops at a high level. I would really like it if we (players and bioware) could have any kind of conversation on this topic.

I love how the devs updated their notice 6 minutes before the maintenance to reflect the new time. I'm glad we got all our guildies together just to have us kicked. Awesome job guys.

Man I hope so. I almost never PVP mostly because I don't enjoy running warzones over and over but if there was some kind of objective... IE holding this position opens up the area boss or something like that then I would be down for that. To your earlier question of why they like to gank, because you hate it. Some people want to watch the world burn, that's never going to change.

Healers are almost always needed. The type? I think most groups want a good player rather then a good specific type. I probably personally see the healer merc the least but I don't know why you'd want to pick something just because of the number out there. Play whatever is most fun for you.

So since they have a harder time learning the fight we should take their gear as OP suggests? I'm not sure that's going to solve the problem. BTW what is this mystical gear that sells for so much its worth taking from a person who can use it?

No I just try to help the people learn the fights so they get better and can contribute rather then get discouraged and stop playing.

Just finished the HK quest with a group of 3. 2 got HK with full gear and I got him with nothing. Filed a bug report but they just said to watch the forums. Disappointing.

I think this blog post is a good example of what is so frustrating. When I saw 'state of the game' I sat back and prepared to take in some substantial information and hopefully get excited about the future. Instead we rehashed the same generalizations we always do. Why even bring up topics 1 and 2 if we aren't going to get into them? Saying that people left for various reasons and that this will help us thrive is fine. Once you explain how that's true. As an example, it would be great if in the first topic we could get into what some of the new teams are working on- is there something cool you can give us a sneakpeak at for 2013? Anything? Instead- there are problems and we are working on solutions. I can't really comment on topic 3 as I haven't been paying attention to those servers but I assume its coming up a lot since its being addressed here. But that's just another 'wait and see' response. Which, in and of itself isn't horrible, but why take out a front page ad to announces more waiting? There are so many people, including myself, having a great time with this game and rooting for it to become even better. I just think we want to be spoken to plainly and honestly-- this, more then anything else, will help us to have more productive conversations that we can all take something from.
