    RP guild

Is there a RP guild that is recruiting I am looking for Imperial and Rep side. Thanks
  2. Sorry if this has been posted a lot but does anyone know if there is a way to see if you qualify for the HK-55 Bonus mission before August 1st?
  3. If you make a character Transfer does it notfiy your old guild or just make them disappear? What happens to your credits and gear?
  4. Ok so there may be spoilers here but I will try not to. I am having trouble beating the guy towards the end. I got him almost down and it timed out because and started me back to I get before him. He has shields up and I am not doing any damage. Is there a secret or something I need to do to get him to drop his shields earlier?
  5. I am with the original OP here there are a lot of negative things on the forums about the game and the expansion. I have early access but I have not played any of the new story yet. I didn't have SoR before so I am enjoying that part first. I thought about just jumping in with the lvl 60 but I figured I wanted to see most of the other stories first. I think that most people are saying is what are they are going to do after they finish the story part of the game. The alliance thing sounds like so much fun and even if there is a part that you have to do that you normally wouldn't do like PvP. Maybe they put that in there to get ones who don't like it or never tried it before to give that part of the game a try. I am a very causal gamer as I don't even have 1 character up to lvl 60 yet and I have been around off an on since the game started. I think I will have plenty to do until they bring out the next set of chapters and although I like to group and hang out with friends I love the fact that there is so much I can do when I just have a little time. Someone said it was like a TV show or a movie well to mean that is the ultimate entertainment being able to interact with my favorite show would be awesome.
  6. Oh ok thanks for the information
  7. Ok I was doing the forged alliance flashpoint at the beginning of SoR and I was solo or with my companion. I got a droid I think I have heard them called GOD Bots or something before. Anyways my question is when I got him the first time it flashed that if he were to die then I could recall him. I lost him towards the end and I couldn't not figure out how to get a new one. Does anyone know how this works?
  8. Does anyone know if you are subbed and states that you are subbed but have added times with game cards does that consider you subbed for Early Access. It doesn't really matter to me or not but was just curious if anyone has done this. I never cancelled sub and have not removed credit card. My status says subscribed but haven't had to charge my Credit card for a few months because I have plenty of time from the game cards.
  9. Thanks for all the information and the welcoming comments. I am on the Ebon Hawk and I have both a Imp and a Rep toon. I will definitely read the guides and all my guys are over lvl 10 so will check out the mission and definitely read the guides. I may wait to start till after the KOTFE just because I don't get to play a lot and trying to get at least one of my Rep characters ready to go. But in the meantime while I'm at work I will check out the guide.
  10. Ok so I have never played any of this part of the game before. So I have a few questions. I am playing on my laptop so I guess the first thing is how will that be to fly with that? Can you assign keys to different things than default like in the regular game? Is there a certain lvl you should be before you do any of these missions? How do you pick which ship you use? Or should I stick to the PVE piltoting? Thanks
  11. Ok I have a lvl 43 Jedi Knight Guardian and a lvl 55 Sith Maruader. What should I get as crew skills?
  12. This is not a completely true statement. You can become preferred and never have subbed in the game before. If you start as a F2P player and you purchase cartel coins, a character slot or anything from the cartel market as long as you have spent at least $5 you become preferred. Once you are preferred you can purchase up to 6 additional character slots for a max of 12. If you were a sub and you stopped your sub then you drop to preferred player with the option to have an additional 10 character slots for a total of 16. The ones that have never subbed before when KOTFE comes out will have the option to purchase 2 more character slots giving them a total of 14 slots. Bioware cannot take away or have any reason to take away something that someone has already purchased. They are given the f2p players that went to preferred the option to purchase 2 more probably with the hopes of them subbing for at least a month to get the new content. The OP just misread or misunderstood what the actual information was. Now for those that are bashing him lighten up but the ones that bashing bioware for something that obviously they cannot do need to take a step back and relax.
