  2. First off it's nice to see that you've now spec'd out of crash. But now I would take your 2 points in shield spec and 2 points in revenge and put them in lash out and quake. Other than that I would argue that crushing blow may seem better than impale but don't forget impale has a 9 second cooldown as opposed to CB which is 15. With a CB build you have a lot of time where you are spamming assault or VS while with an impale build you are not.
  3. the way stances are set up now they shouldn't even have been called stances. they might as well be a high lvl talent in each tree. each tree pretty much restricts you to one stance and heavily discourages stance dancing which i think is poorly designed.
  4. Basically agree with everything OP said as I've run a very similar build for awhile. That said I have two questions. My first question to OP is if the 1 point in crash is worth it. Force Charge already immobolizes for 2 seconds and interrupts a cast is the 2 second stun really worth the resolve filler? My second question to OP is aren't the 2 points in revenge better spent on guard stance? In pvp I don't find revenge all that helpful in full DPS gear and no points in guard stance or blade barricade. Basically I would take the 1 point in crash and 2 points in revenge and put them in to guard stance. I know it defense isn't effective against all classes but whats the reasoning of putting the points into revenge then?
  5. The reason endure pain is terrible is because it doesnt act as a buffer it acts instead as a temporary bonus that is completely refunded when it expires. In the example above you would end up with absolutely no benefit from endure pain. The only time it matters is if you take enough damage that eould otherwise kill you but instead dips into the extra hp from endure pain and even then you will be left with 1 hp upon its expiration. Basically its about as effective as to survivability as taking a multivitamin is to treating terminal cancer.
  6. This actually is very promising and makes a lot of sense. The top half of the immortal tree is largely garbage save instant force choke and backhand and those seem easily offset by the benefits gained in vengeance.
  7. Problem is that you dont need to be immortal to use guard. The only real benefits to immortal are invincibility cooldown, backhand, and instant force choke. Other side benefits is uou get to force push more often and aoe taunt more often. Other than that vengeance and rage both fouble or triple our dps and dont really lose surviviability. Actually vengeance tanks consistently better in pvp imo and is better for ball carrying due to unstoppable.
  8. 1. shield spec is terrible - point for point you get very little for your investment. 2. never spec into crash - basically you gain nothing from it except now your charge fills your target's resolve bar (it already immobilizes for 2 seconds and interrupts a cast - what more do you need it for). 3. thrown guantlet and intimidation are must haves imo for pvp if you're going this route. 4. i find dark blood to be not so good (ymmv). same with revenge (especially in pvp). 5. when everything is said and done though, vengeance probably does a better job at tanking in pvp than immortal does - even though backhand and the instant force choke are completely BAWS. 6. i spec'd immortal because I enjoy pvp but don't want to have to respec everytime i do a hardmode so i understand going immortal.

  13. You quoted me and said immobolize doesn't interrupt casts. That's not what I said so you failed at reading.
  14. I know it works but if you do the math 4% shield chance is really really really really really weak for 2 points. just sayin.
  15. crash takes a 2 second immobolize that already interrupts casts that is off DR (doesn't effect resolve) and turns it into a 2 second stun (basically same effect but also affects DR/resolve) in other words crash is a terrible talent.

Immortal helps the team a lot more and your dmg isn't amazing but it doesn't suck either. Also its nice to be able to put 5 stacks of sunder on someone in 2 globals. I have the 2 piece set bonus for tank (1 extra second on force choke). I know it's bugged but just stand still for a split second to cast it and you can start moving again. They'll fix it eventually but having a 4 second force choke is really nice. That and backhand is amazing cuz my pimp hand strong. Plus as immortal you have no problems with rage while being in soresu stance - which you should be in for pvp in any spec anyway.
