  1. Well, to be fair if you've ever played an Agent or Smuggler you already know exactly what the system looks like, because it's essentially identical to them now, only the graphic is different.
  2. Yeah, good advice, I will put it in as a bug, though I don't strictly speaking think it -is- one, it's probably just an oversight as you said. I was just disproportionately angry enough about it at the time to post on here.
  3. It's a problem. You may not consider it significant. But it's a problem. Tbh, I don't really know why I brought this onto the forums, they say feedback should go here but it's always a waste of time posting here. "ERMAGERD THIS IS A PROBLEM? THIS IS TINY PROBLEM!" It's a problem. It's a problem and it's an easy fix, too. Unless you're going to contradict the point, stop being an ***.
  4. I believe you missed the point of my post and didn't read it properly. I said the 100 ammo cells thing was a good thing. I said the UI hasn't been changed to compensate for that and that is a -bad- thing.
  5. Haven't found another post about this, I figure there must be one somewhere but I'll just start a new thread. Honestly, the conversion of Trooper resource management for 2.0 has to be the single laziest, sloppiest conversion I've ever seen. I mean, fantastic, we're now running on the same 100 point system the other classes are, and yes, this is a good thing, we needed this change. But if you're going to do that, is it really so difficult to update the damn resource bar along with it? So now, not only does Trooper not have a numeric indicator on their bar of how many cells are left like every single other class does, we're left with just a bar with a 12 cell graphic still on it. Why a 12 cell graphic for a 100 cell system? They don't even divide directly, you drop down to the next regen level just -before- 4 of the cells on the graphic are gone. Honestly, Bioware, this is just inexcusable laziness on your part. It still leaves troopers at a disadvantage because whereas every single other class has some indicator of where their resources lie, we're left guessing and making rough estimates based on how much of a picture is left. Please get it sorted. It'd take about 5 minutes for someone to copy/paste the code for the Smuggler or Imp Agent resource bar and check there's no conflicts. (I'd have made the post sooner but I only just started playing my Trooper again)
  6. Pay to win in the absolute truest sense of the words. The fact that not only does this stuff enable you to buy grade 7 and grade 8 crafting materials faster, as well as get black hole and daily commendations... what Bioware have done here is utterly disgusting. I'm sad to say this but I think they just lost my subscription as well. Along with any future investment on my part. There's only one thing publishers like EA understand: boycott. Complain with your wallets, people, until they damn well fix this.
  7. To be honest, I think you're all worrying -far- too much about this Shadow/Assassin tank business anyway. We have a regular Assassin tank in our Denova Hard Mode runs and he has zero problems, in fact he's got niches on the vast majority of fights where he can do things better than any other tank can because of things like CD's, etc. We have absolutely -no- problems taking him through a Denova HM clear, and i'm 99% positive that after the patch, we'll -still- have absolutely no problems taking him through a Denova HM clear. It doesn't get harder than that in PvE, so I honestly completely fail to see the issue you guys are having. As long as a tank is still viable to run through the hardest content in the game, how can it be a serious issue from a PvE standpoint?
  8. Bear in mind, it's an issue for those of us in Rakata gear too nowadays, since we're generally expected to wear at least one piece of augmented legacy gear. I picked the Sorcerer's Vestments 'cos they look bloody awesome on my SI, and I was fed up of gigantic shoulders making me look like I could spontaneously take flight at any given moment. Unfortunately, now I've got hood clipping to live with, or go back to singing Free Bird every time I go raiding. EDIT: Yes, I know I could just equip a lower robe instead, but it's only a temporary fix. Sooner rather than later I'll start kitting myself out in campaign gear, and then the entire issue returns as I start wearing more and more legacy armour with the set bonuses ripped out, and in the interim? Well, the point of this legacy change was to encourage people to choose a look appropriate to themselves rather than be a carbon copy of everyone else. This means we should be able to wear any legacy set we want without being visually penalized.
  9. As I said, she's not light. She's grey. Very grey. Many of the things she -does- approve of are quite horrific really. Hell, recently it's even become the case that on a few light/dark choices, -both- will give me positive affection. Fact of the matter is, over time she does get more and more grey, trying to hold onto her Jedi beliefs while she slowly but surely has to concede how stupidly and blindly most of them are followed. I think it's really well done, no sudden fall but a gradual corruption over time, if you can call it that. I'm currently around 7k affection and she's now pretty much convinced that the Jedi are just as stupid as the Sith, she's in a complete middle ground, and frankly I haven't actively tried to make her darker, the option could be there. To be honest, she fits both alignments really well, and all this crying about not being able to fully convert her is just plain silly in my honest opinion. You can still be very evil without random acts of cruelty, it's the difference between lawful and chaotic evil, if you're familiar with D&D. She doesn't like fighting Jedi, fine, you can exclude her from that. Rational thought and secrets of the force, the things she likes, can fit into an evil character just as well as a good one, it just means you need to be less of a mindless tyrant and more of a methodical, intellectual killer, who uses logic and reason to justify his motives. It's not hard, and considering we're inquisitors, we're meant to be the cunning, intelligent, forward thinking ones. Fact is, there's plenty of ways to work her into your story whichever alignment you choose, and if you're not willing to do that, well, sucks to be you. But don't blame Bioware for a lack of compatibility, because it's frankly not true. Best advice I can give is to start thinking of yourself as an agent of the Empire rather than a purely self-serving git and she'll love you. If your RP doesn't fit that, well, you're screwed, but it's not written -anywhere- that she -has- to love you regardless.
  10. Tbh, from questing with her, no, she can't go dark side, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. She becomes very "grey" when you gain more affection with her, adopting parts of the sith code as much as the jedi one, embracing her emotions more, seeing the flaws in the way she was taught. She doesn't become a fully evil char but that shouldn't stop anyone with dark alignment romancing her, in fact, it means those with light alignment can do so too. She's just very logical, and inquisitive, and as long as you are too, as well as being proactively helpful, regardless of how light or dark you are, you won't have a problem with her. I actually play a "grey" char and she fits him perfectly.