  13. Hello I am a returning player I have been back a few months now. I am really enjoying the game and I started a Jedi Knight he is lvl 43 and I am looking for a guild for him. I am a very casual player as there are times when I do not log in at all and then sometimes when I will be online for just a little while. Usually do not go longer than a week that I do not log in. I use to play a lot but I have a beautiful fiancé and her and I like to go out and do things together so I tend to not play or take up to much of our free time together with it. What I am looking for a in a guild is a causal fun atmosphere and some light RP. Some individuals that enjoy the grouping with story mode FP's and possibly some intro to OP's. I have never been much of a PVP so maybe someone to teach the ends and outs. Some of this stuff would be hard without teamspeak or Skype I am sure but I rarely if ever would get on there just because usually when I am playing I am in the same room with everyone in my house. The OP's I would make exception and maybe do those when I had the time to get on. I am very talkative and like to be in a friendly atmosphere that realizes its just a game and everyone is here to have a great time. If your guild would be a good fit for me message me here or possibly in game the name is Lendern. Thanks and enjoy your time. Also I have a level 55 Sith Maruader, just waiting on the expansion to run SoR to get level 60 on him that needs a home. So far liking the Jedi Knight a little better. Knight is tank but I would definitely need pointers I am sure on some of the group content.
  14. Ok great thank you for the information.
  15. I was wondering how you know which items you can add to your collections and unlock on other characters?
  16. I don't know about the abilities or not and personally doesn't make a difference to me. I guess if I were to spend credits on getting him then I would pay more attention to it. I did him once and to be honest the quest was fun it was a challenge to get some people to join so that may be the hard part. I think the quest line was worth it and really felt like you worked for a new companion. It would be cool if we could get Trek that way.
  17. Ok so those certificates that you get in packs sometimes what do you do with those?
  18. Heres another. http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/8w1tp
  19. Well this is interesting topic because if I remember correctly in the first star wars movie Luke did wield and even fire a blaster. Although he was not very good at it. But I do see the issue with non force users using lightsabers.
  20. Well I am a very casual player that started when the game came out and took a long break. I came back a few months ago before I even knew about the new expansion coming out and started playing again. It took me awhile to learn the mechanics again and one of the biggest issues I had were the stats. For us casual gamers that want to come in and play a few hours at a time and enjoy getting rid of the confusion of which stat I need to focus on or spend so much time equipping our companions this is a huge big step forward. As far as the lvl sync goes I am sure all the quests that you have mentioned or the planets that have different lvls for heroics and planet lvl the developers have looked at that. For example if you watched the stream on the 30th that showed the lvl sync. He got a heroics mission from the fleet and even transported to the area directly so it would seem that he automatically synced when he got there. One would assume if you didn't have a mission and you just showed up on the planet then you would lvl sync to that planets lvl but if you had an active mission for that planet that required you to go back you would go at whatever lvl you are needed to complete the mission. All of the missions that I have completed in those cases have all been in instance solutions. I have not done all of the binocular quest line but the one on Dromund Kaas they were instanced so you could easily return to the correct lvl. I think some of the biggest things is that everyone is assuming they know how things are going to work instead of looking at the facts that we have and being reasonable about what actually is going to work. How many of you have been in a guild and heard countless hey can you come help me with this mission. The ones that go and help feel like they are hurting their guildmates because they are taking exp away from the lower person. So you can actually go and help your guild mates and maybe earn some experience but he most important part is that you are not taking it away from the others. As far as the ones that say you can stay in the lower planets and lvl to 60 I don't think that will work because you get majority of your exp when you finish the quest. So those that are just going to stay in one area to lvl to 60 by repeating the weekly heroics it is their choice and if they wish to do that I am not seeing how that effects anyone other than them if its even possible to lvl to 60 or 65 that way. I am sure there are going to be some errors as the devs are only human just like us all but I do not see anything that actually hurts anyone's playing the game the way it was meant to be played.
  21. That could actually be done and I do not think it would be that difficult. It could be side mission like they did with Everquest. It was long and drawn out but once you successfully did it you could train and get missions from the class that matched your class on the other faction. For example you could take a sith warrior make and give him the quest to turn to jedi and when that happens he could train and even do the jedi knight story. Starting at whatever chapter he left off it would not be impossible to do probably very hard but not impossible, If a game like everquest could do it all those years ago BW could definitely pull it off.
  22. So if you are a sub but have paid time with a package like from Amazon do you still get the monthly Cartel coin rewards?
  23. I just did not read the entire thing but I do think it is a great deal I mean it cost me 5 dollars less just for the sub price alone and gave me 2400 cartel coins as a bonus so I am happy with that. I just thought that maybe I was doing something wrong at first. I guess the next part of this is what I should do with my main character. He is lvl 55 now and really will hit 56 probably with one or two kills when I can activate the SoR. Is there anything I should do with him or just lvl another character?
