I turn 30 this month. Most of my guild is late 20's - early 40's. We have a couple people in their early 60's or so. Actually, three pairs of our players are father/son, with the sons being early to late 20's and the fathers being well... old enough to be their fathers

Do you live in his house? If you do, and that is the restriction he puts on, you are stuck with it. if you don't live with him, than its up to you what a reasonable play time is.

Well, its been said before, but I'll say it again. Sure, you shouldn't of been in PvP gear for PvE content, but you weren't the only one, and that seems to be the guild standard, as you were a PvP guild, so no worries. Outside of that, the guy was a douche, the guildies seem to have taken his view, and you're better off without them. Time to find yourself a better guild suited to your needs. And don't let people fool you, if you have to reroll on another server than just go ahead and do it. You can level in a week or two easy.

I keep seeing people LF servers/guilds, so I'm giving this more love to help them find the right home.

There would be advantages to rolling other classes, but its not completely useless to roll the same class. If they are different species than you still get to unlock those species for all classes, if you go different LS/DS then they said there would be rewards for that too. Of course to you still the legacy XP for anything Legacy level related. This is just a couple off the top of my head.

You will not be able to recustomize your characters. If there are features you want for your alt, you will need to wait until 1.2, unless one of the things you are wanting is one of the new species options, than you should get that species to 50 now.

Either turn of DS corruption, as people said, or just start gaining LS points. Once you max LS you will lose your remains DS points.

I have a friend who stopped doing his class quests around alderaan. he can do all the belsavis dailies, and all but the heroic quest on Ilum.

I believe I read somewhere they were aiming for the end of April for server transfers. Just grin and bear it and reroll. Especially now that PvP is even easier to get valor and gear up, it won't take you long. If anything, when you reroll, roll a different class, then when transfers are available you move your 50 over and have 2 instant 50s already geared.

Each boss is tied to a certain token. When the boss dies, it randomly assigns loot to each person. The loot can be 1) Nothing (sadness) 2) Off-piece 3) Tionese 4) Columi token.

Operations drop for each person in Normal mode. This is to make it pug friendly. Guilds would like more control in who gets what gear, so HM/NM drop x pieces, and the guild gets to decide where it goes.
