  1. You keep typing this crap, but your posts have no substance. Why not just answer him and make a list of the things an Op/scoundrel bring to a group, that would make the group pick you over another class.
  2. lol the smuggler sets look weird at best
  3. What you write seems quite clear. It's one Quick Shot.
  4. No range increase. The +5 range compared to other classes is not very useful considering lag and all. I had hoped for an increase to at least 40m when speccing into SS. But overall a very fine boost, that fixes a few issues and tweaks some of our abilities to be more useful.
  5. *** is up with the absolutely pointless and utterly stupid political debate resembling grown ups degenerating to pre puperty kids... the subject is different but the approach to debating the right there in the school yard. First I fired up rift. Bah pvp was piss poor. Then I got back on AoC, but meh pvp was laggy and piss poor. Then I logged into my wow account and checked out subscriptions... but just cloed the window thinking... nah pvp is piss poor and boring. Then I tried the wrath of heroes beta, bah... pvp... piss poor. Then I pondered if a siege in WAR would be... nah... piss poor pvp. Then I fired up my PS3 and actually enjoyed a bit of DC Universe online PvP... not bad, but still... shallow. Now I've run out of options and since SWTOR is likely to be back up before GW2 releases, I guess I'll just play some CoD while waiting.

  8. Just got here... perhaps the servers will be online soon. I'm just playing swtor while waiting for GW2. I want proper PvP, not the poor approach this game have taken to PvP.
  9. Ehh... no. Some people like the sound of bag pipes, althought most people won't enjoy it. That doesn't mean pop music is better music. PvP centric games aren't big generally and it's most likely because they are much harder to do well, than PvE centric games. DAoC however had a system that was rewarding and fun, and you really felt like you were in a warzone. There were some great sieges and the game was a great PvP game. I just can't think of a game that beats the PvP in DAoC in terms of rule sets and general setup. Popularity has nothing to do with quality... that's the mind set of sheep.
  10. So WoW is THE MMO because it's popular? WoW sucks. I hate it. I am a 90% PvP'er, so yes DAoC is all that. I played it for years and it was quite active. It's not a behemoth like WoW, but I think WoW is proof enough that your logic is flawed. DAoC is still active, but the core of the game is just too outdated now (animations/graphics). But if a new game released with modern graphics, animations, sounds etc. and had a precise copy of the DAoC RvR setup... then yes I'd play it. Just wait until you see GW2. It draws a lot from DAoC, and I will be enjoying the PvP at release.
  11. Nothing if that's your thing. But for me it's like having a better gun in CoD and claiming a win. I want to win too... I just don't want my gear to win. I'd rather have PvP that I want to play just for the sake of the experience. The playing itself is the incentive and not gear.
  12. DAoC PvP is the best I have ever played. It wasn't a perfect game at all, but the three faction siege warfare was absolutely brilliant and stand as a beacon for anyone who want to create successful open world PvP. WAR failed because they just didn't understand exactly what made DAoC so great in the first place. GW2 will be similar to DAoC, although tweaked, improved and just generally more fun. Don't worry about the leaks showing a bit of lag... when GW2 release it'll be the first game in a long long time to deliver some great mass PvP.
  13. It will Not sure I'll really uninstall this game though, because it's still star wars and if they manage to get some good updates to PvP live, then I'll enjoy the game once in a while.
  14. I like CoD. I don't play cod to get new gear. I play it for the experience itself. I want a PvP MMO to be like that. I just don't think SWTOR will ever be able to deliver that... where the experience itself is enough incentive to play PvP. I look forward to GW2 though, because... wow.
