  1. Then I say "then run this instance with your alt" I'm OK with PUGs most of the time. The only issues arise when greedy d-bags try to steal mah lootz.
  2. I'm curious, you think that because you MIGHT not get more than a day or two of EARLY (i.e. the game isn't even actually out yet) access to a game that it makes sense to not buy it and instead go play something else? Why? Because you thought you'd get a free trial out of pre ordering? You could have done what the rest of the world did and signed up for the beta for that.
  3. I'm one of the ones that ordered in July and I'm still not in. See me raging? Nope. Bummed because I have the day off and I'm a little bored atm and this would be an awesome passtime, but hardly raging.
  4. 7/27 here and no invite. So IMO, you're probably not getting in today, as I'm planning on making it either tomorrow or Thursday. Or, more realistically, Friday night when I have to go out of town for the weekend, which would pretty much make my early access and preordering completely pointless. That's my prediction.
  5. "Best story" is purely subjective, it's impossible to tell you which one you'll like and which you won't. Are you a conqueror? Warrior Are you into politics and subterfuge? Inquisitor Do you like to save the day? Knight Do you like mystery novels? Consular That's what I gathered from my limited time in the beta tests.
  6. Last wave of the day sent. If you didn't get in, you're not gonna til later. And that's how the forums died down on Dec 13 at 10AM.
  7. The 25/0/16 build might work. IMO, it would make a decent off-tank and would be OK for DPS. Death Field and all that.
  8. July 27. Won't be getting it today.
  9. The second one. That's when you put in your pre order code and that's the order in which they'll be giving out early access. Where you REALLY should be looking is in your email, because until you get that email, you won't be getting EGA anyway.
  10. For a stealth class, I'd say Operative. I like the idea of sneaking up and stabbing somebody with a knife more than I like sneaking up with a lightsaber. That's just me.
  11. IMO, don't bother using it at all. It launches everything everywhere and might draw too much attention on you. The only reason you'd want to use it is because you don't have an AOE tanking skill yet, but as soon as you can actually tank, you get one. Pointless skill for the sake of tanking, IMO. Only in extreme circumstances where you or your healer need a vital few seconds before taking any more damage.
  12. Because that's what the OP wants is a DPS class. I'd say you're probably going to want a Sentinel, OP. Shadow takes a bit of thought/planning and you seem to be more of a berserker type.
  13. Yes, because it's SO inconvenient for you to realize you can't equip something. /boot
  14. Wow, you must have played on a ****ty server, dude. I only had that happen one time by one player, and only because it was some kid who didn't know anything about the need/greed system.
  15. I say you can roll need on companion gear if nobody else wants it on their character. For instance, heavy armor in a group of characters that can only wear light and medium? Sure, go ahead and roll need on that for your companion. Have a trooper/BH that rolls need? **** no, you roll need on that you run the risk of winning it for something that you, quite frankly, should only be using when you absolutely can't find other people to play with and being kicked from my group. That's my take on it. Need rolling for companions when all others greed/pass = OK Need rolling against someone whose character actually needs it = NO Need rolling on everything when you clearly don't need it = kick Greed rolling on everything = fine, you're just a greedy goblin. I'm cool with that.
  16. Pre ordered the day it was available, that morning even. HOWEVER, I was too stupid to READ and didn't realize that I had to put in a code until a couple days later. FML much?
  17. Considering diminishing returns in higher levels, 1-3% endurance would be a small amount of HP and probably wouldn't make much difference at all. Avoid whatever points you can in that talent.
  18. Yes, that is the product key that you will be getting. As far as the rest, I couldn't tell you. I can, however, tell you that the product key is NOT the same as the preorder key.
  19. If things haven't changed much, Khem should be able to DPS for you well enough that you don't need to worry about leveling taking too long. That and the fact that you get a lot more from quest turn ins than for trash anyway.
